The Porfian Princess
Nobles and those who want to be nobles are back doing what they are best at – plotting. Plotting to rise in station and rank. Plotting against their rivals.
Duke Harlold’s rebels have defeated the Guard defending Koronus. Now comes the hard part. Keeping the peace, returning businesses to local control, and dealing with the discontent of the remaining Porfians. Duke Harold is lucky to have his betrothed Noria along with Prince Arken and his wife Elizabeth to help him along.
Mike and a pregnant Catrina are heading back to Nordia. There they will be moving to Centralia and working to take over from Duke Marvon. With the coming fall of Tantulus, everyone expects Duke Marvon to leave and take over as Duke of one of the cities there. That has turned what would have been a long and gradual transition into a very fast one. Just a few short years for Mike and Catrina to take the reigns of the city.
That will give those people in the city who felt that they should have succeeded Duke Marvon a new incentive to try and undermine their rule. Also, Catrina is going to be a mother and she needs to be looking for a co-wife. Something that makes Mike very uncomfortable, so Catrina is going to have to bring him along slowly.
In Koronus there is to a big wedding. Duke Harlold is going to marry Noria, the daughter of the Duchess of Sandford in Sudlund. Prince Arken and his wife Elizabeth are going to bring Princess Alla, the daughter of King Menounos into their marriage.
Princess Christiana and Prince Roddrick are going. The King is also sending Prince Brandt and his friends there as well. This is their first taste of the grownup world. They are to find opportunities for Nordia in the Tantulus and start to establish closer ties between the two realms. This is a big deal for the young men. They also realize that they are going into a volatile situation and there may be danger lurking.

A great book
I love the detail in the books I feel like I'm involved in this world. The charters are rich and well flushed out. The story is compelling and I can't wait till the next book is released.this is due to this author s love of cliff hanging ending in his book.lol I thank the author for his hard work and wish him to do many moore. Ps. Please keep doing Audible books I love to hear them while I work around the house

Cliffhanger
Did everyone who was wounded survive the wedding? What is really going on at the steppes? Will Porfia have new leadership? So many questions for the next book. This had a lot fill to the next story with traveling to and from taking up chapters. Hope the next book comes out soon.

Great Read, Great Series
Michael wants to know more about what happened in Tantulus, so he does a military type staff study detailing the subversion of the kingdom by Porfia. A huge wedding is to be held in Koronus. It is an excellent opportunity for an attack. The Nordian recognize this and prepare. The characters are well fleshed out. The major characters are compelling and the villains range from honorable to despicable. I like the action, humor, romance, and political intrigue. It is fun to watch Catrina manipulate Michael into accepting a second wife. I look forward to the next book.

This sequel also has many editing errors
I enjoy the story very much. However, there are many errors. For example, I happy instead of I’m happy. Princes Christiana was used instead of Princess Christiana. Also, the following sentence should be two sentences with the word that removed. She had no illusions that it would take decades to accomplish.

OK
The dialogue was stilted and dry. The book was hard to get through because of all the flavor was sucked out. The first few books were done well and were interesting,, this one, not so much . If this was the first book, I'd read no more. Come on, you can write better than this.

Continuing the saga
Calvin's world creation co tonnes to evolve. The story tends to jump around locales and characters. A little!e simplistic in the ongoing battle of good verses evil, hero verses villain; but still enjoyable and easy read.

Nice read
This one wasn't as interesting as the first three books but it advanced the story nicely and I enjoyed it. I will definitely keep reading the series and recommend checking it out for yourself

Solid book 3
Great follow up to book 2 however the first chapter was a little slow to get throwing because it caught you up on all the politics from the previous books. After that it was pretty good and ends with a solid fight which I like

Superb adventure series!
Mr. Dalton’s books are wonderful. I sincerely hope he writes more- as soon as possible. He’s one of the best, and the world he creates, is one I’d love to visit. Well Done, Sir!!!

Great series
Great series so far. Looks like just a mild syfi influence so far because of the throttle scientific advancement. Hoping to see something unexpected and chaotic.
