Three Years Ago, Tamira Brown survived and unspeakable night. What went down that night, is simply known as the Clown Attack of The South. It still rings out as local folklore, much to Tamria’s annoyance. If it were up to her. She’d have everyone forget the night. She’d slip away and find a life somewhere different. Somewhere that didn’t carry the weight of being the last surviving member of the Brown family. But, she can’t… At least for another year when she turns eighteen. For now, she’s stuck in a girl’s group home in Roswell, South Carolina. And for the most part, things seem to be going back to normal. As much as normal can be for her. Tamira is slipping into her new life in a new town. She’s growing closer to her boyfriend, Jared Tak, who survived an attack with her that night. She’s even made a new friend at the group home. Everything seems to be looking up, until…The visions come out of nowhere. At first, they seem like nightmares… but the more they happen, the more she can feel the realness of them. Soon, Tamira can’t escape them. She’s thrown into a living nightmare and all she can do is watch as those who attacked her years ago fight to find her again. For those who were behind the attack all those years ago are back and they want Tamira. Seen as the savior of their kind, the group will do anything to get her into their ranks. They will do whatever it is to get her… And they’ll do it with a smile. From the Author of Teen Camp Bloody Murder & Revenge Party, comes to newest book in the Teen Slasher Anthology series. Follow Tamira as she fights for her life and tries to escape the nightmarish Clowns once and for all.
Ever since I was younger I've been an avid reading and dreamer creating worlds as I read. Or expanding the worlds I was reading about. As time went on I started writing. Over the years, I've been working and writing but mostly just for fun. I've been heavily influenced by Stephen King and amazed at what he creates.
When I'm not reading or getting lost in a video game, you can find me writing away. I'm always working on my next few projects.
This book was a bit of a mess. There were so many typos I lost count.
Things like using: bag instead of bang She instead of see Too instead of to. Wondered instead of wandered Rouge instead of rogue
The plot was all over the place. A lot of things that happened didn't make sense. This book read like a first draft. There were so many ideas going on and it was chaos from start to finish and could have benefitted from an editor and beta readers.
That all being said, I did find myself easily swept up into the story. You can't go wrong with a killer clown cult! I liked that it starts in the middle of things and doesn't waste much time getting to the action. I flew through the pages and was curious what was going to happen next and how it was all going to play out. The potential is here, but this one needs some serious refining.
Halloween Rating: (Only rating how heavily halloween features/influences the story) I read this as part of my annual halloween themed horror marathon. With a title like this I expected this one to be very halloween heavy, but unfortunately, it was more story that just happened to happen on halloween. It could've taken place any time, really so for that reason this one gets 1/5 🎃
