Belle Armstrong owns the Candies Galore store on Dewberry Lane. Many consider her an old maid because she has no man in her life. With Christmas being her busiest time of the year, she can’t spare a minute to think about men.

Caleb Bligh is merely passing through Dewberry, and certainly has no intention of staying there. When circumstances arise making it imperative for him to remain for an extended period, he meets up with Belle.

Now his carefully worked out plans have gone astray, can Belle entice Caleb to stay?

Walking down the street and watching people go about their day-to-day life, but thinking strange, even dangerous things.

I still clearly remember the day I stood at the traffic lights in downtown Melbourne. There she was, sitting in her car, waiting for the lights to change green. Tapping her fingers impatiently.

Something inside my head went off. Kaboom! An idea formed, and became the beginning of a novel.

Instead of sitting patiently at the lights, she was nervous, extremely anxious as she was being pursued by killers. The next thing she knew, an angry, crazy man was slamming her windscreen with a sledgehammer and she was running for her life.

Yes, the life of a writer is quite unique.

Belle e Caleb tem mais em comum do que imaginam, e preparar doces para o Natal pode levar os dois a tomarem um rumo para suas vidas que nem sequer imaginavam.

Já para a alegria da Sra. Grayson, não poderia ter seus doces favoritos produzidos por ninguém menos que esse casal que ela quer juntar a todo custo.

Porém por mais que se sintam atraídos e apaixonados, o casamento é um passo muito grande para os dois.

Caleb é caxeiro-viajante e acaba ficando preso em Dewberry Lane por causa da nevasca. Em seus períodos ociosos e tediosos o que ele mais gosta de fazer é observar Belle usando seus produtos e ajudá-la no quer que pudesse.

Belle, embora desconfiada, acaba aceitando a ajuda de Caleb e percebe que não só gostaria de aprender com ele mas também de tê-lo ao lado dela todos os dias.

Uma nevasca pode ser capaz de fazer Caleb e Belle mudarem suas vidas e buscarem por um final feliz.

I have had the pleasure of reading the first three books from Cheryl Wright’s Christmas on Dewberry Lane series. I was excited to have the opportunity to read the newest release, Belle. Even though it is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone. I adored Belle’s character. It was a joy when she met Caleb and seeing how they interacted with one another. This quick read was such a delight to read. I loved it from start to finish.

Belle is getting a very well deserved five plus stars from me. I highly recommend it for readers who are looking for a sweet and clean Christmas time romance. I am looking forward to reading the fifth installment from the Christmas on Dewberry Lane series, Merry, to see where else Cheryl Wright’s imagination will take me to.

Caleb é um caixeiro viajante, que passou pela cidade para vender seus produtos, porém uma nevasca o fez impossível sair, e agora ali estava ele, passando seu tempo com a dona da loja de doces da cidade, porém ele esconde um segredo, ele é filho de um renomado fazedor de doces, e claro que uma certa casamenteira ajuda com um empurrão, mas nada que o destino e Deus já não tivesse resolvido. Belle e dona da loja de doces, e ao receber um caixeiro viajante, ela tem uma surpresa, pois ele sabe como criar doces, mas ele também a conquistou, e agora ela teme com sua partida, mas a nevasca esta dificultando a saída dele, e agora ali estava a verdade era para estarem juntos. Bjo.

A sweet Christmas treat!

Belle has a cute little candy shop that is her life but she finds Caleb very distracting, he is far too handsome, confident and smooth, she is far better on her own.....isn't she?
Caleb is drawn to both the candy store and Belle, but spending too much time with Belle risks both his heart and his secrets!
A lovely novella to get you in the Christmas spirit, I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Another great story in this series! I’ve been waiting on pins and needles for this to come out!

Very sweet (and not just due to the candies lol) and romantic story. Belle was a confirmed spinster and Caleb a traveling salesman with no intentions of marrying. Of course, Mrs. Grayson has other ideas ❤️

A Sra. Grayson pouco fez por Belle e Caleb. Só um empurrãozinho quando descobriu que ele era o filho de um doceiro famoso.

Caleb estava de passagem por Dewberry como caixeiro viajante, entrou na loja de doces de Belle para vender aventais. Se encantou por ela e a chamou para jantar.

Mas ele estava para ir embora. Como, se ele se apaixonou por Belle?

Um final delicioso e cheio de carinho!

I like how the two characters are really well matched in every way. The town matchmaker is always a treat. She is such a lovely, kind, and generous character. The ending is satisfying as well. A good read.
