A Thug Trying To Be A Gentleman
Kendra, Excellent read! I loved meeting Ace and Easton, both of them were women magnets, whores and never wanted to be with one woman. Ace was a brilliant young man that has the weight of the world on his shoulders from his mother's mess she has involved her family in and she can't get herself out of.
I also loved meeting Eva and Lovely, these two women unfortunately were involved in men that didn't really want them but didn't want anyone else to have them. Eva was a very prominent woman that thought she was married to the man of her dreams until she realized he was nothing but a trifling dog. She met Ace and he showed her what it feels like to be respected, cherished and loved even though he is half her age.
Easton, met Lovely by chance due to her having an emergency, from that meeting they became good friends, Lovely had a man that was a street king but he also was a punk azz disrespectful dog. He treated her like a piece of property instead of the woman he was supposed to love. Easton went against everything in his normal routine to show her how it is to be loved, he also loved her children. Easton didn't even realize he had more feelings for her.
The dog Blacka is gonna get his Lord how could that dog treat her like that and he knows what she been through? Oh yeah I knew Rain had some mess with her cause she wanted to carry a bone to fast. Great Job Kendra.

This part one left me speechless with all that was going on. Eva was a 40 year old profesor married to her husband Jason. She gets the shock of her life on their anniversary when she catches him in a compromising position. She goes on a trip with her best friend Morgan to Cancun and runs into her student Ace where they click more than they thought. Their chemistry is through the roof despite the age difference. Jason tries his hardest to get Eva back and she does to protect her parents, his efforts don’t go but so far. Ace and his cousin Easton are a force to be reckoned with despite being on opposite sides of things. Ace is dealing with family drama behind his mother’s gambling that trickles down to him and his family. Lovely is a Haitian beauty & mother of two who has had a rough life but is in a relationship with Blacka & he’s holding her citizenship over head to keep her in line despite having a child with her. Blacka on some hating ish to do what he did to Easton and Lovely esp telling how Elijah was conceived. Lisa needs to get her priorities in check and stop what she’s doing. I need Reba to get a grip and a life. Rain ain’t even Lovely’s friend fareal bc she outed her smh. This was a great read you did that.

Rain sold Lovely out for a man, who slid her some mediocre sex and a couple of dollars. She ain't but a nothing trick a** snitch. Lisa should have known better than talk sh** about Lovely kid. Blacka got the audacity to pillow talk with Lisa, she tried to handle Blacka .She deserved to that beat down and goofy Rain was hyping Lovely up. Ace mammy got alot nerve trying to audacity talking down on Eva. Her son is trying to pay her gambling debts otf and stop from being killed in the process. Ace and Easton got that BDE and keeps Eva and Lovely hooked. Eva mama is disrespectful like it's her fault for Jason cheating. Her questioning her like what she do? Mama had to raise up. Jason is a selfish s.o.b psychopath trying to Eva to death do up part. Ace ain't going to let that happen, you see he gave that shooter a hotshot. He said he's not a killer, he's tried of being the nice guy who finished last. Blacka was embarrassed by Lovely because she chose her self and she was helping Easton fight. The least the trifling aunt could do is take her to get her green card. Easton was handling his boys that's why he was embarrassed.

As a mother of two sons in their 20's I know I would feel some type of way if I found out either of my sons were dealing with a woman my age. I know Eva was only looking for some fun after catching her husband in an uncompromising position and getting a divorce but Ace was too damn young. Although legally he was grown. Ace mother had every reason to feel some type of way but her ass don't have room to judge because she did some unsavory thing's to hide her addiction. I just hope with Eva ex still lurking and causing trouble. Ace don't get in something he can't get out of. Easton finally met a woman who could possibly get him to settle down but Lovely was already attached to someone. She need to leave Blacka because he don't have an ounce of respect for her and he's abusive. Lovely shouldn't have told Rain a damn thing. Rain is not her friend. Lovely is in a loveless "relationship" but ultimately has no way out, without sacrificing her and her kid's livelihood. Easton is str8 hood to the core! Eva is catching it from that jerk Jason but I love how Ace has stepped in to protect his woman..I love Lovely she is fierce and protective over her kids and Easton is right there backing her up he shows no fear when dealing with anyone concerning his new bae. That ending though I was not expecting that you really can’t trust people in your circle sometimes it so sad to say but I can’t wait to see what goes down in Part 2 because I know Easton, Ace and Lovely are about to turn up!!!

I need part 2 like now this was a really good book. I hope Easton pulls through Lovely fake friend Rain was wrong telling Blacka that she’s was with another guy but won’t tell her that she’s sleeping with him though. I hope that comes out and part 2. Jason got on my nerves though I’m tired of him acting like he can’t move with his life maybe he should have thought about cheating on Eva and I’m glad that she divorced him and found Ace because he’s definitely for her.

This wasn’t bad at all! At first I couldn’t concentrate long enough to continue but after I pushed and persevere, I found myself liking this a little.
All of these characters were a trip. From Jason to Blaka to Tracie to all of the ladies from Reba, Rain, Lisa and them all, this was very entertaining.
Eva, Lovely, Ace, Easton were so cute and all….

Really enjoyed the first part of this series. I enjoyed Eva and Ace. I was hoping that she would open up to him and they begin something . Now East and Lovely I really enjoyed them too. East plays no games and he's falling for Lovely fast. Blacka is annoying and a bully and I can't wait to see him get his. I also felt deep down inside that Rain was a snake. Can't wait for part two.
