Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I really enjoyed this book!
Evan and Evie met when he comes to Gratitude Peak and walks into the diner she is working at. Evan is a billionaire while Evie works hard to make ends meat. Evan comes into the diner to talk to Evie, he's stayed just so that he can get to know her. After Evie grabs his food she asks him to have dinner with her, with the encouragement from her friend Goldie Locked In. Evan tells her he'll make dinner for her, even though he's never made a meal. After Evan leaves he calls his brother Collin Served Hot for help to make dinner for Evie. When Evan gets to Evie's home he tries to cook for her but he ruins two of her pans and smoke fills her home. Evie then suggest they have cereal instead of Evan cooking. Evan starts to kiss Evie, soon she tells him she wants more, then he pleasures her. Evan takes her to her bedroom where they make love. A day later, when Evie asks Evan what does he do for a living he tells her he's in between projects, she assumes he's unemployed so she suggested he come and work at the diner as a busboy. Evan doesn't tells her no because it will give him a chance to be closer to her. Evie tells him he'll talk to her boss for him and try to get him a job. Evan starts working at the same diner Evie is working at. When Evan takes out the garbage he notices Evie sitting at a picnic table he goes to her and asks her what's wrong when he sees the red under her eyes. Evie tells him about the animal shelter she volunteers at, they're going to put done one of the dogs she's come to love, no one wants to adopt him. Evie's going to leave early so she can go and say goodbye. After Evie goes back to work, her boss comes out and confronts Evan about who he is, he tells him he better never hurt her. Evan makes a call before he goes back to work to make a donation to the animal shelter. After the rush from the diner is over Evie goes to talk to her boss, she thinks he's going to fire Evan. Evie talk him out of firing him, but her boss tells her he's loaded. Evie takes that as he's been drinking, her boss just shakes his head at her. Evie leaves and heads to the animal shelter, she finds out the dog was adopted by someone and the shelter received a generous donation. When Evie asks about the donation, she finds out it was given the Danes Inc, and she connects that to Evan. Evie finds out that one of Evan's brother's adopted the dog she was going to see. Evan is waiting in his car when Evie arrives home, he knows he needs to tell her. When she gets out of her car he realizes she know who he is and it's to late. Evan tells her he can explain, she asks him what. He tells her he didn't mean not to tell her, she asks him what that he's a billionaire. Evie asks him if this is a game to him, slumming it was a poor waitress in a small town. Evan tells her he can explain everything to her, Evie asks him if all his donations he thought that would get her to sleep with him. Evie tells him to explain why he didn't tell her who he was, he tells her he never told her he was unemployed, she just assumed. Evie tells him to leave, she tells him his game is over. Evan tells her no and pulls her body close to his. Evan tells her when he first seen her, he didn't know her name, he couldn't leave town until he knew her. Evie tells him he knows her now he can leave. Evan tells her he can't just walk away from her, she tells him she doesn't even know him. Evan tells her she does, no one has known him like she has. Evie tells him he's going to break her heart, Evan tells her to just give him a chance one chance is all he's asking. Evie asks him how would they even work, her life is here, Evan tells her than he's moving here. Evan tells her she's it for him, she asks him what if he changes his mind. Evan tells her he won't, not about her about them. Then Evan kisses her like she knew he would. They head inside of Evie's home, they head to the bedroom and strip out of their clothes. Evie tells Evan to wait, he tells her if she wants him to slow down they can. Evie tells him no are there any other secrets he needs to tell her. Then Evan flew Evie to Spring Florida to met his other brothers Walker, Grayson, and Davis along with his fiancé Toni Knocked Up by the Best Friend. Then they stopped in Arizona so that she could met his parents. When they got back to their new home, Evan put a ring on Evie's finger. He didn't asks her he didn't want to give her a chance to give him an answer he didn't want. Evie is pregnant but they are waiting to tell everyone. Evan knows he's blessed beyond measure. He has a good life, his family was healthy, and the future felt somehow brighter. And it had nothing to do with his bank account. A few years later, they have a daughter and two sons and Evie is pregnant. Evie is happier than she ever thought possible. Evan wants to go look at a puppy at the shelter, Evie agrees. Evie tells him she loves him and Evan tells her he loves her she's his everything. Evie know life is very good.

If you’re looking for quick, steamy, and some desperation when Evan realizes he’s close to losing Evie, this is the perfect way to pass some time. Evan is the angel in disguise, but he’s not doing any of these good deeds for accolades. Oh, no. He’s doing them for love. For the woman he’s been too afraid to make his until now. When Evie makes the first move, Evan sees his chance and lunges. But when his secret is revealed and it’s NOT by him, he’s willing to say and do anything to make Evie understand that she’s it for him. And that means making her happy whenever possible.
This was a sweet read that had me tearing up a bit (Grimm), but also gave me a good break from the stress of the day, so if you want a quick read that packs a punch, this is a great choice.

Mr. Fix-It can fix me anytime! Evan Danes is another swoony Danes brother that fell in love at first sight. He also happens to be a billionaire. When he first sees Evie, a waitress at a diner, he knows she's the one. When Evie finds out that Evan is a billionaire, she isn't happy that he lied to her. She can't help but wonder what he sees in a small town waitress like her, when he could have any woman, that's more beautiful. Can Evan convince her that his feelings are real? I loved Evan and Evie's story. Even their names sound cute together. I can't wait to read Walker's story, and also Grayson's.

Sweet and Steamy
I believe this is a new author for me. I read this thru KU but bought it for my collection. I then went and got the next book, Locked In, regarding the brother of the Male Main Character of this book. I got it thru KU and will buy if it is steamy like this one. This book had 2 steamy scenes😍. I hope her other books keeps with that, I really like steamy books, lol, I know that not everyone does but that is my jam. This book is also sweet, short, and low drama. I had been reading books that were pretty intense and wanted to take a break and this was perfect 😍 🤩
I will be checking more of this author’s books.

Pretty fast paced
Probably should be an additional warning at the beginning to buckle your seat belt and hold on because of the wild start to the finish and I feel like I blinked somewhere. I haven’t read the other books written but it seems like there’s more books to add to my list now.

A very good book
Enjoyed reading the love story between Evan and Evie. Evan was in CA taking care of some business, stopped in the next town over ands met Evie working in the diner. He was awestruck by her. He had to stay to win her over.You'll have to read why he is called Mr. Fix-It. Of course, they do hit a snag in their relationship. It's really a good book.

Absolutely loved the newest book in the More than Money series. Evan and Evie were so perfect for each other. Love how they both find their perfect ending. Mayra always gives us that five star.
