Kiefer Marks. Rich Bad Boy Biker. Tattoo Artist. Chiseled Abs. My next-door neighbor for the last year. The hottest guy I’ve ever seen.
That pretty much sums up the guy I'm in love with. And oh yeah, he’s also the guy I’ve barely spoken to.
The thing is, I’m not his type. I’m the town librarian. I’m way too curvy—and much too shy.
They call him Mr. Big Stuff around town and I’m pretty sure the nickname is all about what he’s packing in those gray sweatpants he rocks when he goes to the gym. (I go to the bakery across from the gym and eat a doughnut--while waiting for him to come out all sweaty and hot.)
That’s why I watch him from a distance, daydreaming and putting his face in every fantasy that I can imagine. You would think that wouldn’t be very many for a virginal introvert who gets tongue-tied around the opposite sex, but I read a lot of romance books, and trust me, Kiefer Marks is the star in some very hot dreams.
It’s all harmless and never going anywhere. Until he kisses me and I start to believe in dreams....
When you have mixed emotions because your sorta friend zoned but he sends you mixed feelings. That's what Violet is going though. Moving to a new place she doesn't know anyone and has been sorta watching manhandled Kiefer from afar he's hot tattoo and yummy to bad she knows he doesn't go for bigger girls.. or so she thinks.. as for Kiefer he sees Violet watching him and he knows he should stay away so he friendzoned her which wasn't his best move since he does want her.. he's just not the husband type of guy.. until he spends more time with her.. now he's gotta prove to her he wants it all.. And show her he loves every inch of her.

Hot and sexy tattoo artist Kiefer is a self proclaimed life long bachelor, swearing he’s not the settling down type. Until he meets his new neighbor, the curvy, shy and sweet librarian, Violet. He forces her into the friend-zone, at first, in an attempt to keep her at arms length. But he has eyes only for her and the more time they spend together, the more they can no longer deny the love and passion they feel for each other!
I enjoyed reading this as I could relate to the characters, I liked that they both had issues, and that being together helped them to deal with them. Their connection, chemistry and passion could not be denied and I enjoyed seeing them get to know each other, grow and get their HEA.

I thought that this was an awesome book. I loved Violet and Kiefer together. I loved the connection and the chemistry between these two. I loved each interaction between these two; I think the pool was my favorite. I loved how Kiefer stood up for Violet. I really liked that Violet was able to grow and be able to stand on her up for herself. I loved this book and I would highly recommend it and Ms. Lily as a must read author.

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Kiefer and Violet. He believes that he is happy being single and has not plans to change anytime soon. However, when his new neighbor, Violet, catches his eye, he finds it difficult to stay away from her.

