It hasn’t even been a week yet, but my life will never be the same. Not only do I have to continue on at Purgatory Prep while my world crumbles around me, but somehow I have to figure out who I can trust.
I’m battling to put one foot in front of the other each day, but the veil in this world has its own schedule, which doesn’t include giving me time to heal.
I’m finding out the hard way that the Sulks aren’t the only thing lethal here, as new players have joined this deadly game. I’ve already lost my MVP, who else will I lose trying to win this losing battle?

Having a hard time with this series. Probably won’t finish. Doesn’t feel cohesive. It has a lot of POV’s and I think that takes away from the flow a bit. We shall see!
I have been waiting patiently for the second book in the Purgatory Prep series and Road to Chaos did not disappoint. This book was all that I wished for and more. It's been almost a year since Road to Redemption and I forgot how funny Rez and Moni are. I laughed my way throughout this book which is something that I loved, however, this book had so pretty high emotional stakes and made me have all the feels.
Rez is still the sweet, kind, confident, funny, and generally bright girl that we know but things got a little dark for her and Zeke, both dealing with mental health issues. Rez has faced a lot of things and now that she doesn't have her usual emotional support system things are really hard for her. However, she is willing to try and overcome it and not drown in her negative feelings. I gotta give her credit, Rez is finding the happy times when she can and is actually starting to make sense of the supernatural world she's found herself in.
The guys had some apologizing to do in this one, Rez doesn't forgive easily. So JP really had to step up in this one, it was nice to see him in caretaker mode and of course, then there's Moni being the supportive best friend who may also have found a little backbone in this one thanks to Rez. As for the other guys, it was good to finally have them step up and put some effort in with Rez. Knox really surprised the heck out of me, he's come the furthest when it comes to Rez and now he is all in. Not to mention the steam level in this book was unreal, Rez and the guys certainly make up for lost time.
I loved the world-building in this book. The hint of other realms, cute magical animals that were super unique, a bigger verity of powers, the Rebels gaining traction and causing chaos, mean girl groups, and a few plot twist that I didn't see coming. The story was intriguing from beginning to end. There were some fun times, unbelievable steam, and most of all mystery. I love that this series is so unique and that there is no way to know where the story will go next.
Road to Redemption left on a pretty devastating cliffhanger but we get answers fairly quickly but the drama and threats keep piling up so once again I was left with pretty powerful emotions. Not to mention that Kerry has done it again. She left us with an emotionally devastating ending in Road to Chaos. Who knows how long I'm gonna have to wait to see this cliffhanger resolved one way or another. It's emotional torture I tell you, I can't wait for a little Salvation. Road to Salvation is the third book in the series and I am beyond ready for it because things were left on pretty shaky ground and need answers.
There is so much I could say about this book and the Author, but I will not spoil this read for anyone! It was well written and full of amazing twists and on the edge of my seat, tear my hair out moments. I love Moni, she is my soul sister. Her humor is amazing and she brings out a wonderful uniqueness to Kerry's books. I was thrown into Rez's mind in this book as her heart was torn apart. I really, really wanted to strangle Kerry, but by the end my murderous sensitive side had calmed and now I can't wait for her next book, or any book by her!
Nothing happens. Literally nothing. The book just drags, instead of looking for the person she has known her whole life, has loved and is her mate, she's there fucking other guys that betrayed her. She realises that her dreams are reality and what does she do to look for him? Absolutely fuck all. Really really dislike the FMC. She's pissed me off throughout the whole book. Not sure why it has such high ratings. This book at gone for a 5 to a 0. I actually hope she dies as she doesn't deserve what she has. Not sure if I'll continue the series as I dislike the characters.
Excellent book. Often the 2nd book in the series is not as good as the 1st book. That isn't the case here. Road to Chaos perfectly picks up from book 1. The author does a superb job with character development. The story is engaging from the get go. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
This was an intense read! After the hell of a cliffhanger from book 1, it was admittedly a little hard to get in to at first, but I started to roll with it soon enough. I knew Lynx couldn’t be dead, even if the blurb and Rez’s emotions at the beginning of this book play heavily towards him being killed. Kerry did a good job with that.
