Kite Selby is a private detective. The year is 1968, New York, Manhattan. One day, he receives a worried young lady that hires him to investigate a missing person case which happened to be her best friend, a young physics teacher from a local university. Starting to investigate the case, he runs into a thrilling adventure that turns his simple and casual world into a larger and greater plot, finding himself suddenly on the "Complex", a scientific hub ran by a few benevolent alien races, who aim for the better of humanity.

In a few words, the main two characters of this series run into adventure, romance, and mystery, that blend together in a coordinated quest to better humanity.