Quick and fun, Kiefer lived up to his nickname. He fights his feelings so hard for Violet but she is irresistible. Violet is sweet and unfortunately for her, says things that are embarrassing after she has already spilled them out. I really enjoyed their chemistry and the genuine affection between them. Can't wait to see the rest of the stories in this collab!
It was a good way to spend an hour. Some of the scenes were over the top and the ending was rushed and the passage of time in the epilogue didn't make sense, but they were sweet together.
This was a sweet girl next door/ age gap romance. I loved the chemistry between Violet and Kiefer, they just had such a strong connection right from the beginning. This was just such a sweet and steamy story and I loved it.
I absolutely loved this story and feel in love with Kiefer immediately. Violet is awesome and I love the chemistry these two have. It is another absolutely amazing story by L. Nicole , and the rest of the series is gonna be great as well.
i don’t really like hero’s who play games and don’t know what they want. this hero really disappointed me, and i hate when they admit there love for each other AFTER they have sex, it’s like… really? Heroine was kinda a idiot too, why would you sleep with someone when you know they don’t want to commit to you like you want them too?
v heroine, i think H is a manwhore slowinsta disappointed disappointing H disappointing h annoying h not alpha male enough no protection i love you’s AFTER SEX?? (that’s a no go for me) no after care shown hero played games push/pull from H pushover h slight ow drama (a girl had a crush on him and called the h fat) no om drama (there was one point where h got jealous of a guy who didn’t even like her) hea epilogue w/kids (first time i didn’t feel a connection between the parents and the kids) spicy lvl 3/5
Mindless fluffy escapist short story. Good lunchtime read, but nothing too exceptional. 3 stars.
Kiefer (H) is a tattoo artist in a small town in FL. He's attracted to his new neighbor Violet (h), a naive-looking librarian, but he's enjoying the single life too much to want to act on these sparks. Violet carries some self-esteem issues, and is confused by Kiefer's attention - extra confused by his mixed signals. Throw in some mean-girls antics from Violet's mom and another resident in the apartment complex, and they've got a few things to work out before their HEA.
Fairly typical insta-love romance short story, but nothing too objectionable. I liked the leads, though I did have a few objections/irritations.
I was a little confused about Violet's timeline - she was a new resident in town, having just graduated and moved for her job. But she was "out of school for 3 years" - was that high school, because I struggle to make that work with her higher education? Or was she actually a librarian, or a paraprofessional instead? A librarian is a Master's level education - even coming into college with lots of credits, she'd still need two years of post-grad work to get her MLS. So 20 might work, if she did graduate with her bachelors in just a year or so, but then what was that 3 years comment?
And while I liked Kiefer a lot, I got really frustrated with his arrogance. She's just 20, and he knows she's just 20, but she must be looking for the white-picket fence thing, (Big Man can just tell), so he's pushing her away, 'for her own good'. While she might want that long-term, it's really arrogant to make that decision that it is also what she wants now. Not every 20 year old (especially one who's just entering their career) is ready to settle down and start popping out little ones. It got a little old as his only objection for friend-zoning her. Conversation, maybe?
I was a little disappointed about the resolution. We'd rather waste time with the cliched "it's my sister" misunderstanding than spending a few more pages standing up to either Mean Girl in Violet's life? Would have been pretty satisfactory to seen Angel actually put in her place instead of what actually happened.
Clean editing, very few errors that were noticed.
Alternating 1st person POV. No cheating. No real love triangle (despite Angel's efforts). Not really OW drama, but definite Mean Girl drama from both Angel the neighbor and Violet's mom. Quick and pretty predictable, but still good for a lunchtime read. HEA and enjoyable epilogue. No cliffhangers.

Unforgettable Lover by Fern Fraser is part of the multi-author More Than Money series. Violet Little is almost twenty-one years old but she already have graduated college. Four months ago she moved from Georgia to Twin Bridge and took the job of librarian for their new library. This job suits her perfectly as she loves to read and romance is her thing. Kiefer Marks moved to Twin Bridge a couple of years ago and opened a tattoo shop. He is very talented and has clients who come from all over for his work. But he also has a very big secret that no one in town knows anything about. Kiefer and Violet live across the hall from each other in an apartment building. These two may be very different but they have an attraction that just cannot be denied. They do their best though as they become friends. But when Violet turns twenty-one things are about to explode as the confirmed bachelor finally lets his heart melt fully and it flows into a beautiful HEA.
This is an OTT, fast-paced, sizzling white hot sexy story. It was an entertaining read and a nice addition to this series.
This book brings us Kiefer and Violet. Kiefer and Violet are neighbors that have noticed each other for quite a while. Violet thinks that he would never be interested in her due to her weight and curves. This comes from years of her mother, a former Miss America, telling her she's fat and really needs to work on herself. Violet, however, is fine with how she looks, but still is bullied at times from others which does hurt her. Kiefer isn't interested in any kind of long term commitment, but there is just something about Violet that he can't stay away from. I really admired Violet with her openness and her self awareness. Kiefer was very protective of her and couldn't stay when she put herself down. Not only was Kiefer an amazing tattoo artist who had his own shop, but unknown to Violet, he was quite wealthy. It was so nice to see Kiefer realize how special Violet was and that he needed her in his life. This was an amazing read and I highly recommend it. I did receive an arc for an honest review.
I kinda am a sucker for a love story that came naturally and developed slowly but sure. Yes, both MCs had an initial attraction toward each other but each one of them had their own reservation. The H felt that h was forever kinda girl while he was a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am kinda guy; Not a good match. The h thought that he was out of her league since she was curvy and kinda shy while he was packing serious pack and being all muscly. So when they finally getting close in the pretence of being friends, the feelings bloomed. All things rolled from there.
So yeah, the story was every bit bittersweet. I got invested with the struggle of both MCs and how, together, they overcame it. So as I said, the love came naturally. After the friendship, hardship, and companionship. Sweet sweet loving.
Virgin h (sometimes) No condoms Bit drama with h's mom and bitchy neighbor No cheating, No OW/OM Dual PoV Safe read, HEA, epilogue Overall score: 4 courting stars
This book is part of the More than Money series and focuses on Kiefer and Violet. Keifer and Violet are instantly incredibly attracted to each other but Keifer firmly puts her in the friend-zone. He feels that she's a forever relationship type of girl aka marriage and babies and has no interest at the moment in ending his single life no matter how much he wants Violet. He is so drawn to her that he repeatedly seeks her out to spend time with her. The more time he spends with her the more he ends up falling for her. I loved how great Kiefer was with Violet and how he stood up for her against bullies (and against her when she talked down to herself). Their HEA was great too! This was such a great story! I can't wait for the rest of the series!

