It doesn't take a magic lamp to make your world a prison... Actor Wyatt Hartford should be living on top of the world. He has an Oscar on his shelf, a multi-million dollar mansion in the Hills, and he's engaged to the most beautiful actress out there. But the only person who can draw a smile from him is the love of his life, Aladdin. But Aladdin's in love with another man, one with a strange fetish for genie cosplay and a strong belief in remaining in the closet. Wyatt's life is turned upside down when the fiancee he doesn't love is kidnapped, and he's given an ultimatum: Steal the so-called "magic lamp" that Aladdin's lover, Jensen, never allows to leave his side or watch the woman die. It's a task he's pretty sure will take magic to to achieve--or possibly just an internship at Jensen's film production company will do. But what happens when Wyatt discovers just how magical that lamp really is? NOTE: This is a DARK M/M urban fantasy paranormal romance. It is filled with adventure, romance, and laughter, but also contains violence and explicit intercourse.

"If I’d had three wishes, two would have been you. And the last? That you’d both love me forever.”

Well this was so much better than the first book. Actually would have been 5 stars if not for things like Jensen's crazy inability to accept his sexuality - I get where it came from but he'd been around a long, long time. He was surrounded by other men loving men. Oh and one scene with Wyatt and Aladdin where they do the deed with no prep and a modified appendage, ouch. There is a BDSM thing going on and some dub-con and off page non-con. Though despite these things and the slavery aspect of Jensen's and Aladdin's relationship, it isn't too heavy in tone

There's a lot going on but it was fun. Lots of crazy stunts and a smattering of sexy. Merlin's book was set up quite subtley

Creative, magical with a touch of a dark plot.  I enjoyed most of the story and though I was confused at some junctures, I found it an enjoyable read.

This is an incredibly complex paranormal universe, filled with lots of unusual characters from vampires, wizards, and jinns.

Wyatt, Aladdin and Jensen are interesting characters and have quite the dynamic.

This is book 2 of Hollywood Creatures and several reviews have suggested reading book one helped with understanding book two.  So i would follow that recommendation, because I felt a bit lost in some parts of this book because I didn't read book one.

I  was gifted this book from Gay Romance Reviews and i freely give my honest opinion and review

Let's start this review with a TRIGGER WARNING in relation to the date rape depicted within the book. It is contextual but not consensual and never ok. If it happens to you it should be reported. Please remember that this is a work of fiction set in a non-existent world your life is real and not to be played with!!!

Well this is definitely a Disney version of Aladdin and his lamp although there are some blue sparkles if you're looking for them!

Author Skylar Sweeney is on to a winner with this series of paranormal Hollywood based stories and I just love them. This book particularly has everything a reader could want to see in a book from giggles to snark, wolves to dinosaurs, pink wigs to comfy ballet flats, hags to demons, gold facial jewellery to gaudy neck chains, a Jacob's Ladder to lycra pants, a gold Hummer to a bedroom train, a crazed fan to a cool barista, the garden of Eden and the gates of Hell and you might even find a kitchen sink!

I loved that SS has created this amazing world for the characters to live in. There are obviously three main characters in our MMM story in this, book two of the series. Each of them are just a little different but together create an amazing whole D/d/s dynamic that sizzles and burns and loves deliciously. They are supported by the ensemble cast that we met book one and who have returned with a vengeance; however without them the book would fall apart. This is definitely a series that needs everyone in it together. Even the baddies this time round are perfectly despicable.

This is just a must read, after you've read Broken Fangs. Add it to your kindle today xx

I received a copy of this book from the author and provide my honest review voluntarily.

The world building in this novel, and the series as a whole, is fantastic: an intricate paranormal universe, populated by memorable characters (werewolves, vampires, hags, jinns, wizards of Arthurian legend) who’ve adapted to a modern world, Hollywood style—it’s impossible to to be drawn in. There’s an undertone (sometimes an explicit tone) of humor and snark that runs through the dialog. There are also some dark themes and moments— Jensen and Aladdin’s relationship is bound up in ownership of a literal kind, but overall the balance the novel strikes between the mesmerizing, the absurd, and the shady makes for a compelling read. I like the dynamic that the three main characters manage to establish for themselves: Wyatt, Aladdin, and Jensen each bring something unique to the table, and together, they just fit— in terms of both steam and feelings.

As a final note: while not strictly necessary, it’s a good idea (and a fun one) to have read the first book in this series, Broken Fangs, before this one, as it offers some context and background for some of the characters.

