The horror game host Xiao Tangqiu crossed into a horror game.
He hadn’t yet cleared the instance when he met a man who was exactly like his childhood friend who had been dead for many years.
Where did this cold and powerful mysterious man come from? Why did the brutal killing games happen so frequently? Why did his teammates go crazy in the middle of the night? Who was the ultimate mastermind behind all of this… Was it a distortion of human nature or moral decay?

I found this novel after abandoning several books because of their unbearably perfect and surreal protagonists. And that is unexpectedly the strong point of this story: Xiao Tangqiu is a normal guy. He has no special talents or prodigious luck. Although sometimes I whised he was a little more charismatic or intelligent, I find him quite endearing.
The novel is quite normal. It has its funny moments and other boring ones. I didn't get interested in the subplots of each arc. Most of them made no sense. However, I didn't like the ending at all.
First, because from a certain point the story becomes absurdly chaotic. There are implausible twists and others that didn't convince me.
Second, because the "happy ending" is very forced. Although the dynamic between the two protagonists is quite cute and funny, the novel has a very toxic message.
Torn on how to rate this one. If it were the 1st third, I'd give a 2 star- stopped reading most BG novels for a reason... but I stuck past and it got a lot better and the characters stopped OOC-ing as much. Plot does tie together. Towards the end all of the suspicions I casted away came back, so points to the author for integrating cliches in a novel way such that I was thinking- no way... right? Would say novel started at a 2 star annoying protagonist, then started getting better as the MC starts understanding the world more, and the ending is ... cute.
DNF:ok so I only dint finish since wattpad dint have the rest of the pages. but still this book was still great! I think I just enjoy the interactions! I don't care all that much for the boring part like the fighting...which probably meant I should have picked a different book lol. But I like tang and the characters! the main character is very cool and likable! and the romance is a confusing slow burn....still enjoy it tho!
I really enjoyed that one, but a few things made it miss the 5 stars : 1) It's called Game, Live Stream but there is basically no stream. It's a flaw for me bc I picked it up for this trope, as it's one of my favorite settings 2) The whole part with a sticky Shen Yuan got old really quickly. I understand the decision to do it but did not like it
The twist was nice tho, and the instances were fun
It was a very interesting premise, although it takes quite a bit of time for the plot to start moving, and the pacing of the story in general is very weird. I liked the worldbuilding. Each of the missions is very well written and has a good mystery.
The main couple is actually kinda cute, but i wish they'd had more time to develop. The ending was a bit anticlimactic but ultimately not bad.
Overall a good read and i do recommend for fans of transmigration and game settings.
