Things have been quiet in Twilight Hollow. Too quiet. When a hiker finds a valuable pirate coin, the townsfolk think they’re in for a bit of fun. But no one expected the treasure hunt to end in murder.
Armed with nothing but her wit, her cat, and a pendulum, Addy tries to help the ghost of the deceased while staying out of the grave herself. The dark magic is back with a new plan, forcing Addy to work with Damon, despite both Max and Logan wanting to keep her out of the clutches of a murderer.
Will the dark magic trick Addy into freeing it? Will a seemingly unsolvable murder be solved? Find out in Feline Charm, book four of the Twilight Hollow Cozy Mystery series.
Same comment as always. This series would be 4 or 5 star worthy if they did some character development; some world development; and some better twists. It’s a cute world and cute premise; totally still reading them all because they are so short but it could be more.
Addy has become ever more powerful now that she is not only a channelling witch but also a necromancer with a familiar she can communicate with mind to mind, however in this the 4th Twilight Hollow cozy mystery she needs all her magical powers and wits about her, as she once again comes up against the ancient evil warlock spirit of Atticus. He is trying to overpower Damon, the necromancer whose brother had been killed and who in turn had killed a young woman, so Addy really had no wish to work with him but she knew that two powers were better than hers alone. She had her coven made up of her two sisters, her mother and her aunt and the support of both Logan and Max who were out to watch her back, but could she do what she set out to do? Atticus needed to be banished once forever if she was ever to live safely. Apart from this Addy also got roped in by a newly murdered ghost, who had no idea he was dead, and whose murderer she needed to find before helping him pass on. The murder case was very convoluted and poor Seth had nearly faded away before the mystery was solved. Both the ghost and another powerful augmentor, Elliot gave the group their full support yet this book ends on quite the cliffhanger which makes me wish I had book 5 in my hands to go on reading. Spooky as always is the most amazing familiar ever!
This is an entertaining Supernatural cozy mystery series. If I’m cast of characters and an entertaining storyline. Adelaide O’Shea otherwise known as Addie is a witch in a small town. So she helps a detective solve the murders and mysteries while trying to stay ahead of the darkness filled magic spirit that is roaming around the town. Read on and follow the adventure and see what happens.
Holy cliffhanger! This book showed a lot of growth in the characters. I didn’t imagine I would enjoy this series so much but I read this installment in one day. The love triangle has formed, as I suspected, and I honestly feel like Logan the detective is a better fit for Addy than Max. There’s something about Max that makes me feel like he’s hiding something about himself. I also didn’t like the controlling energy he exuded, almost treating Addy like she couldn’t handle herself when she had been long before he knew what was going on. I do hope that Damon and Elliot become a part of the series as friends to Addy. I also enjoyed the elevated conversation with Spooky. I’m diving in to the next book asap.

This series keeps improving. I am enjoying it, Adelaide is dating Max, she also fancies the detective and works with him. She tells Max the truth about herself, while a young man dies and her sister is falling in love with the ghost. They run around trying to solve his murder and also deal with the threat of Atticus, but the problems ramp up and Atticus is determined to get his own way. Damon needs saving and the fifth book is there ready, so I am off to read it next to find out what happens.
When I first found this series, I was unsure if I would like it however after the first few chapters I can honestly say I adore these book!. Sara Christene has a wonderful way with words and her characters are excellently fleshed or non fleshed out. Lol. I highly recommend all if her works I have read so far, and can't wait to read more.
This one seemed like it dragged on, but it was a nice little plot twist. Addy seemed more like a teenage girl whining rather than a mid 30s woman dealing with life. The Epilog was an "oh shit" moment with a huge twist you don't see coming. I'm still wanting Addy and Logan to be endgame.
The more I read the more I fall in love with Addie and her coven. Even Max and Logan. This was a bit lacking and finished it in record time as it felt a bit like a filler book. On to the next!
This book of the series is as exciting as the previous ones. I would like more interaction with the familiars, like there is with "Spooky". The characters are more likable with each book. Getting ready to read the last one.
Each book is more interesting. I'm really enjoying the characters and seeing how the overall plot for the series develops. I can't wait to see what happens next.
Okay, I admit it, I'm kind of obsessed with this series. 4 books in 4 days (and only that many because I have a full time job and a toddler) I am loving these characters and the story!
This one didn’t quite hit the same for me. It felt like it dragged in parts and I lost a bit of interest along the way. That said, I still finished it and I do want to carry on with the series — the cozy, witchy vibe is always enjoyable, even if this instalment wasn’t my favourite.
