What would you give up to save the world?

Megan had never been “normal”. Sure, on the outside she looked and acted just like any other woman in her mid-20’s. Only Megan has a secret, okay two secrets. She’s totally in love with her best friend, CJ and she has the ability to see the future which includes the good, the bad, and the ugly. Little does she know those were going to be the least of her problems.

When CJ asks her out on a date, she can’t believe that she is finally getting a silver lining in life. Only just when things couldn’t be going better for them, Megan and CJ disappear in a swirl of blue smoke and land in Nalrin. After suddenly finding herself standing before a woman claiming to be her mother’s sister, Megan finds out she isn’t human at all and that her parents fled Nalrin to save themselves. If that isn’t enough to make her head spin, now Megan must try to stop them from destroying Nalrin, and taking the one thing she isn’t willing to lose.

Kimberly M. Ringer lives in Santa Cruz, California with her husband, little human, and two furballs, Wall-E (a Jack Russell mix) and Pippin (a Pomeranian terrier mix). When she isn’t writing she is reading, playing with the dogs, playing video games or down at the beach. She’s a bit geeky and nerdy, so sci-fi references and other things going on in the science world will often end up in her stories.

Jumping into others' lives via books is the best kind of escapism. Fall into your favorite genre and block out reality.

Kimberly M. Ringer also writes under the pen name K.M. Ringer

All the things I love about this book would take a year to list. So, I'll say this- The Five Angels is unique in every way a fantasy book should be. It isn't a story you've heard before or a quickly thrown together idea. It's a well built world, with developed history and defined rules. There are reasons for the events happening. There are boundaries the hero-family must work within. The characters are well-defined and fleshed out, as well. I can't wait to read book 2 (and I probably won't wait). Great book!

Megan & CJ are quite literally thrown into a brand new world and have to learn some very hard truths. Through it all though their love holds them strong and keeps them pushing forward not only to save a world they didn't know existed just months ago but each other as well.
The world of Nalrin is built and described so well that you feel like your standing there with the characters. Each character has an amazing backnstory that makes you love them or love to hate them. This book holds it all love, spice, adventure, action, and personal growth.

Wow!

I am in love with this story.

I am in love with the high detail of the world building.

I am in love with the banter and relationships between the characters.

I love Megan and CJ and their chosen family.

The wild ride of emotions I just went on was everything a book should be.

I cannot wait to dive into the next book. 💛

Meg's and CJs story was much like a rollercoaster. They had their ups and downs an curves and loop da loops. I wasn't expecting it to end like it did. I'm curious to see what happens in the next book....

I really don’t know what kept me reading but for some reason I kept going till the end. It wasn’t all bad I just got a little bored halfway through and as I’d already come so far I pushed through. It was the kind of book where it’s magic so we will throw everything in including the kitchen sink.

Such an amazing story of a young woman being thrust into a world she didn't know existed but hovered on the edge of her whole life. I can't wait to dive into the next installment.

Wow

This story drew me in and kept me there until I was finished. A few surprises await as you move through Megan and CJs story, but they are so worth the angst.