I think the biggest shock this book was Knots. At least for me. Rez now has how many men looking out for her? Ha.
This book is full of chaos (*snort* see what I did there?) and Rez has got to hang on tight. A surprisingly large amount of things have happened in such a short amount of time since the beginning of her story.
Knox, Levi, Ryker, and Zeke all have to work on getting back in to Rez’s good graces, while she spends more time with JP, Knots, and Moni. Moni is the sweetest and I love that she’s found someone.

I felt like this book was just an entire thing of filler content. I was baffled that she didn't try harder to find Lynx. Ummm...they're all magic beings and have mages at their disposal, even that girl helped get a better link, and she didn't use a single bit of magic to try and track him. Doesn't make a lick of sense. It's not a cohesive flow. The POV were all over the place and I didn't feel some of them should have been in the book at all. This reads like a Wattpad type where there is just drama after drama chapter after chapter. Is this Wattpad? It would make a ton of sense. Rez is a terrible character. She has no growth, no "go-get-em" attitude, and no plot in this entire book. When will she ever go to classes? She barely went in the first book and has barely gone in the second. The book is literally based on Purgatory PREP. A school that she's been forced to attend. The only guy I like is Lynx. Maybe Knots. Everyone else feels like a forced character. There are too many in the harem to put in pov of other people who aren't in it. The first book I gave it 4. This one is my last and I won't continue the series.
Road to Chaos is book two in the Purgatory Prep Academy series by Kerry Keller and daaaang I love this series so much! I don’t want to give away anything too much but there’s so many things I could say! This book picks up straight from the first and is just as action packed, just as emotion filled, with all the sass and fun from the first one that I loved. This book has plenty of spice, betrayals and fabulous world building I’ve come to expect from Kerry and definitely one I’d recommend!
This book was absolutely amazing!!! There was so much that happens in this book that it will keep you guessing and wanting more. You get a lot answered from book 1 but it also adds more suspense leading into book 3. The characters are phenomenal. The character development is outstanding. I love having to see all the guys grovel at rez's feet trying to get back into her good grace's. You will experience all the feels with this book. Highly recommend this book. Could not put it down! Kerry has truly out done herself with this book.
I don't know where to start to review this book. If I didn't know better I'd swear Kerry has written dozens of books not just 2. I know my review won't do it justice so read this series and see what I mean! We start were we left off from book 1. LYNX dead... still crying about this. Rez finishes claiming I guess you can say the 4 horseman JP and... nope Im not telling you who else lol. She searches for Lynx but is he alive dead or what? She begins to come into her powers. Officially mates one the guys. Moni takes a mate! And continues to faint and crack me up laughing. A few questions are answered and a heck of a lot more are still out there for book 3.
The second book in the series was just as amazing and frustrating as the first and yes I mean that in a positive way.
Rez is such a great main character because she has flaws and weaknesses. She's just this amazing spitfire that stands up for what she believes in and looks after her friends/family. She's been through absolute hell in this book and just when you think it's all starting to look up the rug is pulled from underneath you.
Emotional reveals and shocking events that have you begging for more as Kerry Keller makes you bleed for her words.
Loved getting to know the other characters more and the addition to new characters. Some I didn't care for at all...*cough* fishface.
That cliffhanger hurt. I won't lie. It's taken days to write this review and moaning at my husband about it. Can't wait for book three!!!!
I legit loved this book just as much with the first. Kerry has a writing style way that makes you feel like you are on a first date with butterflies in your stomach and like that good burn feeling if that makes sense. We pick right back up as we left off in book 1. It has been a while since Book 1 came out but you wouldn't know that because you fall back in love all over again with these very well written characters and that character growth though?