*I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Wyatt Hartford is a successful actor with an Oscar, a fiancé and a beautiful mansion. All he really wants, though, is Aladdin, a man he met briefly. Unfortunately, Aladdin is with a man who is rude and obnoxious. Then Wyatt finds himself needing Aladdin and his master, Jensen. His fiancé has been kidnapped and he must get Jensen’s “magic lamp” or his fiancé will die piece by piece. Wyatt was not In The Know about magic and paranormals and Aladdin and Jensen were just that, a modern version of genies and lamps. Wyatt finds himself caught in the middle and with no clue what to do next.

These three were amazing together. Each unique, Wyatt was modern and could be very crass and disrespectful. Jensen wanted things his way while Aladdin was his slave. Somehow it worked for all of them. First though they had to survive the machinations of an unknown enemy. With some twists and turns, the plot keeps us engrossed in the reading. This is the second book in Hollywood Creatures series and it just keeps getting better. You do not need to read the first book but who would want to miss it? I love this series and hope there are many more.

Can we have trust without forgiveness? Wyatt has reached the pinnacle of success. He's engaged to a beautiful woman. H is superficially happy and he's deep in the closet. He is deeply, infinitely in love with Aladdin who loves Jensen. His fiancee is kidnapped and the ransom is Jensen's 'magic lamp'. We're still dealing with the collection of paras and magical beings introduced in the first story. They are still as exciting, intriguing, worrisome, sexy mesmerizing, confusing, exasperating and funny as the previous story. Lots of questionable consent activities, role switching and deep closeting. Do any of the guys tell the other what they want, what they need? Do we find forgiveness or redemption? Does Wyatt get the lamp? Does Aladdin reciprocate? Does Wyatt need to give up on loving Aladdin? Nothing seems to be as it seems. Good story. I received na ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review.  One more wish!  What fool's to think they can have more from a trickster, Aladdin was to greedy in his lust to realize the mistake or truth behind the Jinn's words until it was to late.  Fast forward in time Aladdin has a new title. Wyatt had no idea just what forces he was about to be throwni nto when meeting Aladdin and his boss Jensen. After all the powerful Jinn S'yun broke one naughty Prince what was an entitled movie star. Such amazing and creativity characters this book has it all a dreaded drama and adventure packed to the brim with all sides of heat.
Just saying I so need these shows in my life that Wyatt is name dropping, because I so would watch Bottled, just for the whole genie helper that that other tv show that I is similar.

Again, read the warnings at the beginning of this book and you’ll most likely want to read the first book as they’re connected. I would say be careful what you wish for, but I would most definitely risk all the wishes for Jensen, Aladdin and Wyatt. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It had suspense, drama, heart, action, twists and all of it set in this crazy but wonderful magical world. It was so much fun to read and the romance between the men was both heartbreaking and touching. “If I’d had three wishes, two would have been you. And the last? That you’d both love me forever.” Sigh, it was a hard-fought love—some more than others—but when these three are in, they’re all in. And so am I.

I am amazed at the creativity of this author to ever think of combining all these elements the way this series is doing. You just can't help but smile even as you are getting totally caught up in the plot and falling in love with the characters. Wyatt gets the love(s) of his life in an unbelievable way here as he's drawn into a kidnapping, attempted theft of a lamp, a romance with Aladdin and Aladdin's friend who is very attached to said lamp (wonder why that could be?) and trying to figure out how to deal with a fiancee he isn't really in love with. Settle in for a wild ride and some wonderfully steamy times. Cannot wait to be surprised by the next entry in this series.

I feel soo sorry for Jensen. His whole life hes been hurt/betrayed by those he cared for.If he hadnt been trapped by his superiors, he would never have met Aladdin or eventually Wyatt.

Wyatt is completely human, surrounded by creatures and flying blind into situations he shouldnt be involved in. Yet he cant help falling for Aladdin, maybe he would have fallen for him without a spell. Jensen grows on him too.

Aladdin is in love with Jensen and understands why he is how he is, yet he wants more from him. Hes drawn to Wyatt also, though how much is due to the spell!?

Its nice to catch up with Rick and Gus in this story also

I love m/m books but throw in another sexy male in the mix and he is a jinn?

That is the reason I could not resist the temptation to read this book!

Skylar Sweeney takes you on a magical carpet ride into other realms with sexy men who can't keep their hands off each other and psychotic witches and jinns to give it the angst factor!

A sexy growly (possesive in the closet) jinn, a gorgeous prince slave and a naked hearthrob of a movie star (on a dare) walks into a coffee shop.......

Loved it!

uneven

Some funny scenes with a bit of a hand-wavey plot weaving it all together. (For two novels, people have been trying and succeeding in binding the Most Powerful Being—I’d have a complex.)

