I chose this book to be the first verse novel I read because it’s a love story. Boy, am I glad I made the right choice! I haven’t seen or heard of any other modern poetry books like this one, so it makes quite a unique addition to my personal library. First of all, the names of the characters are really lovely: Night and Luna; especially because Luna in Romanian means exactly what it means here as well: Moon. To be honest, “Luna” sounds much more romantic than “Moon” and fits “Night” just right. I like how we are taken through a multitude of emotions, from missing the mere presence of her, to how well she fits in his arms; from how the little things add to their love, to how they plan the future together. It’s a very sensible and gentle read about a love deeper than what was in both their lives before. I enjoyed it to the bits
