His lips pulled back in that grin she knew all too well. With one finger pressed to his lips, he whispered, "It'll be our little secret. No one can know just how much I love you, Brandy. No one."

Years after his death, her father's words still haunt Brandy's every waking moment. She cannot escape him.

A dark basement, a hooded figure with a leering grin...

No one believes her, but Brandy knows it's him. Her father. And he's back to remind her exactly who she belongs to.

I wasn't quite expecting to love this book. But it made me think of things I hadn't thought of before. Afterlife always something you think about in a good way. Guess I never thought about an evil person more than to think ghosts. This is so far from that.

Pandora's box opened again.

Dark, creepy and possibly not for the fainthearted. A quick read which kept me searching for the answer to Brandy's predicament. Great storyline.

Incredible read! Dark and intense read that I really enjoyed right from the start to the very end. Read it twice in a weekend and the author did a fantastic job with this book.

Am I a huge fan of novellas now ? yes. Is Stacey Broadbent the leading reason for why I love novellas ? absolutely, yes. Stacey has done it again with another entertaining novella ! "Mine" is the second book in Stacey's Dark Sins novella series. This one follows Brandy, who is haunted by her abusive father, and he has somehow returned from the dead. The book comes with a warning "not for the faint of heart." I am the faint of heart, so I dove in shaking a little in fear. but OH BOY, I did not expect to be gripping each page with anticipation. This was a thriller with a plot twist that I am happy I couldn't guess. My tastes are not usually drawn to dark fiction, but I can say a softie like me found great enjoyment in this read without getting too scared. looking forward to seeing what comes next in this series
