Heartwarming stories and reminders through the words and relationship of Mother/Daughter Duo, Helen and Blythe, that point the reader to the Heart Transforming Truths found in the Word of God and a personal intimate relationship with Him. Each story starts with a word and a verse from the Word, both useful in strengthening that mother/daughter/Heavenly Father bond. A must read and a great gift!

This gift book is all about the details. The first pages include fill-in-the-blanks for gifting information, as well as space to write your own personalized note to Mom.

The book itself is broken down into attributes about your mom, such as “You are abundant,” “You are fearless,” and “You are a legacy.” Each attribute is then separated out with a related Scripture and devotional thought intended to affirm and encourage.

I love the simplicity and thoughtfulness of these messages to our mothers. Young busy mothers might find these encouraging words a lifeline in the sleepless nights and overflowing to-do lists. Grandmothers might cherish these words over a quiet cup of coffee.

Also, don’t forget your mothers-in-love! This book would be a priceless gift for you to share with your husband’s mom, too.

Mothers are in a prime position to regenerate the world, and Blythe and Helen emulate this fundamental Truth in their devotional book. The open-ended questions allow space for readers to dig deep into their souls. In addition, the attributes used throughout the book remind others of God's purpose for mothers.
I have several beloved sentences in I Love You, Mom. One of my favorites is "Their eyes had to focus not on their steps, but what God promises." It's so easy to focus on our circumstances and past. But, this sentence encourages readers to lift their eyes to something greater than what they see. Most importantly, Blythe and Helen give us the strength and vision to seek God's promises.
Thank you, Blythe and Helen, for not only honoring mothers but creating a much-needed reminder of the motherhood role.
I don't know what it's like growing up without a mother, but my biological father wasn't there for my family. What I didn't have, I created in my life from what I did have. What a sweet and delightful book. It’s a cup of refreshment for worn-out younger moms and it will unfold beautiful memories for older moms. I Love You, Mom!: Cherished Word Gifts from My Heart to Yours is a personalized message, devotional, and blessing all in one beautifully illustrated book. The chosen scripture stories creatively illustrate chosen character qualities or attributes. Every attribute (you are prayerful, you are forgiven, etc.) is followed by a letter with sentiments that you might never have told your mom, but always wished you could express. I'd personalize it further by underlining passages and adding a letter in the designated space in the front of the book.

Encouragement, forgiveness, and restoration are woven throughout I Love You, Mom. I’ll be telling my friends to buy this beautiful book for their moms for birthdays, Valentine's Day, and Mother's Day. (And I might even tell their daughters to get it for them!)❤️💐

Meanwhile, I’ll be praying that God will use it to mend mother-daughter relationships by helping daughters focus on the best things they received from their moms. What a precious gift.

Blythe Daniel & Helen McIntosh blend scripture and heartfelt messages to remind Moms just how AMAZING they've been and continue to be. I imagine moms of all ages reading this and being encouraged that what they give to their children becomes a legacy that is cherished forever. I can't think of a more perfect gift to give to the mom of littles who often feels overwhelmed and looked over or the mom of older children who wonders where she fits in now, than this beautiful reminder that she is loved and treasured for just being her.

This mother and daughter team capture such beautiful, heart felt sentiments through scripture, encouraging words , and “You are….” reflections. The mom who often feels she struggles to “get it right” will be affirmed and encouraged as a mom by the book. The mom who has an empty nest will have a sense of comfort as she reflects and reads words of gratitude her family meant to share but never made time to do so. I Love You, Mom! made me smile for so many reasons. The fun, upbeat colors and graphics make it visually appealing from cover to cover. The pace creates a comforting rhythm, whether you read it in one sit-down or, as I enjoyed it, a nibble at a time—like stretching out a favorite box of candies as long as possible. The writing style is breezy and conversational, punctuated with thoughtful questions and gentle challenges to love our moms, and ourselves, better. By highlighting individual attributes, we are able to view our mother-figure from many angles, like a beautiful prism, reflecting the light. This beautiful little book is refreshing, insightful, and oh so encouraging. It would be a wonderful gift for any mom in your life: birth mom, stepmom, adopted mom, grandmother, sister, sis-in-law, friend, or adult daughter who has children of her own.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful book! In both the message and the lovely presentation, it makes for a delightful card/gift combo to be given on a holiday or any day. It's heartwarming how each chapter expresses the characteristics and attributes of moms and it really hits home. For me, it brought back so many precious memories, some I had forgotten. This precious book will bring joy to that mama or mama figure in your life. It offers words a daughter may find hard to say and is something moms will cherish always. Reading this new book evoked so many memories and emotions for me. Memories of my mom, remembering my daughter's childhood, and even recent experiences with my eight-year-old granddaughter. I Love You, Mom! is filled with word gifts that are meant to cheer, encourage, and motivate, making it a perfect choice for any mother that you know. This attractive book begins with blank pages that allow the giver to write a personal note, and the pages that follow speak to moms of all ages. There are twenty-five devotions, and each two-page devotion begins with a Bible verse and ends with an affirmation, such as 'You are loved', 'You are a treasure', and 'You are a blessing'. At the end, more blank pages allow the recipient to jot down some of her thoughts.

