Nema has the perfect husband. But maybe he’s too perfect and better for someone else. Her personal unhappiness causes her to push and push, until one day, her husband is gone. But little does he know…he needs Nema’s permission to move on.
Jealousy causes Nema to realize that she possesses something more precious than gold. She has the man of every woman’s dream. And like anything of value...he can be sold.
But Nema is in for one hell of a surprise. Soon, she discovers she’s surrounded by lies. And no matter how hard she tries; she can’t undo what she did. She can’t change the fact that she sold her husband to the “devil” for highest bid.

This was a highly entertaining read. Not one person in this book had their head screwed on right lol well, except Al, all he did was love a very selfish Neema who never deserved him but got him in the end.
This was a very good read. I honestly couldn’t put it down. Nema made me look at her crazy, I wanted to shake her. Like girl what 👏🏾are👏🏾doing😳 I just…smh😂 I really didn’t feel bad for her at all. Sophie was a hot mess, her brothers cam situation was crazy also. Everyone had some stuff with them except Al. He was the only one coo in my opinion. Lula was also crazy, like how do you come up with something like that. Diana…Just read the book you won’t he disappointed.
First time reading this author and I loved the humor in this book. It was filled with emotions and scary moments of love. Loads of forgiveness and crazy moments, too!
Wow! Husband For Sale, love the title. It’s what peaked my interest in reading the book.
This book tickled me. I was highly entertained and could not stop reading. Nema has it all with her husband, Al, but she’s not satisfied. She’s lost herself and her creative niche in her marriage. Al was a good man; he was too perfect but he did not deserve what Nema did to him. Lol. In a weird way, Nema bossed up and found her juice during their whole divorce. However, I think Nema got exactly what she deserved by being mean to Al. Making a deal with the she-devil was good for her. It humbled her in a way and made her fight for her marriage. Lula really did have a few screws loose- but the way sis was tossing money she helped Nema and Al level up in the end. Like ma’am, you can’t buy love!🤣
In true BM Hardin fashion, there was some unexpected twists that kept me on the edge of my seat. I really liked this one- it had a good amount of humor and life lessons. Awesome job! Ps, communication goes a long way.
Ladies, this story was so Freaking awesomeness personified. How much is your husband worth. For some a fire sale would be enough, for others like me, no amount of money would suffice. The idea for the story had me after the synopsis, I was into the story. I was so sad for poor Al. He was blindsided by his wife's malaise in their marriage. But how? The third best relationship for a horizontal perspective, and she was complaining. Come on Sis! Here are some things to ponder. The theme was about marriage and relationships. The idea that the grass isn't always greener, and choose your friends wiser were points two and three, and lastly family can be a beeatch! Finally, don't sell you man unless you have just cause. So freaking good, you all.
Like every B. M. Hardin book that I’ve read, the story started off so good. Then about a third of the way in, it took a detour to Crazyville. The idea of auctioning off your man is just so nutty and hard to believe. It just kept getting more ridiculous. I gave it 4 stars because it was still very interesting. I had to see how it would all unfold. At first, I could really relate to Nema. I understood her restlessness and sense of being unfulfilled. I just couldn’t get with how she tried to resolve her issues. She played herself. The ending left a lot of loose ends, but overall, it was really entertaining.
So much happened. Nema got off a bit too easily.. I'm giving the ending a side eye because That Psycho was doing Too Much to just let Al go like that..
I always enjoy BM Hardin. Her books always has a lot of twists & turns, but I enjoy diving into one her books for an afternoon cause I know it will have it all. love. Mystery. Laughter. One of my favorite authors. She never disappoints
What if you needed to find yourself? Would you get rid of the most important person in your life?
This was a wonderful read Nema need a little space to figure out life so she asked her husband for a divorce. Her sister Sofia was a womanizer!! & wanted what her sister had A Perfect man!! Nema first mistake was telling other women about her perfect man!!
This is my second time reading this because book, its better than the first time ❤️
Jack and Gia were having an affair, and also Cathy tell your husband to fuck off and beat his ass.
Sophie and Vanessa being with Benny and Benny choosing Sophie. And Vanessa gets pregnant, she scars Sophie’s face. Vanessa goes to jail, tells our main girl she is going to give up the baby. Sophie finds out she can’t have kids, Benny leaves her for Vanessa to raise the baby.
