I read the first book, and it was amazing, but the second book is so super amazing! The characters are so well done that I think to myself, man how does someone create characters like this with wildly distinct personalities. I also enjoy that the pacing. It's not too slow or too fast, but as Goldie locks says, 'IT'S JUST RIGHT!'. I'm never lost in a scene and I hardly ever had to read read a section (mostly because I get too excited that I'm not paying attention!) I love this book and I'm going to be big sad when the series is over!

Absolutely LOVED this book! I was so excited to see where this story went and it kept me intrigued the whole time - action, suspense, and so many emotions - I didn't want to put it down! Now I will impatiently wait to for the third book in this series...can't wait for more adventure!

Firstly, thank you to the author for sending me an ARC. It is an honour to get to review not only The Nameless but The Prophet as well!
*Spoiler alert!*
Absolutely amazing sequel. I could not put the first book down but the sequel?! I could not imagine that the book could get even better. It is a strong 5 stars from me.
The writing got better, even though I picked up on a few repetitions. The plot took me aback. Dahlen, previously known as Tigress, finally got answers to the questions she was asking from a little age. She found out who her father was, who and how found her and rescued her after her mother was slaughtered, what is her meaning in the story.
The first book ended with her being pregnant and I was really curious to find out what happens next. I did expect a happy ending and it just did not happen?! Dahlen gave up her daughter and needed to move on fast. She had another task to complete. It was a big turnover in her life. I felt bad for her losing her child so soon after giving birth, almost being killed in between by the way. It just proves what a strong female character she is.
The new characters in the story made me giggle quite a few times! The Defiant especially. Her 'everyone is annoying me' attitude and constant men threathening of cutting the private part off made me chuckle. Especially in the scene where Dahlen was being so serious and all Defiant cared about was which way would be better to cut it off, haha.
Do you remember The Master? The lovely man who took Dahlen under her wing? Yeah, apparently he's not such a goody goody as he might seem at first! But I will not say anything else about him because you need to find out yourself what happens in the end.
The gods were mainly mentioned at the end, building up excitement for the next book, which I hope will be written and published soon!
The only thing I could pick on is I really wanted to find out what happened with Dahlens daughter. But I decided to not put a star down because I had so many questions left unanswered after the first book, which were answered in the sequel. I see what an author is doing here! But I cannot complain!
The Prophet definitely will be added to my favourite bookshelf. And even though I've received an ARC, I'm planning to purchase the paperbacks and reread them in the future!

If there is something that I love about @author.k.m.bishop’s continuation of The Coven of the Nameless series is the deep understanding of character. The main protagonist continues her struggle of the inner self as she continues to battle the names and identities that surround her life. As the Tigress, her coven training burns in her blood, her life as AnnJella means embracing her life as the descendant of a prophet, and being Dahlen means she can strive towards the future to obtain the answers that have haunted her years.

For fans of These Rebel Waves and Throne of Glass this series is definitely recommended to you!

This novel will leave you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next, every prediction of yours being wrong, but left impressed with the direction the book takes the reader on. Definitely an incredible read I'd highly recommend for anyone interested in books about assassins that are not your typical story. Sequels have a habit of not being as good as the first book, but not in this series. Well done, author❤👏
