Melyta is mine now. My mate. My wife. Bearing my name, with my mark on her neck. The symbol of my possession, my obsession, tattooed on her skin forever.
But it's not over. In the Dalax City Vostra, nothing ever is. And what I did to claim her can only be repaid in blood.
Our enemies are closing in, ready to do whatever they can to hurt us. They're going to find out just how far I'll go to protect the woman I love.
I'm going to run this city. With my mate at my side.
Kept is a full-length romance novel set in a dark sci-fi universe. It contains knotting, heats, and a rough, possessive antihero. This is book 2 in a trilogy following the same couple.
Hi! I'm Luna Voss, and I have the best job in the world: turning all the dirty fantasies in my head into even dirtier novels for you to read. If you like dominant, possessive heroes, dark mafia men, 7-foot aliens, or any combo of the above, you might be in the right place.
The sex became redundant for lack of dialogue and other events. The idea that Barton could take down the leader with such an ill advised and thinly concocted plan was disappointing.
The sequel in this trilogy I must say this one was a very nice story line showing the romantic loving relationship that Barton and Mel have together. Then towards the end we get back to the main story line about the boss and underboss’s war between them…. They hit Sal put out on them and them trying to escape and survive…… I’ve read the series non stop so far and can’t wait to read the third book in this series I hate it will be the last 😭😭😭😢😢 I wish it wasn’t I wish there was more one about Kavor & Jen I was hoping they were fated mate….
Okay/good read. I love the action. I started to give this 3 1/2 ⭐️s. Melyta is a hot mess. I think the woman loves getting her butt spanked. She is a little annoying. And I hate to say it but Barion is kind of a wimp when it comes to her. But the action is why I will read the next book. I really want to know how all this ends.
It was an okay continuation of the 1st book, it did become repetitive with the rebel, and punishment which is now basically all they ever do. There's no relationship building in the book unless you add in the heroine finally liking the punishment and doing things to actively gain that reaction... maybe.
This did not need to be a book 😭😂😂 This is just a filler with them on vacation and then the fighting with the current leader. Where this book ended is where it should've started. This series could easily be a two book series. Plus all the mating doing the same stuff over and over and Barion not having a proper plan and doing the most obvious things and not expecting the leader to not realize 😭
In this book, we see that love can almost triumph over all 😉. But, unfortunately it doesn't work and our heroes have to run, for now 😊. Thanks again Luna, I'm looking forward to reading more of this series 🤓.
It was just ok. The sex was copy and paste, and I had to set it down multiple times because the overuse of the term “punishment hole”. Barion ‘s plan wasn’t thought out well at all and it just left me wanting more.
