Tricia Wentworth is the award-winning author of The Culling series. Though she began writing at a young age, she didn’t realize her love of writing would take over until after she graduated college with her teaching degree. She currently resides in Nebraska with her husband, three sons, and English bulldog. She hoards notebooks, pretty pens, books, and tea. When not reading, writing, or momming, she can be found squeezing in a run or feeding her sugar addiction by baking something ridiculously delicious.
This book is the conclusion of the whole series. I did not enjoy it in the beginning and I kept wanting it to get going quicker, but I wanted to finish the now 7 book series I was reading! It wraps up beautifully in the end, but I felt it started slow. Stick in there and enjoy how the story unfolds!
Overall, the 7 books in this series was good. But, I hated how the author told the same events in different books but from different point of views (James, Kennedy and Elijah). Also, the way all the characters thought and talked so innocently and naive got annoying. I think the author should have shortened the series a lot to make it more interesting. It took lots of discipline for me to just finish the series bc I wasn't interested anymore.
I started reading the Culling series right after the first book came out, and have been hooked ever sense. I thought this was a great ending to such a good series. Ever since I read Elijah, I knew I wanted him and Cassie to win. He was my favorite sibling, so I was happy with the result of this book. Although I am sad to say goodbye to this world, I loved how everything wrapped up!

Dystopian Democracy & LOVE ABOUNDS w PHENOMENAL CHARACTERS!!:-)
The writing is TOP NOTCH & OFF THE HOOK FANTASTIC!!:-). This Dystopian world is just MAGNIFICENT and really brings you right there and directly into each characters heart to truly experience their journeys right alongside them!!:-). ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS ENTIRE SERIES!!!:-). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND & I LOVED IT!!:-)
I am saddened that the culling world that I came to love has ended. Like others have said what a ride it has been. This book was a perfect ending. If you haven't read the entire series I would highly recommend it. One of my all time favorites!
I loved the entire Culling series and find myself really bummed that I am done. It’s going to be close to impossible to find another series as good as this. I was definitely team Elijah and Cassie. The writing in this book was beautiful. Like how can I go back to the real world lol?
really loved this series as a whole. I fell in love with the first culling series and was stoked when i saw that a sequel was coming. It was interesting for the three story lines to come together in one book to end it all. Sometimes it was great and each character chapter picked up with the other one left off (although not every time).
How it all ended was a bit predictable, I feel, just because like we follow these three people through the whole series and when we get to the end its just expected that one of them is going to get what they wanted. And I feel like maybe it could have been a interesting twist if the ending wasn't as simple. Also, i sort of felt that lyncoln and reagan were maybe a little out of character in the series. Yeah they didn't have a huge part but they were around and it seemed like Raegan (after 20some years of being madam president) was only portrayed as overly emotional and less of the B.A she was in the original books.
Got to say in the end Kennedy was my favorite because she got her heart smashed by two guys and said screw it im going to crush the rebels anyway, with or without you (truly her mothers daughter). Im really looking forward to listening to the audiobooks when they come out (because thats how I binged the first series).
This entire series is amazing! I fell in love from the start with the characters and the story line. Tricia always left me wanting to know more and what happens next. From The Culling to the New Era and all the books in the middle…everything is a must read! I laughed and cried through them all!!