Wow. The second book in the series is definitely as good as the first! It picks up right where the first book left off and you really hit the ground running here. I was again hooked from the start. It was great getting the different POV’s again and throughout the story I really loved how the guys worked for forgiveness and how they slowly earned back their trust. I can’t wait for the next book in this series as I bet it’s going to be phenomenal if the first two are anything to go by!
Kerry has done it again! She has created an amazingly sassy story that kept me guessing and wanting to skip to the end to find out how my favorite characters survived this continued journey. Can't wait to read more!
All I can say is WOW! An amazing 2nd book to this series smoothly following the story from book 1. There's more character and story development in this book as well as lots of new twists. Kerry Keller has done an incredible job bringing this world to life for her readers.. and I can't wait for more!
Wow!! Could not put this book down! I love Rez and the whole gang. They have so many obstacles standing in their way and the only way to solve them is together. That cliffhanger was brutal. Can't wait to see what happens next with this group.
Road to Chaos was Amazing! So much happens in this book! It starts out a bit sad with Rez and her familiar, Lynx and then feeling betrayed by the Princes. There is so much that goes on in this book with the ups and downs and twists and turns and then there is that cliffhanger that will leave desperately wanting the next book. I really love this story and the supernatural and our favorite characters, like Moni, JP and Rez. We also have a few new characters, too. This is an amazing series with supernatural characters, suspense and plenty of knotty times!
This was an amazingly well-written book two. It flowed and you fell in love with to world building, and the complex characters kept you completely on the edge of your seat.
This book had me giggling throughout it all “Fe, Fi, Fo, Fum. F*ck this Place… I’m so done" this was one of my favourite, quotes, it just kept getting better.
I'm sticking to book one review, go in blind, even though it has few triggers, it is still a fun read, it felt like i read it fast, even though it isn't small, still would like some more please?
Book 2 in the series & just as amazing as book 1. Really well written & the story just flowed. Another cliffhanger but it’s what you expect with a series & just makes you want to read the next one. Fantastic book.
I love this series!!! I couldn’t put it down. Book 2 picks up where 1 left off and it is such a ride, and let’s just say it’s got the spice. Can’t say much with out spoilers so go read! I can’t wait till book 3!!! Side note loved some of the chapter titles!
Kerry Keller ripped my heart out with the ending to her first novel Road to Redemption. Book Two, I'm not going to lie, makes sure your heart melts back into place before it drops down to your toes. The character development is sublime. To see the characters grow up and evolve is a pleasure. The xxx scenes were sublime! Kerry has moved the story forward in a way I didn't expect, and I really liked how I couldn't predict where the story was going. Bring on book three!
Nothing is guaranteed at Purgatory Prep. Nothing. We pick up right where book one left us high and dry, and jump into the action Plenty in this book to keep the story progressing and I never felt like it dragged. We see the relationships deepen (totally knot making a dirty joke in my head here) while Rez learns about herself and begins to forgive. We see more of Moni with all her antics, and gain some insight into all the guys. Great story, amazing storytelling!
I absolutely loved this book and need so much more. I hate the harpy queen and her minions. This series keeps getting better and better Raz is still devastated by what happened to Lynx and the crap the guys put her through. Thank god she has Moni and Jp. That ending was crazy. Book three please 🙏🏽🖤

Road to Chaos made me cry and laugh. After the devastating cliffhanger in book 1, I had to find out what happened. This was one heck of a ride and it did not disappoint.
Rez has a lot going on and she has plenty of people there to back her up. Most of the guys are having to work their way back into her good graces. Knox, Levi, Zeke and Ryker all had some graveling to do, while Knots, Jp, and Moni, are her rocks.
I was completely enthralled from the first word until the last. I didn’t want it to end, and if life hadn’t gotten in the way, I would have devoured it in one sitting. Moni and Knots will have you in stitches. With this many characters it would be easy to mix them up, but Kerry does such an amazing job of uniquely writing them, that isn’t an issue here.
