When we last saw Gwen Carter, she had caught her lousy husband Liam O’Leary in bed with his girlfriend, given birth to their daughter Kaitlyn in the middle of a storm (without him) and decided to divorce the bum as well as tossing his last name for her and her child. It’s almost six months later and Gwen’s divorce set her back financially as she bargained for sole custody of her child. She’s starting a new career as interior design assistant in her mother’s company, struggling to rebuild her coffers and be self sufficient. And, she’s vowed to stay single, completely burned and done with romance. But then she didn’t bargain on Cade Paxton, the Aussie billionaire CEO who recently bought the Carter Island airline and who’s contracted her design services.

I’ve looked forward to my return to Carter Island before this book was announced. My love for this series is certainly no secret and I was hoping this would be about Gwen and am thrilled she was center stage. Cade was introduced in the last book when he purchased the airline and airport but not much was known about him. I loved his backstory, the tragic event that reshaped his outlook and had him being such a loner. Both he and Gwen were committed to leading solo lives but their mutual attraction was hard for them to ignore. Cade takes the lead in being willing to pursue a relationship but the perfectionist Gwen is focused on building a secure life for her and her daughter and being independent. The emotional bruises left from her miserable marriage are vivid and still visible so Cade takes his time, staying in the friend zone as they create a lovely and nurturing one.

Gwen is also still part of the small business partnership with her sister Molly and sister-in-law Callie. One of the best aspects of this story (and series) is the friendship and bond between these three women. They support each other fiercely but never overstep their boundaries. However, they don’t miss opportunities to give Gwen the nudges she needs to give a relationship with Cade a chance. And Cade? I fell for this man who loved Gwen’s daughter as passionately as her mother. Their interactions will melt your heart. I was so happy being in this story I didn’t want it to end. It was a beautiful conclusion to one of my most favorite series, one of the best romances I’ve read this year.

Over all well written book. Little to much vivid sex scenes. But this is all three of this book series. At least in this book it was more toward the end instead of through out the book.
Cade comes across a little to prefect for me. Gwen who was smart threw out the other books suddenly became stupid. Instead of her taking ex to the cleaners he had taken everything from her. Ok he was the MIA in her relationship, he cheated, and he didn't believe the baby was his and asked for a DNA test. No. A smart woman like her would have taken him through hell. She sure as heck would not play nice with him . But I guess at least she became more real.

I have been lovin’ spending time on Carter Island with some of Cate Beauman’s characters, so having a chance to come back in No More Secrets, I had to dive in.

Hit my sad button in the first chapter, but knowing Cate Beauman, I feel better things are coming and smiles will be in our future.

Cade Paxton and Gwenyth Carter are both on Carter Island for a fresh start. Neither expected or were looking for romance. That doesn’t mean there wasn’t an immediate attraction. They both have open wounds, but as their feelings deepen their attraction and slow burning romance turns to FIRE.

I enjoyed my time on Carter Island with Cade and Gwenyth. The story was predictable and there were no book surprises for me, but this is a great pool/beach romance.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of No More Secrets by Cate Beauman.

I have been looking forward to the last book of this series and I was not disappointed. I have found Cate’s writing easy to absorb and visualise. Cate’s smooth writing made it easy to escape to Carter Island, where I was reunited with the characters of the previous books. Though No More Secrets is part of a trilogy, each book is a standalone so nothing is lost in the story should you decide to read this book before the others.

Nevertheless, I did enjoy the fact that I knew the history of the other characters. It made the story feel like I was part of the Island.

Cade a good-looking billionaire, businessman and pilot is doing his best to get on with his life after the death of his twin sister. Torn apart by grief and guilt Cade is content with filling his life with work, he does not feel able to invest in emotional relationships as he is still mending his heart.

However, things quickly change for him when he as a chance meeting with the no nonsense Gwen Carter, an attractive divorced single mother who does not have the time for personal relationships.

Cade is unaware that Gwen is trying her best to rebuild her life and show the world she is not a failure, and she can do it all by herself. With the support and love of her siblings, family and friends, Gwen is on track to reach her goal. She takes on a job to update the local airport, which is owned by Cade. Gwen is relying on this job help to her build up her bank balance.

Their work relationship soon develops into a pattern and their attraction for each other is hard to ignore.

If you love a good romance story that you can absorb yourself in then the Carter Island trilogy might just be what you are looking for.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

After reading about Nate and Molly, I couldn't wait to read Gwen's story. This can be read as a standalone novel, but you'll get a full feel for the family and supporting cast of characters if you read the first two books. That being said, Cate Beauman definitely saved the best for last.

Gwen reminds me a lot of myself when I first went through my divorce. She was trying to be the "good guy" and do everything right by her daughter. Cade comes along, turning her world upside down and she struggles with accepting that she deserves something so good in her life. Cade has faced his own heart-wrenching trial and I feel that Gwen was exactly what he needed to fill that void.

The suspense level is lower in this book, but that doesn't mean it is lacking in any way. Their chemistry is off-the-charts sexy that brought out a few blushing incidents and toe curls. I found myself in a fit of happy tears a couple of times at the incredible sweetness of Cade.

Definitely a 5 out of 5 for this final chapter of the Carter Island Tribology. All three books earned a permanent place on my bookshelf!

WOW what an ending to the Carter Island Trilogy! Gwen married a man who she thought was perfect for her. What she ended up with was a man who didn't love her and only married her for the prestige her family name could give him and her money, money, money. When she was 8 months pregnant, she walked in on him cheating with his mistress of many years. She immediately filed for divorce, and he took her to the cleaners. Enter Cade, a multimillionaire who gave up on life when his twin sister died. Gwen brings back his passion for life, but she's hesitant because she doesn't want her daughter, Kaitlyn, hurt. Her ex uses Kaitlyn to get his way so he can get money from his Trust. Cade comes to Gwen's rescue more than once. I loved this book even though I cried a lot on Gwen's behalf. This trilogy should not be missed

Cade and Gwenn

This is the second book I have read by this author and I have loved them both. Anyone who loves a good romance should like this a lot. I found myself getting very emotional and teary at times while reading this. Glenn is fresh from a divorce from Liam after the birth of their child. She is determined to get her career going to support herself and Kaitlynn. She makes a good start on her own, but a new person in town comes along to help her.

Loved the series and book 3 was my least favorite. Gwen kept abruptly walking away from Cade when times got tough. Liam needed to be taken to task, instead the author allows him to be rewarded. Bad message to women dealing with a nasty Ex. Book 2 allowed criminals to get off with a wrist slap. Having your brother as governor really pays off well for these characters. Life imitates art.

Amazing book!

This author has written beautiful stories in this series. The Carter and Sanderson families have endured a lot of tragedy and trauma on their small island off the coast of Massachusetts and then Cade Paxton buys the airport on the island and discovers Gwen Carter and her little girl. I absolutely adored these 3 books and highly recommend them.

Loved all 3 books in this series. The characters were all so believable and I love the family connections. Love, mystery, deception all played a major part in the stories. Would love to read a Continuation.

Very disappointed in this book. Book 1 was very good, a mystery and romance - a little long but well developed, likable characters and a very good story. No More Secrets was a romance with too many pages devoted to sex, boring - no mystery.
