Ada Martí: Un grito en la noche es un libro que Abel Paz –seudónimo de Diego Camacho Escámez– tuvo en preparación durante mucho tiempo y no pudo publicar en vida, y que aparece ahora con el título Ada Martí. Una mujer anarquista (Ensayo biográfico). Ada fue para Diego todo un mito. Joven, atractiva tanto intelec­tual como personalmente, miembro de la Federación Estudiantil de Conciencias Libres (FECL), representaba el prototipo de mujer libertaria intelectual, como lo fueran Concha Liaño y Soledad Estorach de la mujer libertaria popular, mitos que le acompañaron toda su vida. Además del texto biográfico, incluye como apéndice una entrevista a José del Amo y el testimonio de Antonio Pérez González, que formó parte del grupo originario de la FECL. Completan esta edición una colección de fotografías y documentos que repasan la trayectoria vital de Ada Martí, algunas notas explicativas a pie de página y varios artículos.

Abel Paz was a Spanish anarchist, former combatant and historian.

Abel Paz was the pen name of Diego Camacho. He was born in Almería in 1921, and moved with his family to Barcelona in 1929. In 1935 he started work in the textile industry and joined the Confederación Nacional del Trabajo (CNT).

During the Spanish Civil War and Spanish revolution he fought in the Barcelona May Events of 1937.

After the fall of Catalonia in January 1939, he went into exile in France, where he was interned. During the 1940s he fought both in the French resistance to Hitler and the Spanish Anarchist resistance to Franco.

He was the author of numerous works on anarchist history, the most important being his biography of Buenaventura Durruti which has appeared in several editions, and numerous languages.
