About the author

MJ Ray is a mother, author and childminder who lives in Manchester, England with her husband, two children and dog. They spend their summers caravanning with their friends in between having to work.

With her love of being outside, even though the Manchester weather sometimes interferes with her plans, she loves to type away in the sunshine. She always dreamed to write and is inspired to write clean teenage romance, as so many YA books were unsuitable for her teenage daughter to read.

Cheating? - Technically no, however both the hero and heroine sleep with other people, and there is quite a detailed scene of the heroine sleeping with another man, but even though the hero and heroine have slept with each other at this point, they are both adamant, for their own reasons, they will not have a relationship, so technically, no cheating
HEA? - Yes
Would I read more by this author/or in this series? - Yes

I actually beta read this a couple of months ago, and decided to grab it on KU and re read it after publication.

Despite me having some issues around certain things for example, wishing Kelly had not chosen a certain path with Jacob, in sleeping with him and why something BIG had to happen to be the catalyst for a change within Kelly and Andreo's relationship.

But, overall, this was probably my favourite of the series, and once the whole Jacob situation was out of the way, I really enjoyed the book. Both main characters were more flawed than previous couples in the series, imo, and it made it a more riveting read, experiencing their bumpy path to a HEA. And it had a truly wonderful epilogue to tie of the series for all 3 couples.

Trigger warning Kelly decided to turn to escorting to clear some debt from a loan shark, and Jacob is her "boss" who she does sleep with once. She is stopped from carrying on and actually sleeping with any clients by Andreo

4 Emotional Stars

I feel like the author put my feelings into a blender and mixed it all up!! I totally dislike both the H/h but I grew to love them. They got on my nerves to the point I had to put the book down and walk away from it.

You got the bad boy who fell for the insecure and in debt girl. Andreo does not do relationships and that is what he wants but he was falling for Kelly fast. Kelly is in some trouble and ends up choosing the wrong path and consequently lead the hero into action. That being said I can't really give out that much infos. So read it. Love the epilogue cause it ties all previous characters into one.

I can't wait for the next book from this author.

I seriously wanted to go into this book and bang Ando and Kelly's heads together , this story is so worth a read as are all the books in this series. Give it a read you won't be disappointed xx

This is a reread for me. Read this a few years ago and had it on my mind. I only rated the book and never reviewed it. So here is my review. It was still just as good as when I originally read it back in 2016.

Andreo and Kelly have a love/hate relationship. Both are afraid to show affection because of their upbringings. I loved their push and pull. Andreo did break my heart during karaoke though. I hated him then. The part right after brought tears to my eyes.
The plot was okay with this one. I always want more action and drama with my romances. Loved/hated the characters.

omg i love a cheeky bad boy and u certainly get one in this story - you have all the ingredients for a hot steamy romance - which it is but this book out of the trilogy is also very emotional - i could not put it down AMAZING !! A MUST READ !!! izzy has the rare talent todrawyou inside the book and u actually feel for the characters- the epilogue was outstanding - cant wait for her next release

This is book three in The Castell Brother's Series and it is Kelly and Andreo's story and omg it is definitely a must read. When Kelly was kidnapped along with Abi and Elsa it was Andreo that took care of Kelly making sure that she was okay but even though they spent the night together nothing else will happen as Kelly had her heart broken years ago and didn't do relationships and Andrei believes that he can never love of do a relationship so he just does one night stands. Andreo is a UFC fighter and now that his career as taken off it is making him more successful but he has a dark past because of the things that he has done. The more time that Kelly and Andreo spend together the stronger there connection and chemistry between them grows and it is so not and intense that you could feel it sizzling of the pages of this book. There are so many emotional situations that I was in tears with everything that was happening and I couldn't put this book down as it was a real page turner that kept you on the edge of your seat wondering what would happen next and it was so addictive. I definitely recommend you read this book and others by Izzy Williams as she is an amazing author and writer and I can't wait to read more of her books in the future.

It's a perfect relationship for two people who've given up on love and closed their hearts. They hit it whenever they feel like it and go on. Then circumstances change. Andreo asks Kelly to be his pretend significant other. They can do it right? No love, no emotions. Should be easy. Except it doesn't feel like they don't have any feelings between them. It doesn't feel like they're just hooking up. It feels like we're making love. That's different right? Problem is, even though Kelly may start to thaw, Andreo will never let someone break through.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. The third book in the Castell Brothers series is about Andreo and Kelly. These two have their own share of baggage and avoid anything permanent. There is a lot of drama, struggles and heat in this story. Andreo proposes a fake relationship to benefit them both. Things are far from simple though and trouble follows. They begin to develop a relationship thru it all. Good storyline and characters

I'm undecided on my thoughts for this one. On one hand I liked the story well enough, it was nice to be UK written not US. I liked that the Lake District scenes were honest to rural living in the UK. I was frustrated that it took them both so long to come to their realisations. There were points where more background would have helped, I havent read the first books. Also this isn't a recent book and from reviews doesn't appear to have been updated.

Kelly and Andreo's story will put you through the ringer! their push and pull sizzles with tension, they both believe they can not love, but cant deny their attraction and growing feelings no matter how long they deny them for. but is their just a glimmer of hope for the pair? well written, steamy, emotional, action packed, desire filled and more!

This is the 3rd book in the Castell Brothers Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Kelly & Andreo; she moves to Spain trying to run from the debt she owes but she’s followed; he’s a fighter and offers to help her.

This was my first read from this author. This is the story about Kelly and Andreo, told in the dual, first person point of view which is always a deal breaker for me. This was a good read. I really enjoyed and I read it in one sitting. I will be reading more from this author in the future.