Cam’s wife Venus sleeping around with other men.
Diana being obsessed with our main character because she stole Al from her.
Lula killed her ex-husband.
Lula paid Germany to keep our main girl occupied while she went after Al. And yes, Germany was married and had kids.
This book was a wild fucking read.

I have often heard everything that glitters ain't gold, "Lula". The price we pay from happiness often times is free if it's true love. This entire book took me a little longer because of how stupid Nema was. I can't believe she wanted everything she already had. Did I mention how stupid Nema was? Sophie is a beautiful empty mess, Nema is a gifted loved unworthy mess, and Cam was a confused mentally underage teenager that was trying to grow up. Money, power and Love still can't make you happy hence Lula. This book left me wondering how much is your significant others life worth, and could you watch them openly love another person? Al was the realest by far. Good read.
This was a well written tale of finding out the grass isn’t greener and while Nema knew what she had at home, she convinced herself that she needed something different. I enjoyed the story but candidly found Nema hard to root for such that the ending left me wanting. For all of her “introspection” I found it to be very much surface level and to me for all the accomplishments I don’t think she actually resolved the REAL issue which was her feeling compelled to wear a mask of perfection and 2nd place in her marriage. I laughed at the irony of her thinking others needed therapy because, really pot? Overall a good story with interesting twists and turns, but y’all can keep Nema LOL
The author definitely knows how to put some twists to her stories. Best way to keep the readers engaged at the edge of their seats wondering how the plot twist will end. An opportunity that seemed to good to be true for Nema turned out to be the opposite for her. The grass isn't always greener on the other side especially when money is involved. With betrayal of family and friends becoming the enemy, Nema realizes she made a mistake in her quest for happiness when her love for Al never died. I love that the story ended on a positive note but it shows that communication is key in a relationship/marriage.
Before I start allow me to be clear...I DO NOT LIKE NEMA!! If I'm totally honest nor do I like Sophie they were selfish and conniving. I wanted better for Al he deserves so much better.
Now with that being said Nema was a woman on a mission and she was determined to get her goal accomplished even when it wasn't totally clear to her. Her methods are morally questionable but heck to each their own. Nema was a great friend to her friends and even a great sister to her siblings (although she envied Sophie) but she wasn't a horrible ungrateful wife and didn't deserve Al.
Nema seemed to have the perfect marriage with Al. When her and their weekly date night with other couples get together the dynamics of 3 couples lives are changed. WAY TO GO BM as she teaches us about being grateful for whom we have, exploring other relationships, sticking it out through the good and the bad , communication and marriage goals! Sophia Neema’s sister believes she can help Neema but at what costs? While Neema is trying to find herself she runs into Lula who is brass, filthy rich and is long for a man. Will Neema be the answer to her prayers or a thorn in her side! This lesson will agar one for a it of people so get ready!
Omg! This book is very well written and grabbed me from beginning to end. Nema made me so mad with her that I had to put my phone down and do the Soulja Boy walk off to calm my nerves several times! As a woman who has never been married, I wanted to jump into the book and strangle her! Thank you BM Hardin for exposing us to a genuinely good man with no strings attached! You wrote Al perfectly and I want one just like him. I’m spending my whole summer lying around reading books and this one is definitely in my top 3 so far. Bravo. Let me look into your other book, P.S. I Cheat Back, since you’re doing it like this!
Awesome book. According to everyone Nema has the perfect husband. Nema feels that her husband Al is perfect, and she do not feel like she is made for him. Nema is very unhappy with herself and not able to create and paint. Nema advises her old best friend Lula that she is divorcing her husband Al. Her friend Lula advises her to auction Al off to the highest bidder. Her so called friend Lula is the winner of Al. Nema made a huge mistake, yes, she became a millionaire but was miserable in the end. Awesome read.
Well dang! This was a page turner. Nema lost her self loving the perfect man and sold him to the highest bidder , her rich psycho college friend Lula . Only problem is she still loved him . Her sister had beauty and success looked perfect on the outside but was envious of what Nema had . Poor Cam married a sex addict. Vanessa got the man . The mean girl at work was a stalker. Look to understand what I’m talking about you need to read this . You won’t be disappointed.
