Random circumstances brought them together. Love made them family.
With Jo O’Malley’s busy career as a lawyer in Chicago, she rarely gets home to Idaho, but this year is different. Her little sister is getting married on Christmas Eve and she has two whole weeks to spend in the snow-covered mountains, with the three foster sisters she loves and Maddie, the woman who made them a family fifteen years ago.

Things get off to a rough start when the wedding is canceled, but Maddie asks them to enjoy their holidays together at the festive lodge as planned, in order to console their sister. It’s straight forward enough until Jo, through a chance encounter with a gorgeous golden retriever, runs into Luke, a boy she knew from her early childhood when she spent all her time at the local library.

Jo’s not sure how to handle the unexpected attraction and her new feelings for Luke, who is all grown up now, handsome, and as kind as ever. He’s set on staying close to his family in Granite Ridge and she has a plane ticket back to her life in Chicago after the new year. Are the sparks between them merely due to the nostalgia of the season, or will Luke open Jo’s heart to the prospect of passion for something beyond her career?

Christmas Wishes by Tammy L Grace

Book 3 in the Soul Sisters of Cedar Mountain Lodge series.
Jo’s story. Jo was the oldest of the foster girls that became soul sisters when Maddie decided to foster. Jo is a lawyer in Chicago and rarely gets home to visit. Even though her sisters wedding was cancelled, Jo travels home and revisits an old friendship.

Sweet and darling Christmas novel with plenty of holiday movies being watched, ornament decorating, and small town appreciation. Plus getting trapped as a couple in an isolated cabin in the mountains by a snowstorm. A perfect setting for getting to know each other.
I enjoyed the reason Luke wanted to go to the karaoke night: because everyone has a bad singing voice and that’s what makes it so fun.
And I envy the organizational skills of the heroine. She’s a pro.

I found myself focusing too much on the negative so had to back off and rethink my attitude. It’s a sweet holiday romance.

The Soul Sisters reuniting at Christmastime at breathtaking Cedar Mountain Lodge.
Ahhhh - what more could you want?
One of my favorites from this novel:
“Although we aren’t related by blood...... we’ll always be linked by a bond that transcends time and distance.”
The relationship between these “soul sisters” is one that we all hope to have with friends and family.
Maddie is truly a genuine sweetheart of a mother to these 4 girls who fill her heart with overflowing love.
Jo and Luke’s rekindled and evolving relationship is heartwarming and comforting.
I was hooked from the first page.

“Christmas Wishes” is book 3 in The Series and you will want to grab all 6 of them !

I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for fair and honest review.

Book Three in the series is Jo's story. Jo is a lawyer in Chicago who rarely gets home to spend time with the family that she loves. Jo is a workaholic whose life consists mainly of her job and time spent with foster children. She takes time to go home to her sister's wedding and while she is out walking in the snow, she meets a golden retriever and his owner, Luke, who she knew when she was growing up. He's just left the Army and plans to stay in Cedar Ridge near his family. Jo knows that despite their growing feelings, she has a job in Chicago and long distance relationships are doomed to failure, so she tries not to get too close to him. She isn't sure if the sparks between them are due to the Christmas spirit or if it could be something more. Jo has to make a choice between the financial security of her job and the pull of her heart.

This book was the perfect addition to the Cedar Mountain series. Even though each book is written by a different author, they mesh together perfectly to give the readers happily ever after stories filled with love and family and Christmas.

Wow! Christmas Wishes is another great story in a new Christmas series of Soul Sisters at Cedar Mountain Lodge book 3. I have to say it's beautifully written in a very detailed way that makes you see a whole picture of this beautiful place an people in there.
This book is Jo's tale told from her perspective and though it's the same timespan and the same location it's so different seen through Jo's eyes and heart.
Cozy innocent romance slowly making it's way in to well planned but lonely life of Jo's who has a trust and relying on someone else but her own issues from her past until Luke reconnects with her.
Luke is such a wonderful man and is perfect for Jo.
I adore all the members of Jo's family that is made by heart and soul not blood related. They made an appearances here and there throughout the story and we got glimpses about them as well.
Now I can't wait for another story from this amazing family!

