Horrendous , not even a book, read it on a short flight, completely and utterly useless, I would have left it on the plane but then someone else might have read it and I didn't want to do that to someone.

I really appreciate the first hand knowledge that Scott brings to the conversation. He’s worn the hat of aspiring sales leader, successful VP of Sales several times, and even CEO, so he can speak to the dynamics of these relationships.

Scott does a great job explaining what makes a successful VP of Sales: someone who understands what motivates them, finds ways to connect those motivators to smaller goals, and inspires the members of their team to do the same.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone hoping to become a VP of Sales or hoping to become a better one.

This book is very high level and will be good for non-sales professional.

I was initially excited over all the reviews I have read online.

As a sales professional and an individual contributor, I find that it values add very little to what I already know.

I've read and re-read this book so many times. First as a wanna be head of sales, and now in my first head of sales role. Cannot recommend this enough as a kickstart to drive leaders forward.

I don't even feel right adding this to my reading goal in 2024. The most high-level overview I have ever read (most definitely not a playbook). A lot of TELLING and not showing.
