Whether you are new to the Bible or have read it for years but still have some confusion, this book is good for you. It’s a mixture of basic questions as well as more complicated ones. I’ve been Christian for 7 years and some of these questions I didn’t even know enough about the Bible to ask.
Questions are divided into categories: Gospel/Salvation, Bible in General, Genesis, Old Testament, Jesus the Messiah, Jewish People, Seeming Contradictions and Biblical Concerns/Practices.
Sample questions:
Can Believers Lose Their Salvation? Which Version of the Bible is Best? Is the Biblical Creation Story Literal? Do We Still Need the Old Testament? Why is God Never Mentioned in the Book of Esther? At His Death, Why Did Jesus Believe God Forsook Him? Are the Jewish People Still God’s Chosen People? When Followers of Jesus Die, Do They Enter His Presence Immediately or Do They Sleep Until The Resurrection? Will We Ever See God’s Face? Should Followers of Jesus Worship on Sabbath or Sunday?
I found the answers helpful and clear. The book was easy to read.

4.7 ⭐️ I really enjoyed this book when we read this with our small group a few years ago. Dives into some more basic questions and also really tough questions about the Bible. It’s a book that’s great to read with others because you can easily drum up conversations about these topics.

It took me a little bit to get into this book, but once I did I couldn't put it down. Some might struggle to read this cover to cover all in one go, but I still recommend reading the book, even if it takes you a while and happens over a larger period of time.
This book answered lots of questions I had, and even explained things I didn't know I didn't understand! It gave me lots of new ideas and things to consider. By reading this book and taking in the information, it gives the reader the ability to refute or answer questions or arguments with intelligence and proof, which is useful for any person whose faith or beliefs are ever questioned.

I just absolutely loved this book! The author is incredibly smart and educated in the Bible. He seeks to answer 50 frequently asked questions about the Bible and does so very well!
This book stands out to me because the author fills each chapter with the different beliefs about each specific question and why someone believes that. For example, he talks about all 4 beliefs about communion and gives scripture that “supports” each belief (although it might be misinterpreted). This is incredibly helpful for me in ministry as I can seek to understand why students might have a different view than me and move forward explaining how the Bible actually supports specific topics.
Although I don’t agree with the author’s belief on EVERY question, this book was still incredibly beneficial to me and I didn’t feel like I couldn’t learn from him because of our differing beliefs on non-salvific issues.
Literally everyone has questions when they read the Bible. It's helpful when well-studied and well thought out answers are at your fingertips. In 50 Most Important Bible Questions, Moody professor and radio host, Michael Rydelnik, provides the answers to questions most listeners ask him. With Scripture verses and passages to back them up.
I find the arrangement of this book quite helpful--numbering the 50 questions and categorizing them under 8 unique sections, such as Questions about Salvation, the Old Testament, Jesus, etc. When you come across a particular question during Bible reading time, this makes it easy to find your answer.

This book answers many topics that are can be compelling to the reader to know. The book is also biblically based and has Bible verses to back up the statement that is being made. While reading the book, you can find general questions about the bible and everyday life, Jesus, the old testament, as well as other topics. I enjoy the layout of the book and how it's well categorized by 8 specific topics. In conclusion, this book is a great resource for those seeking to learn more about the bible. I received a copy of this book from the publisher for the purpose of this review.
This book is a great resource to help answer some of the most common questions people have about the Bible. There were a few things I don’t completely agree with, but overall this was a great book. It explained things in such a way anybody can understand. It answers a whole range of questions from salvation, the Bible itself, Jesus, the Jews, seeming contradictions, and many more. I would definitely recommend this resource.

This book is will written and easy to read. The chapters are short, but packed with information. Dr. Rydelnik is uniquely qualified to write it; his Jewish upbringing, conversion to Christianity, education and teaching career and much time spent in Israel give him an understanding of the culture in which the Bible was written. He brings a perspective that most of us would never think of because of our lack of understanding of that culture.
I highly recommend this book. I bought 5 extra copies to give away and plan to buy more.
If you have questions about the Bible, you definitely want to pick up a copy of this book. Among other endeavors, the author, Dr.Michael Rydelnik, is host of a radio program called Open Line. He gleaned 50 of the top questions posed by callers.
Divided into sections, the books covers (in a super easy to follow format): Questions about the Gospel and Salvation Questions about the Bible in General Questions about the Primeval World of Genesis Questions about the Old Testament Questions about Jesus The Messiah Questions about the Jewish People Questions about Seeming Contradictions and Mysteries Questions about Biblical Concerns and Practices
I breezed through the book and found the content riveting, far from dry. So many questions addressed and answered. Whether you are a long-time student of the Bible, new to the study, or simply curious about what the Bible has to say about faith and salvation, I highly recommend this work. I found it especially interesting that Dr. Rydelink, the son of Holocaust survivors, was raised in an observant Jewish home, but became a follower of Jesus when he was in high school. I read this one with high-lighter in hand, marking up passage after passage. A fantastic resource!
The questions may have seemed easy questions, but how much I learned that I did not realized about what certain things do mean in the bible. A great easy read commentary.
An absolute must read for anyone looking to increase their knowledge of scripture and deepen their walk with Christ. I will definitely be referring back to this book.
