I love this! It was very cute and funny. Good for light reading.

just finished writing a 5 page paper for school and decided to reward myself by staying up until 3:00 AM to finish this impeccable story.
this novel literally took over my life for a second because I continuously thought about it and kept procrastinating everything to read it, so I am glad it’s finally over
was it the most incredible piece of literature? no.
was the love interest manipulative and overly possessive? yes.
did I still somehow thoroughly enjoy this? absolutely and I have no REGRETS.
anyway, now I don’t know what to do with my life.

I really was vibing with this novel until the age regression arc 🫠 my interest took a nosedive and never covered so yeah I get the low rating now

The writing felt very lazy! The author just skims over a lot of important plot points! Just read svsss lol

uh.... This wasn't terribly terribly bad it was just plagued by too many tropes I don't like.
Miscommunication, dumb MC, toxic possesive ML, hiding necesary information in order to "protect" something, the straight character that "turns bent", the fear of intercourse and the dub-con that comes with it being treated as a funny thing just for laughs instead of a serious thing.
The side couples were way more interesting, I was invested in Shen Nian and Fu Chongyi as characters. Luckily for Shen Nian, Lu Qingan was a good match. In Fu Chongyi case ... chu Sheng, this brocon was so stupid and hard to tolerate that I feel very sorry for him and his arm ;o;
I read very good reviews here, not so good on NU and I was surprised because the first chapters had a lot of potential. It died there tho. And now I do understand... I wish I had believed the reviewers instead of trying this myself lol A waste of my time.
Fav Character: Lu Qingan and Shen Nian.
Least Fav: Xie Xi and Chu Sheng.
This says everything I need to remember lol

June 27, 2023DNF - at chapter 44. It’s sort of a good book, but very lacklustre when compared to other transmigration/ rebirth novels.
I felt very underwhelmed by the characters. There were points that really absorbed me, but mostly I felt myself dragging to read the next page.
I stopped at chapter 44.
I’m unsure whether I will pick this up again.
