I was fortunate to attend a UX Book Club where they featured Cory's book. We even had a Q&A session with him on live video! Since that point, I have become a huge fan of Cory Lebson and really appreciate the work he is doing in the UX community. Over the past 3 years, I have been transitioning into a UX design role without much experience initially in the field. I have been learning as I go and building off of a standard graphic design degree. This book filled in all the missing pieces I needed and really confirmed that I was in the right field now. Turns out there are a lot of other people that stumbled into this field and discovered they loved it! I have a ton of homework now after finishing the book but every step has been laid out in an easy to follow format. So many links! So many resources! I highly recommend this book for ANYONE in a UX related field. It's not just for designers, it's for writers, programmers, researchers and more!