I am sorry but I could not get into this book. How do you say "for better or worse" but in 2 years you need a break because YOU started the marriage not being yourself!! Nema was so immature and selfish. I was so upset 😡 I could not finish the book as there is no ending Ms. Hardin could put on this book that would made what Nema did ok.
Just No if you truly value the Devine sanctity of Marriage Don't waste your time. I understand this is just a book but still it makes light of Marriage and I don't like that.
I really enjoyed this book. For fiction's sake - it was implausible, but it still came with a lesson. I could feel where Nema was coming from because she did try to communicate her angst. Al's ways were the very reason she fell for him though and she found fault in him instead of coming up with workable solutions. She found that, in the end, it was her loss. I found it intriguing - the concept of selling your spouse and I'm sure there's endless reasons, but at what price?
That old saying "You never realize what you had, until it's gone" is all too true and it's one of the things that Nema had to find out the hard way. She had a hard working, faithful husband who truly loved her but she didn't appreciate him or the life they shared together. Lies, betrayal, and loneliness leaves her miss the husband she gave away. This is a story that I believe everyone should read, especially if you're in need of some serious soul searching about your relationship.
Loved the cover art, loved the flow of the writing, loved the storyline, and loved the crazy plot twists. Heck, I loved this read like Nema should have loved her husband lol... The characters in this story will have you feeling some type of way(evoke your emotions). And Nema, I didn't know whether I despised her or felt sorry for her. Just when you think it can't get any wilder, it does! Craziness aside it's quite thought-provoking, and entertaining! The things BM comes up with in this read definitely solidified my choice to celebrate her brilliance. She's gained a new reader in me.
Just when you think this author has pulled out all the stops she does it again. Nema lost her zeal for doing what she loves which is being an artist and she thinks it is because she has lost herself in marriage so she gets out of it. Al was the perfect man and he tried everything he could to make Nema happy until he was forced to give up. What happens with this marriage and all the in between is woven in this book.
This book was mind blowing. Be careful what you wish for cause what you think you want isnt always what you get. Nema had it all, didn't want it, sold it to the highest bidder, then wanted it back. Keep your friends and family close, and your enemies closer. B.M. Hardin blows your mind once again. I didn't see this coming. Another 5 star read. CDC
B.M. Hardin comes at us once against n with a book that had me laughing and asking who the heck are these people again? Nema really didn’t know what she had until she actually lost Al and she was so upset with him that she did something stupid. Now, Diana were just crazy and Sophie was selfish. I loved the ending though. Maybe this time around Nema and Al will make it work.
I had to give this book 5 stars! Hardin did her thing once again. It will have you guessing if you even have the perfect husband! Is there a such thing as a perfect relationship? Who knows! This book had me wanting more. NEMA was a great wife until she had a change of hurt. Her sister went against her. Her old bff came back to cause so much madness. But will she get her life back to normal???
Wow! A tad bit conflicted with the buying and selling part of this story. Nema is super immature and went way over the top in trying to solve her marital problems. Nema thought wealth was the answer to repaying her brother for raising her but it wasn't and she ended up losing everything that meant the world to her. Lula, Sophie, Vanessa, Benny and the rest of that crew were all cray-cray and in dire need of immediate therapy!!! Still SMH !!!!!
Nema had to be one dumb broad. She had what every woman wants and threw it away. I had so many emotions reading this book. I was happy she lost All but at the same time I wanted them to get back together. Once she realized he wasn't going to chase her she felt like a fool. I'm glad things worked out the way they did. Sophie was a hot mess, but I would love to know what happened with her as well as Cam and his wife.
Geez I couldn’t stop reading it…it was soooooo good. B M Hardin this the first book I have read from you and girl…you did your thing…what a love story, mixed with betrayal jealousy envy money sex and murder…man I’m at a lose for words…so sad that the book is over…I highly recommend this book to everyone I even had my husband reading the hot and steamy parts that reminded me of him…ok I’m off to find another good story from B M Hardin my new best author.
This book was in the same vein as many other B.M. Hardin books, with a lot of plot twists and people who were not quite who you thought they were. Still, I never really got to the point of liking the main character and her decisions were irritating. I didn't feel like she was deserving of most of the good that came her way because she was so careless and haphazard with it. At any rate, it was a decent read.
