Dangerous and Protective
This is the best way to describe Roadkill since was was the SAR for the RBMC he dealt out punishment to their enemies and was not a man to mess with. Lacey had been at the Blood Eagle MC but went to work at the RBMC club business making a lot more money. Roadkill had eyes for her right away but at that time he left her be until the unthinkable happened and he was there for the woman he was falling for. Lacey couldn’t deal with what had happened and left Roadkill a note saying that she went back home to be with her sister, Brooke, who happened to be the wife of Clubber the Prez of the Blood Eagle MC.
Roadkill was so sure of things with Lacey and wanted to be there to help her that he went after Lacey and became a patched in member with the Blood Eagle MC. The BEMC had their own enemies and things weren’t safe for anyone. Would the same thing happen all over again? Roadkill was determined to keep his woman safe.
This book was packed full of action, drama and steam. There is definitely darkness with this book but for me that’s what made it a five-star read for me. I loved every minute of it and can’t wait for the next book in this new series.

Roadkill is an outlaw biker and Stg. at Arms of the Royal Bastards MC, he is dangerous who kills without remorse, the bond and love he has for his club is without standing. When Roadkill sets his eyes on Lacey, watching her dancing he is instantly attracted to her, has this need to protect her and wants her right away. Once Lacey was taken by the Bloody Aces MC, Roadkill was the one who pulled her out of the hell hole she was in now everything is about to change for both of them . Can he heal this broken young woman who is having a hard time dealing with the events of her attack. Now Lacey only feels safe with Roadkill by her side even though Roadkill knows Lacey is thinking of another he claims her as his. Lacey is still dealing with the horror everyday but with Roadkill by her side, each day gets to be a little better, to overcome her pain she tells him she wants him to take her and erase what those men did to her. Now they begin a slow journey together leading up to a heated, passionate affair, now Roadkill wants her to be his ol'lady but Lacey tells him she wants to take things slow. Danger still surrounds the club as innocents are being killed but Lacey in order to heal tells Roadkill she wants to return to work dancing but finds when she is approached by a customer she freaks out and finds she is not ready. Now she decides she needs to go home to Myrtle Beach to be with her sister Brooke who is Clubber's ol'lady Pres. of the Blood Eagle MC . Lacey feels dirty and unworthy to be with Roadkill and feels he should find another woman to be his ol'lady, one that is not broken. Once she arrives in Myrtle Beach she will be thrown into a club war. When Roadkill reads the note she left he goes to Heavy his Pres. and gives up his patch and wants to be a nomad of the RBMC as he needs to get his woman back. With Heavy's blessing he is on is way to see Lacey, when he stops at a local bar owned by the Blood Eagle MC, three bikers come in sees his cut and start a fight, Roadkill subdues all three and then heads to the clubhouse to inform Clubber of what occurred, when Lacey sees Roadkill walk in they only have eyes for each other as she runs into his arms, Lacey sees he is now a Nomad. Roadkill tells her that no way he can live without her as she is his ol'lady and if she needs to be in SC then he will stay with her. So many twists and turns that will have you on edge, Roadkill and Lacey are attacked and taken to the Dare Devils MC clubhouse. Roadkill is now beaten and is told that they are going to end him if Clubber and the Blood Eagle MC doesn't turn in their colors and hand over the club to him as he will be taken over this town. When they learn who Lacey is they let her go with a warning to Clubber, once she leaves Roadkill is beaten and stabbed, his only regret is that he won't live long enough for the Blood Eagle brothers come to his rescue until he hears gunfire and wakes up in the hospital with Lacey by his side. Now Roadkill will have a new beginning as a member of the Blood Eagle MC to be with the woman he loves, but his brothers of the RBMC will still have his back and come to support him. Soon the enemy will be dealt with as both clubs come together to end the terror of the Dare Devils MC. Roadkill and Lacey with all of the love between them are starting to look towards the future. Now we find Roadkill and Lacey pledging themselves as husband and wife together with all of the people they love. You will melt when Roadkill ends his vows with "I promise to treat you as good as my leather and ride you as much as my Harley". This story was intense, violent with much anxiety and fear, but the overwhelming love between Roadkill and Lacey is a ride or die kind of love. Linny Lawless has done an outstanding job telling this story about 1% gritty alpha bikers who maybe dangerous but they fight hard and love hard. Looking forward for the next book in the Blood Eagle MC Series.

I enjoyed this book once I got over the audition scene. I understand this is an MC romance but it did feel coerced rather than Laney willingly partaking in the sexual act. But if we ignore that.
Lacey goes for a job at the P P Palace as a stripper, she is assessed by some of the brothers from the local MC. Roadkill is one of them. Roadkill instantly is attracted to her and wants her, but doesn't feel good enough to pursue her, in addition Lacey makes it known she is interested in Wreacker as he is high up in the MC.
There is drama straight away with Dani and Lacey being abused and kidnapped from their place of work. Roadkill steps up after this and makes Lacey feel safe, protected and whole again. But Lacey leaves to be with her sister who is married high up into the Blood Eagle MC.
Roadkill goes after her, more revenge, violence and retribution is uncovered.
Do Roadkill and Lacey find themselves back together? Do they find a new home, or is it all too much. This book is worth reading to find out.
Roadkill and Lacey are both flawed characters and thier broken pieces are seen and cherished by eachother. When they come together it is like food for their souls.