Grab a bite to eat, some chocolate for your emotions, and clear your schedule, because when you start book two, your not going to want to do anything but read. 10,000 stars.
Book one seemed to just be a tease. Because this book, this book was incredible! This book gives you angst, sadness, happy feels, and loads of spice!
Rez makes those men work for her, and gain her trust and love back. And boy do they work for it! Rez struggles to figure out how to keep going without her other part of her soul. Thankfully for Rez she has enough people in her corner to help lift her up and get through what seems impossible.
This book gives us so immense character growth, not just from the guys but Rez herself.
The entire book had me anxiously waiting for what was going to happen next, because there's no way things would be getting easier for my favorite harem.
Wow what an amazing story after the first book and thank god Lynx isn’t gone forever after one hell of a cliffhanger. The story is so well written and the character development is so good. I can’t wait to read the next book and see how our Rez and her guys continue their journey! Although this book also ends with a cliffhanger, it is not as devistation as the first one!

Simply amazing! Kerry Keller’s laid-back writing style, intricate world building, and complex characters keep you completely engaged, desperate for more!
Where to start this book was choc full of content, there are so many threads weaved through this story that I cannot wait to see how it all comes together. I'm invested in every single characters story. From Moni to Lilith outside the main group.
Rez Rez Rez gosh how I wanted to strangle you more than once in this, then shake you, then slap you I was so frustrated with you! Then I really thought about what was going on with her mentally and cut her a bit of slack.
I fell hard for Knots in this book he's now solidly my favourite, I know why choose but I have though a certain wolf also has me kinda crazy. Zeke, was probably my least fave in book one but gosh my heart broke for him in this book. The author did a great job in making me care for him and what he was going through in this one.
This book had some solid comedy moments which had me laughing so hard, a nice bit of action and some great scenes with our Queen B, gosh I can't wait for her to be brought down. She is written so well she brings out so much hate in me.
Lynx lynx lynx well I'm not going to tell you what happened to him you need to read this book to find out.
Here’s I don’t get it. I genuinely don’t. How is this train wreck of a book so highly rated? It’s a masterclass in terrible storytelling—sloppy, incoherent, and borderline unreadable. After the first book’s cliffhanger, the author wastes *forty whole pages* on pointless filler instead of delivering resolution. Forty. Pages. And don’t even get me started on Lynx. The protagonist supposedly cares about him, but her "search" is a joke. She’s known him her *entire life*, yet she gets distracted by every irrelevant side plot like a goldfish with amnesia. The pacing is a disaster, flipping between tedious nonsense and rushed, half-baked "emotional" moments that land with all the impact of a deflated balloon. The POV switches? Random as hell. The "romantic" tension? Nonexistent. The characters? Cardboard cutouts with less chemistry than a pet rock and a paperclip. The entire book is a Frankenstein’s monster of tired tropes, held together by weak prose and zero narrative discipline. There’s no depth, no payoff, no reason this should exist. It’s not just bad—it’s *offensively* bad. The fact that people praise this drivel is mind-boggling. Save yourself the time and skip this dumpster fire.
I’m really liking this series overall, but I have a few mixed feelings about this book. I love the storyline with Knots and Lynx, but I do feel like the relationships with the other guys took a hit. While I normally like a good grovel, I feel like in this case, she just cut them off and didn’t really give them a chance to even explain, and then when they do get back together, it just felt a little too “ok we’re back together.” I also wasn’t a fan of how they just seemed to forget about one of the guys. Also, with how her dreams are, it seemed odd that she pull wake up and be like we need to figure this out, but other than some off page door system looking, didn’t really do anything. I did like the spice and the new addition to the harem was ♥️♥️♥️. Rez is starting to really grow and figure out her power - and Moni!! Loved Moni’s little side story and her torturing her brother was great 😆 The harpy Queen is evil and I really hope they take her down, especially after her last stunt 😡 i will be checking out book 3 to find out what happens next
