Seaside Countdown is an educational book for young readers. The author incorporates various learning tools into the story of little Ann at the sea like numbers and colors. The book moves through numbers ten through one as Ann discovers new creatures within the sea. These creatures also have respective colors to help readers interact with the book even more. This book is an educational experience for Ann at the sea, and the book even has educational material about each sea creature at the back. Get ready to discover new sea creatures and enhance color and counting skills!

Opinion:
Seaside Countdown is a prime book for young readers because it not only incorporates a fun story with a little girl as the main character, but it also invites readers to use their counting skills to find certain colored creatures. This book also includes detailed information on each sea creature at the end of the story, so the young readers can learn even more! Whether this book is read before heading off to bed or in a classroom setting, parents, teachers, and readers will not be disappointed with Seaside Countdown.

This is the perfect type of book for my 2 year old daughter. She loves books like this where you search for things on the page and try to count how many you can find. We have been reading this book over and over. My son who is 6 also loves the book but more so for the back of the book with the full images of the real creatures and all their fun facts. He loves animal facts. This book truly is one of the better, more engaging books I have purchased. My kids love counting and finding everything on the page. There’s a bunch of details on each page to look for additional things. You could treat it as a search-and-find book if you wanted to. This would make a perfect addition to a young classroom with all of the learning about animals in the back of the book.
