A Wonderful Mafia story
This is part of a particular series of Mafia books by Piper Stone, each story stands on its own well enough that I don't think one would have to read the series in order, but well I read the series in order so don't really know. I do know that I really loved this book and I think you would really like it too as long as you like a good Mafia story with dub-con and spankings. This book has a Strong H who takes the h in every way he wants and doesn't hold back. There is a very nice HEA at the end and lots of action in the story. I highly recommend it.

You can’t outrun destiny
This is my first book from this series, but it won’t be my last! The characters are truly fantastic! I love how these two connected, even when it’s the last thing they wanted to do. They both had difficult pasts that shaped them into who they are, and made it easier for them to relate to each other. The storyline was full of struggles, danger, romance and betrayal, and I loved watching the characters grow throughout their journey to the HEA. The author did a fantastic job with this story, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
This is my first book from this series, but it won’t be my last! The characters are truly fantastic! I love how these two connected, even when it’s the last thing they wanted to do. There's light hidden in the dark.
Daunte King and Julieta Morales didn't start out on the best of terms.
He was in South America dealing with the betrayal of her father Carlos. He is a brutal man that controls a large part of South America. The King Crime family have already lost a half million dollars in products and now Daunte is there to deal with the problem and send a message. While there he discovers a stowaway who turned out to be none other than Julieta the daughter of their enemy. She tells him she wants to escape her father because he signed her over to marry a cruel vicious man. He is suspicious and isn't sure that she isn't a plant to get information on his families operations. He was brought up to show no mercy to get information anyway possible to break people. Their first several encounters were definitely nonconsensual yet there was a powerful current pulling them together. You know the saying there's a thin line between love and hate it holds true in their journey. Even though the scenes were at times cringeworthy it was necessary to the storyline and plot of the book. The story was intense, dark, dirty, gritty, dangerous with bloodshed and murder yet there was sweet heartfelt moments, passion, humor, family honor and love. Give this book a read and discover the light hidden in the dark.

He is the fifth of the King brothers and a former Marine hero. Returning to New Orleans he tries to find his place in the family business. It is on a mission to South America to deal with Carlos Morales a crime lord intent on encroaching into the King truf, that he meets Julieta Morales. She is seeking a way to leave South America to get out of an arranged marriage Carlos made to benefit his business. She seeks help from Dante. Thus, their romantic journey begins. Can Dante trust the daughter of their enemy? After living a live under her cruel and domineering father, can Julieta accept entering into a dominant relationship with Dante? How will Carlos Morales retaliate once he realizes his daughter is with Dante? To discover what happens, you must read this book.
Like the other books in his seies, Ms. North does an exceptional job following the basic plot premise of this series. In each installment an alpha crime family brother falls for a strong minded and independent woman in danger. The woman is normally from an enemy’s family. Dante struggles with his loyalty to his family, fighting the demons that haunt him from his military service and his undeniable love for his woman as he wrestles coming to term with his destiny. Ms. North does an outstanding job with her two-prong plotline. One being the character-driven romance and the other being the suspenseful attack by Carlos Morales. Readers witness both lead characters growth. Likewise, her skill in creating conversational and internal dialog is excellent. I found myself drawn into her vivid scenes as though I witnessed each scene as they unfolded as I found myself riveting to their tale.