What a great start to the Blood Eagle MC series! Roadkill is a member of the Royal Bastards and has watched Lacey since she started dancing at their club. When she and her friend are kidnaped and abused by a rival gang, Roadkill and his brothers save them both. He stays by her side during her recovery and Lacey only feels safe with Roadkill by her side. She leaves him because she feels unworthy of love and heads home to Myrtle Beach and her sister and her old man, Clubber, the president of the Blood Eagle MC. Roadkill doesn't hesitate, he turns in his RBMC patch and heads after her. The book has great pace, sizzle, steam, drama, some twists and more. Great characters, well developed storyline, great read and this book can be read for free with your subscription to Kindle Unlimited.

Only 4 stars because it needed a bit of proofreading done. It was a really good story. I was a little icked out by the audition scene at the beginning since she was kind of coerced. I love the tortures and drama. Road Kill is just quietly there where Lacey needs him. He states his case, tells her what he wants, and leaves it at that. Buster is just the sweetest thing for him to do. Neither feels good enough for the other. I love how the clubs are both there for them. My heart absolutely broke at the losses. The scene at the fire—so sad. But revenge is sweet. I love the RBMC books I have read and this spin-off did not disappoint.

I loved Roadkill and how dedicated he was to Lacey from day one, nothing was going to stop him from getting his girl.
What I found confusing was the whole attack on Lacey and Dani, one chapter she was sleeping next to Roadkill, next she was being brutally attacked, and Dani was on the floor.
After the incident there really was no follow up on Dani, this just didn't make sense seeing who she was. I went back a couple of times to see if I missed a few pages.
Glad Roadkill/Travis and Lacey finally got their HEA.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This book has plenty of triggers, be sure of them before you read. Roadkill is a hard and dangerous biker. Nothing changes that until Lacey comes along. He feels a connection to her that is different. When the unthinkable happens, Roadkill is going to show just what he can and will do for her. This wasn't an easy story because the characters weren't easy. They were both complicated and shaped by their pasts. I had mixed feelings about the book. I wanted to like it more than I did. 3.5.

No wonder why I had this book on my booklist for so long, I must have figured it wouldn't be good
This book was not what I was hoping to read. This is a very choppy and meh read. For one, the h is kidnapped, ra**d and then just a few days after being rescued, she had s$x with her rescuer? Then when she goes back to her job as a stripper in the MC's strip club, she gets grabbed by a customer and then freaks out when her rescuer protects her again. Taking off to her sister's home, leaving him a note.
There is so much else going on between the MC's around. It's like the author tried her best to cram as much as she could into the pages.

Road kill was drawn to Lacey the moment he saw her dancing at the club, but she had eyes for another brother. When Lacey gets taken the club go full force to get her back and its Roadkill whose Lacey finds a safe place with, but she feels broken and unlovable and it's down to Roadkill to show she's the one for him no matter what. This book has your attention from the start! And emotional ride and steamy scenes the characters develope well through out. . Road Kill and Lacey were drawn to each other the moment he saw her. She wasn't like other women that looked at him with fear and he was able to see beyond the woman that danced. Their relationship changed when she was abducted, and he and the MC went to get her. Road Kill carries her out of the place she was in, and it is Road Kill that makes her feel safe. They both have traumatic past, but can they come together for a better future? This action-packed story kept me glued to the pages!

Dark and gritty... Violent and intense... An unlikely romance between two flawed and imperfect people who aren't sure they deserve love... The attack against Lacey is heartbreaking. RoadKill/Travis is drawn to her when they meet. He's determined to keep her safe, and willing to give up everything for her. First read from this author, and it's a great introduction. When Roadkill goes nomad and ends up with the Blood Eagle MC, he kind of finds his home. One thing he vows to do is protect Lacey and get revenger for her. Will he also win her heart?

If you like your dark romance with a lot of graphic violence and flawed characters, this is the book for you. Lacey is a club dancer, been with a lot of Roadkill's brothers and violently violated by a rival club. Roadkill will do anything for Lacey and has a bloodlust for killing. This book is not for the faint of heart and has two characters perfect for each other.

This book is action packed and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I didn't want Lacey and RoadKill's story to end. He thought no one could ever love him and she thought she was to damaged to be loved. These two are perfect for one another and I couldn't be happier for them.

Linny alway gives us the best MC stories, Roadkill and Lacey have seen so much attrocity and somehow both heal each other. I love how he will do anything to keep her safe and how he avenged her assaulters. This is one of my favorite series and I love all the chapters.

Roadkill is a great spin off start for the Blood Eagle MC. Roadkill and Lacey's story is full of excitement, heartache, anguish and ultimately lots of happiness. Roadkill is true to his name and stops at nothing to protect hus woman. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

I was very impressed with this spin off. Lacey & Roadkill do not have your typical relationship. There’s plenty of action to keep you well entertained. When something bad happens to Lacey, will Roadkill be there to help her? Great book.

This was a great read. It had lots of adventure and an engaging plot. Lacey has been through hell and Roadkill is determined to get her back and make her whole again. This book was gritty, angry and hot!! I loved everything about it!

Too rushed
I felt lime this boom was rushed. It had all the ingredients for an MC story but it felt rushed. The characters were okay. I just wished Roadkill's backstory was explored more.

A nonstop action packed roller coaster ride to go on with Roadkill and Lacey. This may have been a fast paced story but it packed a huge punch. I enjoyed this book.

RoadKill is smitten by Lacy the day she came to audition to dance at Pink Pussy Dollhouse. Lacy has gone back to family surrounded with more danger for them all. Linny Lawless has crafted another story that keeps you on the edge of your seat that you can’t put down.
