Wow! God used both versions of this book to show me how serious He is about keeping His covenant to Abraham and His descendants [Israel] about the Promise Holy Land of Israel. (Genesis 12:3) God deals hard with those who divide up the land of Israel - case-in-point: Britain. Used to be called Great Britain with the motto: 'The sun never sets on Great Britain.' Now - Britain's not that great. What happened? The Balfour Agreement - around 1922, James Balfour took a large part of what was promised to the Jews from them and gave it to Arabs. A majority of the population of Great Britain didn't care enough or recognize the significance of that decision, and now Britain is spiritually dead and over-run with Muslims and immoral lifestyles of all kinds. There is still hope for our nation. Notice the key events: behind every storm, flood, drought, etc, there is a purpose. God tries to get our attention through those as He did with Israel in the Old Testament. In this book, William Koenig, a Christian who cares about Israel and this country, points out the timing and events of our government putting wrong pressure on Israel and our nation experiencing times of trouble - weather, economic, etc... I highly recommend it. It will help you to know how to watch and pray for our country effectively!

Intriguing. Bill Koenig has gone back through history and looked at what happens in America when America does something to Israel or about Israel. When the world " messes " with Israel bad things happen.
Example : Like right now. October 7th 2023 was a tragedy. Attempted Genocide of the Jewish people.
After October 7th when the Israeli people were attacked, killed, slaughtered by Hamas whose very name means "Violence" I went looking for information about the attack.
I looked for photos. All I could find from the compromised media online were pictures, old photos, faked photo shopped photos of Hamas Propaganda. Photos of Hamas wounded & bleeding, Hamas persons dying. No one of Hamas died that day. But this is the propaganda that was being shown,. Hamas murdered these men, women & children, unborn babies and even the pets & animals in Israel. Hamas kidnapped many Israeli's & held them as hostages. Raped the women daily, and murdered them afterwards.
The only place I could find any photos at all was on Telegram or Israeli news, or the body cam photos the Israeli soldiers were wearing.
Bill Koenig says in this book if you break Gods laws in Genesis & Deuteronomy there will be repercussions. Storms, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, will happen.
Weather will happen if you touch the Apple of Gods Eyes: Israel.
God has very specific instructions about Israel.
Stand with Israel & you will be fine. Go against Israel & there will be judgment. America has gone against Israel with this administration.
We have had 1 tornado where I live, no one warned us it was coming, 1 hurricane Beryl recently, and another hurricane is hovering in the Atlantic or in the Gulf of Mexico right now.
I wish someone would wake up & realize, its not ok to mess with Israel. Ever. Don't do it because when you mess with Israel you are messing with God Himself.
Its a good book Bill Koenig. Its time to read it again, I think.

December 17, 2023I believe this constant wanting to make Israel a "Palestinian" state will NEVER happen....as it shouldn't! Why America is constantly trying to get involved in this so called PEACE issue between Israel and Palestine and convincing that to get peace Israel needs to give up their land is beyond me.
When it comes to the Palestinians there will never be peace. That is not in their cards to be peaceful so let it go!

Excellent!
Want to understand more about the history of Israel and America regarding the peace deals? This book shows the many disasters in America because of our government’s policy of “land for peace” regarding peace in the Middle East. Mr. Koenig does an excellent job of showing us why we are under God’s judgment. I am excited to subscribe to his newsletter and see the more recent information he has available on all that is happening today.

Very interesting. Not easy to read. It's like a documentary in a book. I wish it had been in sequential order. Sometimes it would go back and forth between years and could get confusing. But very interesting to see how our relationship with Israel affects disasters here or other places.

I read the original edition of this book in paper several years ago and found it interesting and quite "hmmmm"-worthy. The author offered a cogent argument for his hypotheses. This update (I read only the digital version of the update) appears to have been rushed into production to catch the wave of interest in natural disasters in the summer/fall of 2017. The book is VERY MUCH in need of a good editor. There are spelling errors and formatting errors plenty, sometimes to the detriment of understanding the intention of the text. In at least one instance, a block of text from the middle of a paragraph is duplicated and inserted in the middle of a sentence. The book is disorganized and repetitive. The cogency from the original edition appears to be altogether missing in the new edition. Errors aside, many of the connections made in the update seem tenuous at best. I would have given the original 4 stars and this 1 star, so I'll settle for 2 for the update.

Spooky how close the causes & effects are! I never thought about these events being caused by anything while they were happening (Hurricane Andrew of 1992 - Hurricane Katrina of 2005).
It does read more like a news story at times, though. But it makes me think about how God can use disasters to get our attention about something.

This is a really interesting read and shows some very interesting parallels between the middle east peace process and natural disasters etc. Also good background info and the 242 & 338 initiatives as well as copies of the letters to President Bush and his responses to Mr. Koenig.

I was torn between 4 and a 5 star rating. This book boys down with presidental speeches sometimes, but the idea of facing severe consequences when a world leader, (like our President), tries that divide Is real is worth much consideration.

Don't mess with Israel!
This book is a very detailed account of what has happened to the United States of America, every time the messed with God's Covenant for her. Covenants are not to be broken.

A poorly written book, which while doing a poor job of explaining its theme, does manage to show the disastrous consequences to the U.S. every time we have (officially, governmentally) promoted the division of Israel.