Oh, my melting heart! CHRISTMAS WISHES by Tammy L. Grace, the next book in the multi-author series Soul Sisters at Cedar Mountain series had some big heartbeats to fill and trust me, it was done in the sweetest style!

Jo, the oldest of the orphans who found a forever family with Maddie is now a successful and driven attorney in Chicago, but her sister’s Christmastime wedding has brought her home. To her surprise, a boy from her past is all grown up and there is more than a shared past to her attraction. Can she trust her heart? She is headed back to Chicago and her career, while Luke is firmly planted in Granite Ridge. Should she trust her heart to this amazing man? Could a long distance romance actually work or should she walk away, happy with their brief attraction?

The Holidays, a wedding, coming back to the home of one’s heart and finding romance, what more could one want? Once again, the heart knows what the heart wants and it shouldn’t’ be ignored! Warm, inviting, sweet and romantically sigh-worthy, sometimes there is no place like home…

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Ev Bishop and Tammy L. Grace! This is my honest and voluntary review.

As a tried and true fan of Tammy L. Grace and her other “series novels” I was very excited to hear about her latest project with four other authors to create a series consisting of six Christmas novels called Soul Sisters at Cedar Mountain Lodge! Tammy L. Grace’s contribution to the series is Christmas Wishes.

Christmas Wishes is a sweet story about Jo O’Malley, (one of the soul sisters) who had moved away to Chicago where she has her own life established and is a successful lawyer. She returns to her hometown in Granite Ridge for her little sister’s Christmas Eve wedding. Plans go awry and it seems their world is turned upside down. With the help of an old childhood friend named Luke and his beautiful golden retriever, Jo is reminded what Christmas magic and family are all about.

Tammy L. Grace is a wonderful author and writes stories that obviously come from her heart. She does a wonderful job describing the soft snow and glittering Christmas decorations which made it so vivid in my mind. It is an uplifting story of Christmas hope and sweet romance that will warm your heart, and leave you yearning for the holidays in Granite Ridge!

Thank you to the publisher/author for an advanced review copy of this novel in exchange for my honest review of the book. The thoughts and opinions are completely my own.

I loved this sweet, family-focused story!

Jo is back in her home town for her sister's wedding, and runs into the all-grown-up guy she crushed on fifteen years ago. Now that he's out of the military, Luke is back home to start his own business and reconnect with small-town life. These two hit it off right away, the years just melting away between them. I loved their instant chemistry, and the pacing was just right as Jo has some huge decisions to make before she can give serious thought to a long-term relationship.

I loved the adorable Finn, enjoyed the impromptu snowbound cabin excursion, and I fell in love with Luke almost as quickly as Jo did. I especially appreciated the way everyone came together to help Jo with the necessary details to ensure they got their HEA.

The writing is perfectly timed with that of the previous story, with special attention paid to the overlapping events and timeline. I know how hard it is to get an assortment of authors to craft independent stories that still must mesh so many intricate details, and I couldn't be happier with the way it's working out so far. I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of this series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I am loving this Soul Sisters at Cedar Mountain Lodge series by various authors. Maddie, who lost her husband and daughter to a car crash, decides to take in four foster children for Christmas, with the thought of adopting them. In this book we learn more about adult Jo, the oldest of the adopted girls. It was fun to read about her and her goals, as well as the time she spends helping children in foster care who will soon be on their own. As her goals change, she is excited to begin a new life. These books are so good I have a hard time waiting for the next one, even if it’s not that far away. They are engaging, and while each book is written by a different author, each author writes an interesting and inviting story about one woman. If you love Christmas stories and happily ever after, don’t miss this series.

This book is third in the series and continues to follow the lives of the four sisters of the soul, brought together when Maddie took them in year’s before after the loss of her husband and daughter in a car accident. This installment focused on Jo, the sister who’d ventured from Granite Ridge and finds herself drawn back there by a chance encounter with a boy (now a man) that she knew before she entered the foster care system. The reader gets more of a sense of the bond in this book beginning with the amazing gift Jo has picked out for the woman that changed her life all those years ago. While everyone is at the lodge doing their own thing, she finds moments to share with each of them. Jo’s story is sweet but at the end I wanted more.... can’t wait for everyone to have their happily ever after, though I believe these four girls got that many years ago!