Kings Demands is the fifth book in the Merciless Kings series. Dante King is youngest brother of the five King boys and the last born son of a powerful, ruthless in the New Orleans. He's a former Marines skilled in weaponry, three different martial arts, and skilled at taking out enemies at long range distance. Dante didn't like the family business and that's one of the reasons why he enlisted. However, he was coerced by the family consigliere to come back home and help out. The King family entered into an arrangement with the Morales Cartel in South America to move their party favors. But they was rip off and the vessels that was supposed to leave Brazil was sitting empty. They had already loss a half million dollars already from the week prior which was unacceptable They know that they were betrayed.
The dictator, Carlos Morales who runs all of South America had allowed the King family to take a small percentage of his business. Carlos Morales is a barbarous, barbaric leader. Dante was was sent to handle the necessary punishment and to find out if he was trying to invade the King's turf in the United States. After taking care of the snitches Dante went back to the safe house but there was someone hiding in the back of his truck. Julieta Morales had snuck in the back of the truck at the cave while Dante was dealing with the betrayal against the family. He thought her father sent her. When she wouldn't give him the answers that he wanted he decided to punish her. Julieta runs from her father because he signed a marriage contract with disgusting and brutal man Casillas Ricardo. She's just pawn in his scheme for more power and he doesn't care about her feelings. She refuses to go along with her father's wishes and needs help. She heard that Dante was coming to South America and thought that maybe he would be her best option to get away from her. However, she didn't know that she was trading one prison for another. Dante punish Julieta with some spanking and non-consensual sex after the he was hook and he had to keep her. She became his possession, his captive, his prey.
Julieta is sassy, hot-blooded, fierce, beautiful, defiant, and hardheaded. She knows how to get under Dante skin and push all his buttons. She wake up something he never knew exists. Dante is focused, broken, gorgeous dark, brooding, sexy, sadist and dangerous. She's light to his darkness. He was the predator, and her captor. Carlos Morales wanted to be the king and took over so he bring the war state side. Julieta and Dante decided to have an arranged marriage to keep Morales at bay but Morales could not bear the thought of his daughter with his enemy so he plan an assault but so did the King family. King's Demands was well written a standalone dark romance that drags you by the seat of your pants. The chemistry between the characters was sexploxives and hot. The sex was so hot, filthy, smutty, and raunchy and I had to get tall glass of ice water to cool off. The story is fast pace with intriguing characters and interconnected characters. It's intense, action packed, dramatic, suspenseful, romantic, humorous, passionate, gritty, dark, and twisted. King's Demands is filled with rivalry, violence, fear, torture, mayhem, abduction, love, betrayal, secrets, revenge, deception, family, new life, retaliations, enemies, rough sex, submission, dominance, hatred, dirty talking, throat play, miracle, guilt, and healing. Dante was so broken and was carrying this tremendous guilt on his shoulder Julieta helped lift this dark cloud out of his life. They were perfect for each other because all her life she was manipulated by her father and Dante offered protection from that. It was beautiful to these two broken souls falling in love.

Another spellbinding book from Piper Stone and book 5 within this series of merciless Kings.
Youngest of the King brothers Dante is in the spotlight for this story.
After coming home from his time in the marines Dante is haunted by the death of his friend while he served.This spurs him on to prove himself to his family that he was worthy of being a KING and he takes on all the dangerous jobs that need to be done....Which takes him to the jungle of South America.
His family have many enemies and the biggest one at the moment was Morales,a south American drug lord he rules all of South America and is determined to rule the Kings territory also.
Greed make a man ruthless even sacrificing his own daughter to a savage cruel unhinged man.
Julieta Morales always knew she was a disappointment to her father because she wasn't another son,and the only way her father thought she would be useful is to marry a man he wanted her to marry.
So to take back control of her future Julieta runs away escaping from the confines of her fathers prison....But she ends up fleeing into the arms of a man who is just as brutal as her father Dante King.
Hiding in his jeep to get away and get an easy ride to America,but she is discovered before she has the chance to even try.
Dante never expects to find a beautiful woman hiding in his Jeep,and when he discovers she is in fact the daughter to his enemy,he decides to take her back home with him.

I listened to the audiobook of Kings Demands and relished in the pleasure of having Thomas Lockclear telling me the story.
I absolutely LOVE listening to Thomas and his narrations this was no different,with his multi talented voice.He is truly a phenomenon playing every single character with each character having a different voice so you can differentiate each one by their voice.He just simply amazes me and is always exceptional.
This is another story that I thoroughly enjoyed from Piper,I love being in this world and I am constantly surprised and intrigued by the lives of this Mafia family.
I become totally engrossed with the plot I just can't stop listening and the male characters are super Alpha and the women super sassy.

Really wanted to hear Dante’s story. Dante is the youngest son of the King empire and I felt he had the most to prove now that he’s returned from service in the Marines. He’s wanting to prove himself to the family and he’s distrustful, brutal and will stop at nothing to protect his mafia family. Julieta slips inside his vehicle when attempting to flea an arranged marriage and her dreadful father, the ruler of the Morales cartel. She hopes Dante will help her escape the country but she may slipped into the wrong saviours vehicle.
These two start off volatile and distrustful of each other yet the attraction is also off the charts when they meet. Piper’s books are gritty, intense, suspenseful and full of sexual tension full of dominating alpha men and feisty women who are not afraid to say what’s on their minds. Julieta has become a pawn for the King family and they hope by arranging a marriage between Dante and her, that it will drive her father mad to bring him out so they can end his terror. Never a dull moment in these books and King’s Demands has it all, you will not be disappointed if you love dark mafia stories full of domination that grows into an intense love affair!
Thomas was made for Piper’s books. Period! This duo is amazing. Piper’s stories are full of compelling characters and Thomas is the ultimate narrator who flawlessly moves from one character to the next, all with distinct voices. These books are not for the faint hearted, there’s lots of sexual tension and acts and there are disclaimers to that affect so it always surprises me when there are neigh sayers who poo poo the books. They are full of heat and these King brothers love deep when they find their wives. Piper’s heroines are fierce and hold their own in serious situations, Julieta was all that and more. These two were meant to take down the Morales cartel and do, all while breaking into each other’s hearts. Great book in an awesome series.

