The story of Annabel
From the book's title I thought this was about a child born in a workhouse and what happened to her. Not about a midwife mother, her daughter, the father, and all the young men in her life.

The book sped over years of betrayal, drugs, abandon, poverty & wealth. Throw in births, marriages, deaths & murder, and you have an intriguing story.

So much misery in this story.Felt so sorry for poor Rosalind.To finally be mentally well and to die. I'm glad that it had a happy ending.

I loved this book. It’s such a awesome story. I love this author she knows what she is writing about and is a great story teller.
