Soul Sisters
One of the best Christmas stories I have read. Four young girls of different ages and personas with one thing in common. They are all foster care children. The first story tells the background of the girls and the things they have been through their insecurities and dreams. This part broke my heart and warmed it at the same time. They formed bonds and became a family of soul sisters. Maggie,a school counselor who lost her husband and daughter in a car accident, as moved to adopt one girl. She and her mother were excellent role models and did everything they could support and guide them to become confident young women.
Fast forward fifteen years. The girls are all grown with different careers and lives but remain in constant contact. When a wedding is cancelled days before the event they decide to still spend Christmas and New Year's Eve at the ski lodge where the wedding was to be held. The events of that week changes all their lives.this was well written and thought provocative. The family solidarity and the way they supported each other was the main emphasis and was a lovely thing to experience.

The Soul Sisters at Cedar Mountain is a wonderful set of books about FAMILY - the kind that are related by love rather than blood. These girls and Maddie, the wonderful woman who adopted them, are introduced in Soul Sisters and then profiled years later as adults. Their stories of love and family are heartwarming and uplifting. Despite having different authors, the books fit together beautifully. I am so glad there will be another set of books in 2021! These were delightful. Warning: you will crave hot chocolate and not be able to put them down!

These are the stories of Maddie and each of her foster/adopted girls. It starts out with Maddie, who has suffered the tragic loss of her husband and child in an accident. She decides to take in a foster girl for Christmas, but it turns into 4 girls. Each book in this series starts with that girl's coming to Maddie and then forward to 15 years later as each girl returns for one of the soul sister's weddings.

Great holiday read
Loved these connected stories, and though written by different authors, they stayed true to the characters. The stories bring together how each character, an adoptive Mom with a tragic back story, and her 4 adopted daughters who have each experienced their own tragedies, find love during the holiday season. The grandmother, though a minor character, is a hoot!

Family
This is a awesome series about family. I was right there with them through the good and bad times. The storyline is wonderful as are the characters. I can’t wait to catch up with them again and see what is happening in their lives. I am amazed how these different authors just keep the flow of the story going. Loved it!!

Very entertaining!
I was caught up in this series of stories, first, because I have two adopted children who are now grown, but also because the characters are all so different, just as my four now adult children are. I very much enjoyed their stories and it was a fun set to read over the holidays.

Christmas stories!
I love reading Christmas love stories to help get me in the Holiday spirit. This group of stories filled the bill perfectly. Light reads with endearing characters, woven together perfectly by several different authors. Bravo, ladies!

A great read
It was definitely a great read and was not confusing like some multi author books. It definitely was a life book and how everyone can struggle yet be very close family. It is love and the simple things that matter.

I am enjoying this series immensely. All of the characters have their own struggles, but still are open to love.
