A Suspenseful Surprise
The stories in this book are all very good ghost stories. One of the stories is hilarious.
There are recurring characters in this book. Harley and his ghost seeing brother, James. They appear in two different stories.
And George, the security guard, or watchman, appears in several stories. The last story is an “epic” compared to the others.
But in all honesty they are all very good stories.

Source of ghosts
This is a different type of ghost story. Story unfolds quietly, though the reader has some suspension hint as to probable outcome. I wish story had a more clear and complete ending. Still a good read.

Kenny Wayne doesn’t just go down the horror road; there’s wit, warmth, and moments that surprised me. The stories range from spooky suspense to laugh-out-loud paranormal fun (The Hearse Drivers is a standout). Even when the plot feels quiet and contemplative, you feel the weight of the supernatural it’s playing with.

This was a good book, I was expecting murder considering the title haha but it was still a good book and I loved the ending it was bittersweet!