This book can be read as a stand-alone, but I feel as if the first book at least needs to be read to understand where it all began.

I received an ARC of this book for a fair and honest review.

Christmas Wishes is the third book in an anthology of stories by different romance authors. This book centers around Jo, the oldest of the foster sisters. The author, Tammy Grace, is new to me. After reading this book, I plan on reading more of her books. I love her style of writing as well as the characters she writes.

Jo’s character is one of my favorites from the first book. There was nothing that surprised me about Jo’s life with the time jump. She is the kind, successful woman that I knew she would be. Of course, she is missing a few big things to bring complete happiness to her life, but the lodge is the perfect place to find everything she needs.

I love how each of the books in this series focuses on a different member of the family but the setting is the same. It’s interesting to see all of the various events from completely unique perspectives.

I can’t wait to read the next book!

Christmas Wishes is the third book in the multiauthor series, Soul Sisters at Cedar Mountain Lodge. It is the story of Jo, the oldest of the Soul Sisters. I love the premise of this 6 book series. Each book tells the story of one of the adopted soul sisters and their adoptive mom, Maddie. Each book is written by a different author, but they mesh beautifully! What I appreciate the most is that each author goes back to the beginning when the girls first met Maddie, and it catches the readers up beautifully. I honestly can hardly wait until next Thursday when the 4th book in the series goes live. Tammy Grace, the author of Christmas Wishes, wrote a beautiful, engaging novella. I highly recommend the series and especially Christmas Wishes!

Christmas Wishes is the 3rd book in the multiauthor series Soul Sisters at Cedar Mountain Lodge. This series is a wonderful collaboration and each book flows so well with the previous one. I had fun returning to Cedar Mountain Lodge and the characters I’ve met there. This is very well written, has well developed and likable characters that you can’t help but fall in love with. Ms. Grace has written a wonderful story which drew me right in, making me forget everything else and did not let me go until I turned the last page. I did not want to put this book down and read well past my bedtime. I can't wait for the next book in this series to be available! This is such a great series you want to read each book and then when you have them all this is one series you will want to read over and over again it is that good.

This book is the 3rd in a series of novellas by five female authors writing about 4 adopted "soul" sisters and their adoptive mom. In this book, the family gets together for their sister's wedding, which was unfortunately called off. They reunite anyway to support their sister and take some vacation time. This novella is Jo's story. I really liked the pacing of this novella compared to the 2nd, and I appreciated that there was more interaction between the sisters as well. I enjoyed the characters and Finn, the dog. I also really appreciated how Luke helped support Jo in mapping out and achieving her dream of spending more time with her family. Thank you to the publisher and the author for the opportunity to read an Advanced Review Copy. All opinions are my own.

Wonderful story

Wonderful ,lovely story! I enjoyed reading Jo's story ,learning more about her, she's a lovely character who took her experience with foster care to heart and dedicating part of her life to ensure older kids such as herself when she went through the system is getting the help they need.I also love that she gets her own happily wish fulfilled when she meets a friendly golden retriever and old crush from the past. Sweet series, can't wait to read more of this family and see where the rest of the storyline goes for the remaining soul sisters .

Christmas Wishes is book 3 in the Soul Sisters at Cedar Mountain Lodge series. Each book in the series is written by a different author and they all blend perfectly. This time the author is Tammy L. Grace. I am still in love with this Christmas series. In this one the story focuses on Jo as she returns home for her sister’s wedding. Only lots of decisions are to be made and many changes are coming for Jo. While I enjoy all the characters in this series, Jo may be my favorite. A heartwarming series of short stories in time for the Christmas season.