I am kind of sad to see this series end (or could there be one more book about the sister (Angelique)? I was hooked on this series from book 1 (King’s Captive). Each of the brother’s had their own struggles – Dante being no exception. Dante is the brother who left the family to join the Marines. He didn’t want anything to do with the family business. Only things weren’t any better once he went overseas and ended up losing a very good friend. Dante came back to the family and took on more responsibilities since his 4 other brothers had found love. Dante was a dark, dangerous, broken man. He will do anything and everything to protect his family. Julieta is the daughter of Carlos Morales (sort of an Enemy/Alliance) to the King family. She is set to marry a sadistic man from another mafia family and is looking for a way out. Somehow she manages to jump into the jeep that Dante and his men are using while in South America. She is feisty, strong, fierce and tired of being someone’s possession and being used. She wants out bad enough to ask Dante to get her out of South America.
The banter between Dante and Julieta is hilarious. She likes to push his buttons and doesn’t know when to keep her mouth shut. She keeps telling him she can’t stand him and she hates him and she will get her revenge on him, however, her body is betraying her at every turn. The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!

Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
This is book five of the Merciless Kings series it appears each book will read as a standalone however, why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Dante sexy as all get out one of the brothers with his own issues but the one common with each of the brothers, they take what and who he wants, when he wants. He left the family and joined the Marines wanting nothing to do with the family business but after loss of his brothers in arms he back home to help out. Julieta is a pawn in a game placed by men, she is being married off for allegiance between two families (his enemy the Morales family), her father set her up to marry a sadistic and mean man from another mafia family and she wants out of this arranged marriage. Deliciously dark Dante’s jeep became her escape she is strong and doesn’t want to be any one possession or being used and request Daunte to help her. She pushes all the right buttons, and he gives as good as she gets Daunte is the right man for the job. The chemistry is intense, the magnetic pull can’t be ignored between these two but is it enough to keep them together, when her father finds out what will he do, and will they make the marriage last can they find happiness?

“King’s Demand’s: A Dark Mafia Arranged Marriage Romance” is the 5th book in the ‘Merciless Kings’ series by Piper Stone. You do not need to have read the other books in the series in order to understand this one, although familiarity with the various characters does give you more understanding of on-going relationships and situations.
Julieta is the daughter of a South American crime lord. When she’s expected to meekly marry a repugnant man chosen to further her father’s criminal enterprises, she instead decides to stowaway in a vehicle belonging to a visitor to the area, and ends up in the possession of Dante, one of her father’s rivals. Dante is the fifth son in the King family, and the four previous books in this series each feature one of his brothers as the male lead. He himself had walked away from the family business for years and served with honor and distinction in the military. Upon his sudden return home, he stepped immediately back into the ‘family business’ without any apparent hesitation. The story itself is well-done, with multifaceted characters and interesting situations. The enemies-to-lovers status switch is kind of sudden when it happens, and I really would have liked more information about the loss of Dante’s best friend in the military. However, I did find this book to be a quick and entertaining read that held my attention. I’ve enjoyed the whole series and I’m really looking forward to a story about Dante’s sister, Angelique.

