Oh, this series is so exciting with many thrills, chills, characters you will adore and hate with a passion! There is something for everyone in this sparkling story, crime, undercover cops, intense relationships some good some very bad!! This author writes an intriguing story that will keep you turning pages quickly to find out what happens next, with so many twists and turns you have no way of guessing which way it will go.
I loved the relationship between some of the characters, especially Jordan and Damien, as Lana tries to find out about her child's father, some women who grew up in a strange foster home start receiving objects in the mail. Who is sending them, and Why?! They look like the items they knew as young girls, but they just can't be real...Can they?!..
A fantastic story that leaves you ready for more, and still thinking about the endearing characters, long after you finish the book. I received an ARC from the author and offer you my honest thoughts and feelings in this review.

Shadowed Footsteps is book 2 in The Twisted Deception Suspense Thriller Mystery Series. All the stories in this series are written as stand alone novels. But there is a background story that connects them all. Maggie Thom is a gifted author. This is a unique novel. It kept me spellbound from page one to the very last word! The tension and relationships are beautifully written and will keep readers coming back for more. I got chills up my spine more than once. I can't wait to see what happens next. I gave this honest, voluntary review after being given a free copy of the novel.

This story continues from Fostered Identity. The characters are older and their history is becoming part of their present. Lana has found her daughter's father, but what kind of man is he now? She has to know if she will allow him in her life. Shelia has gotten one of Mrs. Stephanos 'baubles' after her foster mother has passed away. Why would anyone send her a worthless piece of jewelry? There are questions, but what are the answers? I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This is a cracking thriller, full of twists and turns all the way through. To an ending you don’t see coming. This author certainly knows how to weave a fantastic thriller that’s for sure. What are we going to get next I wonder. Highly recommended.

This is a continuation of "Fostered Identity". Lana finds her daughter's father, but will this bring. There is a lot going on in this novel. Jewelry being mailed to certain people, undercover police, drug gangs, danger and murder. An ending I did not see coming.