Several times I put this book down and was afraid to keep reading, because I thought I knew how it would end. I was wrong: Nothing turned out as expected, plans go wrong, and people have to make up new plans on the fly.

The characters are complex, sweet, loving and all a little dumb in different ways.

I do love the world this is set in. Combined with Hollywood, you can't go wrong. Aladdin and Wyatt are locked in a dark magic love spell mistakenly. Jensen, a Jinn, denies to everyone he is gay but obviously loves and hungers for Aladdin, his slave. An interesting twist on the story of Aladdin's lamp and all three men join together to form a unit and sexual trio. I was glad to see Rick, Gus and Merlin back and some hints at the third book. I really enjoy this series. I received a copy of this book and this is my voluntary opinion.

Jensen, Wyatt and Aladdin story was interesting with a dose of danger.
The story had funny moments but also frustrating ones when the characters fail to see the important things and that leads to betrayal and lots of hurt.
Their past is an obstacle in developing a trusting and healthy relationship which leads to the bad decisions the makes them grow apart.
They have a long journey to learn to trust in each other, to believe they deserve happiness and to see the important things that matter in a relationship.

I was sent this book as an ARC read in exchange for an honest review.
I have been a huge fan of MM for several months now and to add to the mix with MMM was a treat I could only wish for. This is the first book by Skylar Sweeney and it definitely won't be the last. The story line and the characters captured me right from page one and I had trouble putting it down. I definitely won't be hesitant about reading any more books with multiple male partners.
Highly recommended read.

I enjoyed this take on the Aladdin and Genie tale. It was an interesting twist that I wouldn't have thought of. Wyatt is adorable in his own right and Jensen is such a perfect alphahole that you can't help but cheer for his happy ever after. I like the separation between the paranormal and human even as they live side by side. There is some mention of non-consent sex if that's a trigger for you. Overall a good read.

The world that Skylar Sweeney has built with this series is large and very flushed out but it can be a bit dark and overwhelming sometimes. This is definitely a paranormal fantasy but the romance works as well. I might have liked to see a bit more focus on Aladdin, Jensen, and Wyatt BUT that is personal preference. This is a very unique tale though so I definitely recommend giving it a try. Please heed the trigger warnings if you have any.

This world is great. I love the way that the author world builds. The characters are amazing and well thought out. I love this take on Aladdin. Aladdin, Wyatt, and Jensen are such great characters. I love the steam in this novel and the emotions are great. This book is definitely on the darker side but I really enjoyed that and the snark is amazing. I would recommend reading Broken Fangs first because it does give more context but this can be read as a standalone. I would recommend this book.

Great story

I absolutely loved this story. You don’t have to read the first book but I would recommend it just because it was so good. This world was so fascinating. Vampires, weres, and witches and then you’re going to throw a jinn and Merlin in too. Sign me up. I loved all the parts of this story.

I enjoyed this book more than the first one in the series. I felt the humor and snark were more evenly balanced with the darker elements. I love the alternative idea of Aladdin and the Genie. The mix of paranormal creatures is fun and entertaining, and the whole idea of the Hollywood back-drop is unique and fresh.

He should be happy with everything he has but he is not, he is gay but acting straight. Life is about to take a turn when she is kidnapped and is given a task to complete. A magic lamp is what he needs and yet it may take magic to get it. What will he do? Will he save her? Will he find love? See how it all ends

I adored this book. I love the world and characters (especially the fairytale ones) and how they have brought them to modern day. Aladdin and Jensen have been together so long and its such a unique relationship. Then there’s Wyatt he just wants someone and he wanders into Aladdin and Jensen’s world. I highly recommend these books if you love PNR or Fantasy Skylar Sweeney does and amazing job!

An Out Of This World Experience.

MMM, paranormal, D/s, Dark Romance.Although this is the second book in an ongoing series, it reads well as a stand-alone, easy to read with some likeable characters. There is a sense of fun within the story although there are some dark moments throughout. Twists and turns and kept guessing as to who is behind everything that is going on. HEA.

Three Wishes is the second book in this series and follows the story of Wyatt, Aladdin, and Jensen. This is a dark mmm romance set in a complex paranormal universe, filled with lots of unusual characters from vampires, wizards, and jinns. This book was better than book 1, but there is some BDSM, some dub-con, and off-page non-con. Overall an ok read and addition to the series.

Unique look on Aladdin

This can be read as a standalone, but it was great to see characters returning from book 1.
Jenson comes across as a bit mean in the beginning, playing up to the fact poor Wyatt has no idea about the paranormal world around him.
The plot was gripping and exciting and I just kept wanting to read more. Now excited to move on to book three...
