Turtle Tales

Turtle Tales is the story of three loggerhead turtle hatchlings and the challenges they face as they grow to adulthood. During those first 20 or so years they will travel from their natal beach in Venice, Florida around the Florida Keys and across the Atlantic Ocean to the Canary Islands and return. Tony Tucker,Ph.D., director of the Sea Turtle Conservation and Research Program at Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, cheked the story for scientific accuracy and wrote a statement attesting to that for the back cover. Turtle Tales is entertaining and educational, fully illustrated in color by the author. It is especially suited for children in third, fourth and fifth grades.
