People Skins Volume I presents five tales of unsettling fantasy and subtle horror that peer into humanity’s twisted heart.
“The Lonely Ocean” – Meredith’s family drag her to rain-lashed Drumgorm on the West coast of Ireland for the summer. Worst holiday ever. And that’s before she uncovers the secretive town’s dark relationship with the ocean.
“With A Woman In It” – In this adult fairy tale, the dwarf Tugbeard is gifted a beautiful dress with which to capture a bride. Whether he wants one or not.
“Teethgrinder” – When Sean cracks a tooth before rehearsals, he needs a dentist. Nobody makes it in Hollywood with bad teeth. Oh yes, and the pain is awful. His dentist, however, has other needs.
“Egghead” – The hero of this nasty horror story slurps when he eats. But that’s not the most disgusting bit...
“One Last Look” – When Wilfred’s memory starts to go, his wife insists they revisit all their old haunts together, before it’s too late. Then she mysteriously disappears, leaving him all alone in the imposing Hotel Sacher Wien.

Morgan Delaney is an Irish writer of dark, strange, and fantastic fiction, some of which has appeared in Not One Of Us, ParSec Magazine, and Fraidy Cat Quarterly.
He reads peculiar bedtime stories on his YouTube channel.
If reincarnation were a thing, he would come back as a lizard. His best friends say it is. And he did.
Morgan has a weird imagination which suits me because I’m considered a bit of a weird person so his stories and flights of fancy appeal to me. If you consider yourself a little weird they will appeal to you too, even even if you don’t consider yourself a little weird (and aren’t we all a little really) then by the time you’ve read them you may actually find that you too are in fact just maybe a little weird. Go ahead read and see.
Most of the stories are good but there were a couple I didn’t care for. There’s not enough of any of them to utilize character development but the actions certainly keep the reader’s attention.