Blythe Daniel and her mother Helen McIntosh are Christian mothers who've shared their knowledge and understanding with clarity and sincerity. This is a book to treasure but it's also perfect for gift-giving. It would be a wonderful gift for Mother's Day!

I have in the past few months been reading a book called “I Love You Mom!: Cherished Word Gifts From My Heart To Yours” by Blythe Daniel and her mother, Helen McIntosh. I purchased this book at the Hope Writers’ Conference in November of 2022 and absolutely love it. When I pick it up and read a new chapter, the words always encourage me as a mother and as a daughter with an attribute and a Bible verse as a focus. The authors wrote words of wisdom that both impart important pricnicples about being a mom and encourage mothers on their journey. I enjoyed having Blythe Daniel sign it for me at the Hope Writers Conference and appreciate so much that she and her mother took time to pour out their wealth of wisdom on mothering and being mothered.

“I Love You Mom!: Cherished Word Gifts From My Heart To Yours” will encourage mothers of all ages to consider the qualities that have made them loving moms and give them great joy when given to them from their children. As I contemplate the qualtiies of a loving mother that the authors explore, I feel cherished and loved. This book is a treasure that I will go to again and again and also plan to give a copy to my mother and friends who are mothers. The words will encourage all mothers as they read the heartfelt discussion of hallmarks that are timeless, necessary and learned through living a life of love.

I would highly recommend this book as a gift for Mother’s Day or any time during the year when you want to touch the heart of a mother in your life.

Published by Tyndale House in 2022, I LOVE YOU, MOM! Is a uniquely designed hardcover book. Cheery, floral artwork grace the cover and all of the 112 pages.

The book begins with two lined pages for the giver to write a personal note. Following that is a note from the authors.

Twenty-five “word gifts” are presented. Each one focuses on a character quality. Each devotion begins with a scripture verse (NLT and NIV) followed by a story by the authors or a biblical story.

At the end of each devotion is a pre-written sentiment from the perspective of a child to a mother based on the word gift mentioned.

Devotions include topics such as being joyful, unforgettable, forgiving, fearless, and much more.

Finally, at the back of the book, there are lined pages for the recipient of the book to write her reflections.

This sweet book is written for Christian moms of grown children and for those with children still living in the home. I recommend this book if you’re looking to give your mom something more lasting than a greeting card and much more meaningful than a box of candy.

This book is beautiful-- not only the reflections about motherhood, but also the lovely graphics. Pinks and greens, flowers--it's just so pretty! While I was reading, I felt as if I were having my own personal retreat, savoring each devotional.

The mother/daughter author team, Helen McIntosh and Blythe Daniel, have crafted a book that beckons you to a reflective space, one you want to stay in for a while. I kept turning pages! As I read, I found myself reacting on different levels. I thought of my mom, who at 96, is so precious to me. How blessed I am to still be able to tell her I love her--and to express my unending gratitude. The book also encourages you to think about your own journey as a mother. Lots of memories stirred within me. I'm glad I had a stash of Kleenex handy.

"I Love You, Mom!" acknowledges that being a mother isn't all rosy. The writings include space for processing disappointments, forgiveness, and offering grace. Perfectionism isn't the standard.

This lovely book is the perfect gift for an amazing mom in your life--or even for yourself. The authors have expressed the love and gratitude I feel in my heart in such a beautiful way. It's like a whole collection of Hallmark cards--but even better! I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend this book.

Blythe Daniels' and Helen McIntosh's lovely "I Love You, Mom!" is something I wish I'd received when I was a brand-new mom. It is full of Scriptures, devotionals, and letters that kids might have written their moms. All of these speak to some portion of a mom's life, in herself or that she's giving to her children: time and attention; abundant love; confidence; being able to overcome regrets; gifts and traditions; and more.

I felt truly encouraged as I read this. It is so full of life and love. But it also, honestly, helps moms to understand that when they say something they wish they hadn't, or missed a moment to listen to their child, that there can be redemption; that God is always there to love them and their child; to never leave them alone, and to bring purpose and grace.

This would be a beautiful gift for any mom, for any holiday or occasion. (Mother's Day is coming up!) It is physically beautiful, with lovely colors and illustrations. But the words themselves are words of life; just what we all need.

I Love You, Mom! Cherished Word Gifts from My Heart to Yours, would make a great gift for any mother, whether from children old or young. Each section of this book of reflections, starts out with a word and then the section revolves around the meaning of that word. Through out this devotional, there are plenty of verses and spaces to write some notes. There are also a few stories of mother-daughters, who have had different experiences and reflections that became blessings. The book is very colorful with its floral print inspirations, that alone cane put you in a good mood to enjoy it. Overall, it is a worthy read! Thank you.

It is such a great reminder that no matter what life throws our way, we can choose to love our moms with the love of Christ.
