This was SLOPPY. In both proofreading and the story. So disappointing.
Story of Wes and Rachelle. They meet when Mrs Ross ropes him into a charity auction. I find these distasteful, but especially so when there's also a human trafficking case to solve.
Too much human trafficking that these hackers/security people need to handle.

Wes and Rachelle
Wes was in Florida at the request of his sister, who is the Queen of Shialia. He is trying to find the mother of a little girl she rescued from a street market. The woman was kidnapped off the streets of Shialia, as were several other women. While working for Blackhawk Security, he gets roped into a charity auction. The prize? One date. He is not happy about it until he hears an angelic voice call out a hefty sum for a date with him. Rachelle Carlson has been having a really bad few months. She lost a job she loves and worked hard for. She also has to contend with rumors that have no basis in fact. She has no idea why she bid on the handsome man on stage. The auction is for a charity her family runs but, she has no intention of keeping the date. She is convinced that he wouldn't want to be seen with her because she has curves and is not model thin. Wes was captivated by her beauty as he watched her from backstage. What ensues is a whirlwind of circumstances that throw Wes and Rachelle together. not sure what happened
I’m not entirely sure what happened in this story but I haven’t read the previous books and the characters are so interconnected and they all keep popping up and it’s hard to follow. I don’t fully get some of the interventions and reference like Patty and Sam, unnecessarily added in. They had no contribution to furthering the plot. Brock and Jess, again very little contribution. The three doctors … I don’t know it felt like the story was trying to convince you that loads of people, all the people are into BDSM and that’s ok. It absolutely is great but it felt like it tried too hard. She was an absolute wet fish. He was a man child whose switch just flipped at some point and he decided he was in-love and that’s that. So weird… all of it…
It would be great to have an additional spell check it was cringy in some parts including the use of woman and women … but a few others as well including a name check I’m pretty sure the voice changed half way through a sentence and then suddenly the names were different too.
Will not come back to this series but hope someone else will love it! Cheers

I love the White Hacker series and this time we also get Wes from Blackhawk Security after he is roped into looking for a missing woman but his sister Part of the job means he is put up for auction at a charity event which should be perfect for one and done Wes The only problem is that the woman who won him doesn't actually want the date . Rochelle doesn't know what caused her to bid two million dollars for a date with the stud on the stage but she soon has second thoughts after all this single mother is till trying to get over the mess her last boyfriend caused so she soon backs out of the date but at least the money has gone to a good cause her families charities. So why does Wes want to know more about the woman that has attracted his attention and what happens when danger stalks her Can he keep her safe You will have to read to see

The more stubborn they are, the harder they fall 😉
I truly ADORE this series! Each and every book brings such adventure, humor, sexy time, family, friendship and suspense that leaves the reader excited for what's next. Each journey is an absolute joy filled with twists and turns, an alligator reference or two 😉, and plenty of alpha awesomeness to take down the bad guys....not to mention some pretty kick butt females! I highly recommend reading this. You probably *could* read this without having read any of the others in the series, however *all* the books are brilliant. Plus it'll give you a far better understanding of the world building and all of the characters relationships and backstories. Plus it's just fun to read them all 😉💖.

This is a wonderful story about Rachelle and the tough patch she is experiencing. She bids on a gentleman at one of the charities that her family owns. Wes is the bachelor that she bids on and wins but cancels the date. From there this book picks up and why she did not want to go on the date the pursuit of Wes. The case he is helping on. So much going on and it flows so well and the characters are strong and independent. I loved how Rachelle and Wes interacted and how their relationship progressed. This is just a wonderful book with a great story. This hits all my buttons and it is just fabulous.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Rachelle bids on Wes to save him from the other bidders but doesn't intend to go on the date. She is persuaded to do it and Wes learns that his one date rule doesn't apply to Rachelle as he falls for her. Rachelle has a nasty ex to deal with which Wes and the others help with. Wes' case brings danger to her doorstep but it wasn't only him as her history has factors which would have been brought in the danger as well. The case is resolved and Wes and Rachelle are in love. I look forward to more in this series as each book draws you in until you finish it.

Rachelle’s life is practically destroyed by a vengeful ex and she has hit a low. Wes is “encouraged “ to participate in a charity to be auctioned off. She bids on him to keep another bidder from winning him, then reneges on the date. He needs to find out why she changed her mind. They have an uphill battle to further their relationship. Nicely written and can stand on its own without having to have read previous books to understand. Gotta love those gators!

This is a great read. It has suspense, action, the Blackwood Security Team, it’s emotional and super steamy. Mr One Date Only Rule Wes meets beautiful insecure singe mother COO of a hospital Rachelle and has serious doubts about his rule. The conflict is fun and emotional to watch. The two have other problems to deal with to like a sex trafficking ring and a horrible baby daddy. This is a great addition to this series.

Always good to revisit familiar people with new issues and problems added. This story finds Was placed in charge of security for Rachelle, a woman who won a date with him at a charity auction. Mixed messages and interference from family and friends finds them at odds. A book filled with action, drama, humour and some BDSM elements as well as an intriguing story makes this a great addition to the Hacker Series

Ehhh
The blurb sounded so good so I took a chance on this new author for me. First couple chapters were good but kinda went downhill after that. It was a lil all over the place. Had to skim thru the book to see if it would get any better..sadly it did not. Maybe it was just not my cup of tea..maybe this author has other genres that would be more appealing to me. Just my two cents 🤷♀️

loved it !!! love this series !!! love Wes and Rachelle... this is their story... a fast paced action packed drama... the auction... Wes is on stage... Rachelle is bidding high... then, freaks out... wants to back out... Wes is intrigued... and it takes off from there... twists and twists... trafficking and more...

I love this series and this book was no exception. There's plenty of action, heat and a lot of funny sides to the story, especially the BDSM side. Wes is a one time only kind of guy since he got burned, but after a while he's ready to make and exception with Rachelle and her son Sage. But things took a turn non of them expected. Excellent read with a HEA.

What a book that was with Wes and Rachelle. Both are certainly stubborn. I just love Kat with her gators, I certainly laugh at that. Rachelle’s parents made me giggle too.
I didn’t trust Milton and Elise but was not expecting that twist. Did not like Clayton either. I wished the Gators got him. Loved that epilogue and can’t wait for Mia’s story.

I enjoyed the story. Rachelle buys Wes at a charity ball and then sends a note stating she will not complete the date. Wes is intrqued by Rachelle and tries to find a way to ensure the date happens. Sparks fly as they get to know to each other.

just okay for me
This book is the first book of the series I read. The book was okay, it seemed to drag for me in places. I had thought of quitting the book but about the time I decided to it would pick up and pull me back in. I am going to try the first book in the series to see if that draws me in to the series.

i received an arc of this book via booksprout i enjoyed wes and rachelles steamy story and its always nice to have previous characters in the story there was some resolution to the main over arcing theme of the series so i look forward to seeing which direction the series will be going

I found myself hooked from the beginning to the end with the well developed storyline. The characters are engaging and well developed with plenty of chemistry throughout the pages.