Julieta is the daughter of a South American crime lord. Dante’s story is booked #5 of the Merciless Kings Series, the final book of the series about the youngest King son. Dante and his team are in Brazil checking on their land, diamond mines and etc when trouble rises and they are compromised and have to flee from the country as fast as possible from the throws of the raining Dictator of all of South America Carlos Morales an extremely heartless merciless man who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Nothing! Dante and his Capo find hiding in his Jeep a beautiful woman, Julieta a very strong willed, very determined, very vocal, not afraid to fight for what she wants and believes in and just happens to be the only daughter of Carlos Morales who wants to escape to America to get away from her fathers arranged marriage which she refuses to comply with. Dante being just back from Afghanistan losing his best friend to war and being haunted by not being able to go to his best friends widow to deliver his friends last words to her have turned him into an angry, spiteful, vengeful, violent man. Julieta ends up in Dante’s custody and completely under his control. Each of them are trying to figure each other out as they are dealing with the threats, attacks, violence, brutality, deceit, and fear of her father. You are absolutely not going to want to set this down until you get to the end. This is non-stop action, cartels, brutality, suspense, betrayal but you also have discipline, conflict, accusations, steamy steamy scenes, family drama. A Page turner for sure! This was an excellent series even with the darkness. One of my absolute favorite authors. If this is a genre you read. You won’t be disappointed. Escaping the Devil
This story is all about a woman who's father is an very bad man, she is desperate to escape to freedom but is even willing to marry to escape. In that escape she meets another bad man who falls in love with her and takes her to freedom then offers her a family that's more loving . its a good story. There is one thing with this series, the guys and their ladies all seem very simular in how they treat each other... All are bad bad men who force their women to submit... that's A good set up for a few but by book 5 it just seems maybe one would find a bit of humour a playful Domme, or a Thief who is well not a victim but a partner who demands hard sex whips and chains... Surely its possible to use imagination especially in a series and bring a completely different approach . This series had a biker singer, A school teacher nanny, A south American Crime bosses daughter, A witness, A diamond dealers daughter, so far those are thE females... The biker singer, and the drug cartel daughter both could have been much more interesting with the females being more demanding. I will admit this book has bits where she kinda is tough but then her guy saves her... I was so hoping she was gonna save herself at the bar, and in the house when her father attacks her, But no... He finds her in an alley having a panic attack at the bar, and he shoots her dad in the house... Oh well I usually like Piper Stone but hardly ever in this series do her females get to be very strong... I hope the last story will be slightly different as the King is a daughter but her guy is a strong character too.

This book can be read as a standalone. There were vague references to things that happened in earlier books, but nothing that would prevent someone from being able to follow this book.
Another forced marriage in the King family, which was no real surprise. The interesting part was the battle of wits between the King family and Morales. There was lots of action in this book.
There were moments of emotional distress, hurt, anger, pain, and frustration as well as love of family. At the same time, this was definitely a dark "romance" with no consent at the beginning, as well as unpleasant to put it nicely. This one made me cringe. Dante was brutal with Julieta and somehow they fell in love.
My rating has more to do with the business interactions between the King's and Morales, the game of cat and mouse, and the retaliation. I would give that 3.5 stars. The back and forth between Julieta and Dante went on too long, and the relationship wasn't that interesting. I thought this could have been a few chapters shorter.
I would like to see if Angelique and Dimitri end up together.

Love this series. Merciless Kings is very well-written, addictive and it's one of the more scalding dark mafia romance series. Daunte is the youngest of the five King brothers; he is utterly sinful, brutal, lethal, distrustful, ruthless, and controlling. Stone's heroines are strong-willed, defiant, tenacious, stubborn, and Julieta Morales is no exception. Julieta escaped her father and a fate with a terrible man, Casillas Ricardo, only to fall into Daunte, a sadist's hands. Daunte is determined and demands absolute obedience from his new bride. In the beginning, Daunte is forceful with Julieta; she becomes his captive and pawn. Even so, their connection was explosive, and the pull to each other is undeniable. Daunte and Julieta's story is dark, intense, gritty, super-steamy, wrapped in suspense, danger, drama, unexpected twists and turns.
Stellar narration Thomas Locklear. Can't imagine anyone else but Locklear as the Kings. He embodies the characters and portrays them flawlessly while breathing life in Stone's words. He definitely made the story more engaging. Kind's Demand is a fantastic dark mafia romance and so worth the listen, one I'm highly recommending.

I really enjoyed this book. There was a lot of action as you would expect in a mafia style story, but plenty of romance and angst to keep it balanced. As expected it was written really well by this author, there were points where i was definitely on the edge of my seat. The MMC Dante was very serious and played his tough role very well, i did enjoy it when the MFC Julieta challenged him and refused to cooperate! The only thing that let this down for me really was that their 'love' for each other seemed to come out of nowhere, one minute they were arguing with Julieta wanting her freedom and the next they declared how much they loved each other. I suppose i would have liked to see this develop a bit more. This didn't ruin the plot for me at all though and id love to see Piper do more Mafia romance!

Oh Dante
Who knew Dante could be so possessive. I thought for sure since he didn't want to be part of the family business at first he would be different from his brother's. Boy was I wrong he was a hot alpha and possessive. And damn the dirty talk. Julieta was an awesome h! I loved her strong will but also her inner softness and the need to just be rescued. Not only was the book naughty and sexy the plot was to die for. Like all of Piper's books they keep you on your toes waiting to see what happens next. This book I think was more special because we got to see how the other characters from the other books were doing. While reading this book you will be so into the plot yet your heart will also be breaking for one of the past characters. It was so freaking awesome. Probably my fave book of the series!

