Ranger Colton Haxley is following the path of his ancestors. Tia Lopez is running from a tragedy. One storm forced the two together, can she stick to her plan and complete her job without getting attached.
Oh gosh how I cried (you will know when you get there, it is only like a chapter or two) but also the laughs as well. This book was amazing. I liked the first one the best so far, but I can’t wait to read Tommy’s story. I also loved how I was able to see Maddie and Logan some more. @daniellemarxbooks

Passionate small-town romance
Tia comes to town to complete a job that should have been done by her best friend. Her first night there she is saved from a storm by a handsome, charming Park Ranger, Colton. Colton is all about the here and now. He finds Tia attractive and isn’t shy about telling her. She is a little more reluctant, but the more time they spend together, the harder it is to resist him. They agree to a fling while she is in town. They both know she won’t be staying. The closer it gets the end of the job the more obvious it becomes how close they have really become, but Tia’s life growing up and a recent tragedy have her running for the hills and the danger of Colton’s job just makes her run more quickly. I loved the banter between them and felt the loss they both had suffered. This was a thoroughly enjoyable read with plenty of heat.
