Love this series!
I highly recommend this series for anyone that has a snarky sense of humor and love some grumpy heroes and sassy heroines. Can't wait for more!!

Shifter, origin story romance
Wilos, the male shifter lead, was by far my favourite secondary character in hehe previous story and I was thrilled when the author wrote his story. I was amused that Verity, the female witch lead, was his partner; it gave their minimal interactions in the first story new weight.
This story is dual POV, well written, and I greatly enjoyed the character and relationship development, and chuckled at so many moments.

3.5 ⭐️ I actually quite enjoyed the player turned grump in Wilos and Verity was a firebrand. I appreciated their tug of war and shed some tears which always gives a boost in the star rating for me. The epilogues provided some closure I wanted but also left me with a bunch of questions which I don’t love so much when I’m not completely confident those questions will be answered at some point, I guess we’ll see

This prequel hit so much better and fit into the series than the first. It was cute and deals with the aftermath of the first prequel, but without the confusion. Wilos was definitely a fave character and I loved the twist with the ancestors at the end! Much better than the first!

He's the alpha of the shifter pack and she's a baker who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. After witnessing some sketchy suits snatch and grab some kind of bird man she is whisked away to the shifter clan for her own protection. There she meets the bear shifter alpha and his adorable daughter. More and more supernaturals are being kidnapped and he's gotta figure out why while also keeping this mad woman safe.