L Nicole joins the multi-author More Than Money series with Mr. Big Stuff. This opposites attract instalove is a deliciously steamy novella, with two very engaging characters. Kiefer owns a tattoo shop in town, making quite a name for himself, but what nobody know is that he is also a billionaire who happens to own the apartment building he lives in. Violet is new to town, a young, curvy, quiet librarian, insecure and sweet, having lived in the shadow of her beauty queen mother. Kiefer has no intention of ever settling down, but as soon as he lays eyes on Violet, he finds himself thinking and wanting things he never has before. Kiefer and Violet have chemistry in spades, and their story is a fast-paced, steamy novella you won't be able to put down.

Violet has had a crush on her neighbor, Keifer, since she moved into her new apartment. The quiet librarian knows that there is no way that he would every look at her but she sure can look at him! When he starts coming over for dinner every night, Violet starts to wonder if Mr. Big Stuff might be more into commitment than he thinks!
I really like Keifer and his all in attitude. Once he realizes that he wants something, he goes all in. Violet is just so sweet and perfect for the alpha male Keifer. This was another wonderful story from L. Nicole and I look forward to reading the other stories in this collaboration!

Violet and Kiefer have instant chemistry, but she is a shy wallflower trying to find her way and He is the ultimate tatted up playboy that can't see himself settling down any time soon. Dilemma..... Neither can stop thinking about one another and Kiefer goes out his way to see Violet because he can't seem to get her out of his mind and the more he tries to not thin about it, the more forever sounds like a pretty great thing. What a great fun read about finding yourself and one person that makes you want to be the person you were meant to be.
Violet has been stalking her neighbor hot and sexy Kiefer, a tattoo artist. Kiefer isn’t the settle down type so he avoids Violet even though he is attracted to her. He finally talks to her, of course she embarrasses herself but he finds it charming. A few more encounters and he can’t resist her so they start a relationship. She thinks it’s just temporary, he’s thinking forever, but of course he’s fighting it and he keeps reminding her he’s not a settle down kind of guy. When she admits she loves him, he’s shocked but happy and confesses he loves her too. Cute epilogue 18 months later with a daughter and another on the way.

Kiefer is a rich alpha in disguise. Violet is a quiet librarian who's new to town. She relocated to hopefully get out from under her mother's neglectful thumb and hugely overbearing shadow.
What I loved most about this book is the way that Kiefer defends Violet. Right from the start, even when he barely knew her he refused to allow others to talk badly about her. And when Mommy dearest shows up he steps up to the plate once again to make sure she is protected and happy.
A fast paced insta-love story to bring a big smile to your face.
I enjoyed this quick read about Kiefer and Violet. They have a quick pull to each other but at the same time they push each other away. I loved Violet, she’s a very smart young lady but has had so much hate thrown her way for so long that she has little to no self-esteem. I liked how he pushed to make her feel better about herself, encouraging her. The story flowed and I loved it from start to finish!

I enjoyed Violet and Kiefer's love story. Kiefer like to tell himself and others he was a confirmed bachelor but he forgot to tell his heart. He kept being drawn to Violet but would say they were just friends. Her mother was a piece of work and not a nice one. I found myself laughing in a few spots. Read it to see what happens. I really enjoyed this book.
This is a great book. Ms. Nicole has a gift with words and proves it with Keifer & Violet's story! They were perfect for each another. Keifer was amazing, he saw Violet as the beautiful woman she was, even chastised her each every time she insulted herself. I love that! The chemistry was palpable and their passion was off-the-charts! This was a great story and a sweet HEA. Must read!
Keifer and Violet are the fantastic couple this short read centers on. As with all of this author’s books, they are short and sexy with great storylines and characters. When these 2 finally get their stuff together - they are so flippin adorable. Great short read!!!