King's Demands is a story involving two powerful families that do not hesitate to take what they want or invoke violence against betrayal. Dante King has caught the daughter of his enemy hiding in his vehicle and plans to marry her to thwart his enemy. Dante didn't want to be a part of the family business. But after returning from military service, he came back a different man. Now he will do whatever necessary to protect the family and harden himself to others. After recognizing the ruthlessness of her father and that he cares for nothing but more power, Julieta escapes one restricted life into another. I loved seeing the softer side of Dante as he grew to love Julieta and the love he had for his extended family. Good story with plenty of suspense that keeps you interested until the end.

This book brings us Dante King and Julieta Morales. Julieta stows away with Dante to escape her horrible father Carlos, who is a horrible man. Dante is there to find out how their shipments keep on missing, costing them over a half million dollars. Once Dante discovers that Carlos has signed over his daughter to marry a despicable man, he decides to marry her instead . While this is something he thought he'd never do, he will use her to find out any information he can. Dante's main reason is to break Julieta, but there is some kind of chemistry at work there also. While some of the things he does to Julieta made my skin crawl, they were an important part to this story. This was a great read and I do recommend it. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

Well-written story with lots of drama, suspense, action, danger, adventure, struggles, betrayal, revenge, dark themes, hurt, revenge, fear, honor, romance, passion and finally love. Julieta has been used to merge two Mafia families together. She hates who her father is "selling" her too. She jumps into a vehicle and Dante finds Julieta hiding in his car. Dante decides that he will marry Julieta for revenge against her family and her will make sure she knows who her master is. Like all the "king" stories Dante find that he is starting to care for Julieta. They do have bumps in the relationship but they also learn to give and take. They have some major steamy scenes. Talk about STEAMY! Oh lordy this woman is going to knock you out! This series is absolutely wonderful! I love these characters and their stories! Oh My Gosh what can I say that has not already been said? Honestly this is a wonderful series and this book is the topping on an already full plate, it just get better and better with every book! this deserves more than the 5 stars listed here! Miss Stone brings the heat, the feel, the emotion, and the passion full force! Get this book you will enjoy it and I know it will be a treat best served cold that way it will heat you from the inside out! Trust me this book is a good kind of naughty and one you will welcome on your shelf to reread.

I have read all the the books in this series and loved each and every one. This is the youngest brother’s story. Dante, the one who didn’t want anything to do with family business, joined the Marines and served his country. He’s back now, and thinks he wants more power in the family. When in South America on business, he finds a stowaway in his Jeep. Julieta Morales, the daughter of his families enemy Carlos Morales. An awesome storyline with plenty of danger, suspense, steamy romance, power exchange, passion and a deep connection that grows between two tortured souls. I would love the see Angelique and Dimitri get their story. Loved this whole series. ,

Dark chapter of the Merciless Kings. Dante is the youngest King brother who has just returned from the Marine Corps to take up his role in the Mafia family. In South America to settle a problem with a shipment involving the rival Morales family, he encounters Julieta hiding in his jeep hoping for a way out of the country to escape a marriage arranged by his father. Under fire Dante takes Julieta along and saves her life when the sabotaged plane crashes. Both feel atracted to the other, but deny it even during hot wild sex. Lots of sex, some with questionable concent. Enemies eventually turn the dark sex into something more. I liked mouthy untamed Julieta and gorgeous dominant Dante. Really good book in a great series!

Julieta is trying to escape from her father, Carlos Morales. Dante has recently returned from the military and he is the one who has been tasked with running the business while his brothers are busy with their lives. He discovers Julieta in his jeep while in South America and he decides that he is going to keep her, after teaching her a lesson in discipline. Julieta and Dante do have a HEA and their journey there is fascinating. There is strict discipline in this book, which starts out non-consensual. I enjoyed reading about Dante and I can't wait for Angelique's story!

Dante is part of the King mafia family. He and his brothers are very powerful and each dominant. The ex soldier was reluctant to join the family business, but headed to South America just the same. Once business is taken care of, he's leaving hurriedly when he discovers a stow away, their nemesis' runaway daughter. Julieta hides in their car because her escape is imperative or she will die. Can Dante trust her? Probably not, but he will use her to lure her father. She will learn and behave or her bottom will pay for it. Yummy, as usual.

Although the beginning is a non con encounter which makes me cringe, I ended up loving this book. There are sweet moments such as dinner with Michael and the twins, and Christian and his twins and Dante’s fathers words in the church, but most of the story is raw and intense but delicious at the same time. There is a lot of action and death but the outcome is good for the King family and Dante comes to terms with his demons. Juliette is feisty and strong but also sexy and loving and just what Dante needs. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