Another wonderful book in the Soul Sisters At Cedar Mountain Lodge series. This is Jo's story and it is written by a different author, Tammy L. Grace, it blends in with the first two.
Jo is an attorney and as I was reading her story, I got an inkling of how the beginning of her life affected her. She made a good life for herself but seemed to have only one friend, Doris, a 70-year-old lady. In this book, there seemed to be what you see and what she tried to bury deep within herself. For that reason, this will be a book a lot of people will relate to. One paragraph in the book stood out for me and that was, We can choose love and happiness and we can stitch together a devoted family by always seeing how valuable each of us truly is. We deserve to be loved and to love. You will have to read the book to see what Jo chooses. I love reading about each one of the soul sisters 15 years later and even when being adopted by Maddie and finding the love of their new family, sometimes there are things that come up years later that you never realized was holding you back from somethings.

I'm happy to be providing an ARC review of Christmas Wishes by Tammy L. Grace. This is the third book in the Soul Sisters at Cedar Mountain Lodge series, uniquely written by five female authors.

Christmas Wishes focuses on sister Jo, who is an attorney living out of state. The challenges from her past have contributed to her workaholic nature and her need for financial independence and stability. Jo returns home for her sister's wedding, but finds so much more and realizes more than ever her need for family, friendship and love. Tammy's book is heartwarming, inspiring and a good reminder to focus on the things that are truly important in our lives.

I received an advanced copy of this book and the comments and review are my honest opinion.
Jo O’Malley has gained a lot of confidence since she entered the door as a foster child at the home of Maddie Kirby. Christmas Wishes is her story. Jo is now a smart, busy career oriented lawyer in Chicago and she is looking forward to returning to Idaho for her sisters wedding. The thought of two weeks in the mountains is just what she needs to unwind and relax, but the unexpected happens. Continuing this wonderful series of Soul Sisters, pick up this book to learn how a career collides with love.

Loved Jo and Luke - sweet clean romance.

This series is definitely sweet, but I really enjoyed this story the most so far. I love friends to lovers although this one is more friends to being in love. Jo and Luke knew each other as young kids and reconnect at Cedar Mountain Lodge.

Each soul sister has their own story to tell, but you will get more out of these books if you read from the beginning. Jo is probably the biggest "outcast" of the group, but it is endearing to see how she comes to realize what is truly important with the help of Luke.

Luke is just perfect in every way! This is just an enjoyable, quick read that will get you in the holiday spirit.

I voluntarily requested and read an advance reader copy.

Lovely Christmas romance

The Soul Sisters at Cedar Mountain Lodge continues with Jo’s story. The premise of these books are so much fun; 4 sisters who were adopted by Maddie 15 years earlier. Jo is now a successful lawyer in Chicago, when she returns home to Idaho for her sister’s wedding. She is reunited with someone from her past—could Luke become her future? Aside from the romance, I love reading about the sisters and their mom—their love and affection are so genuine.

I'M STILL LOVING THIS SERIES! Christmas Wishes by Tammy L Grace is the third book in the Soul Sisters at Cedar Mountain Lodge series. I love all of the books I've read by her so, I expected I would love this one too. I did!

This book is about Jo. She was the oldest girl that Maddy adopted. Again this book starts 15 years after their first Christmas together. We learn about Jo's journey in life and what kind of person she has become. I really like that the books are from the same time when they are at the Cedar Mountain Lodge together but, they have time to themselves and that is where each book becomes different. Plus, the times they have together is told from a different perspective. It is a great premise for a series.

I have fallen in love with each of the characters all over again as adults. Some of the characters from the town weave in and out of the books and you learn a little more of them along the way. If you like to read at least one Christmas story, why not try this series? It is so full of holiday spirit.

I recieved a copy of this book from the author for a fair and honest review. Thank you Tammy. What an awesome opportunity!

This is Jo’s story from the Christmas sisters series. It starts out with Jo’s original story from the Christmas Sisters prologue, then goes to the present, 15 years later. Jo is now an attorney in Chicago and is returning home to Idaho for her sister, Alissa’s wedding. It is a beautiful, heart-warming story sure to bring a smile and maybe a few happy tears. Tammy L. Grace has written another winner in my mind!

Christmas Wishes is a sweet, heartwarming romance. I am really enjoying this multi author series about 4 girls and a foster mom united by love. Jo, the workaholic Chicago attorney, is home and needs to learn to relax. Luke is a gem and the retrievers, especially Finn, are awesome. There is drama but mostly this is a book about family, friendship and love. Once I started reading, I could not put it down!
