This was a great book I wish it was longer one Goid brother and one evil brother. I can’t wait for the next book. Don’t skip this book you will miss out on a great story

Nothing is worst than having a snake eating, drinking with you and you call “it” family… rather have a real enemy , at least you will watch your back 24/7
Dimitri should never let Nicholai lived after what happened to his parents… his day of reckoning is near I hope!

Excellent start to the series
OMG! What a excellent start to the series. The book was spell binding, attention getting and very interesting from start to finish. All the characters were well developed, the plot intriguing and the dialogues were great. The author did an awesome job introducing the series. I cannot wait for the next part.

I don't know what I was expecting from this read, but you blew me away Miss Sage! That Nicolas is just evil for no damn reason at all! 😈 I had a feeling right from the beginning that there was something off with him, but did not expect him to just turn into Mr. Lucifer himself! Whew! Where did all that come from, and all that hatred toward your brother, for what man???? I loved Dimitri! He did what he had to, to survive and then got right on the straight and narrow. I felt for him as life handed him and Galena a bad hand. Then happy when he found his ray of light again, just to have the light snuffed out prematurely! Those boys have lived 10 lifetimes in their short years, and Lord knows what is still to come. But, I put my money on Konstantin, that he will square up with his dear Uncle Nicolas, and come out victorious! Cannot wait to dive right into Konstantin's Revenge, to see what happens next! Great read! 👍👍👍

Sage Young did a thing! She changed the way she writes books and it was unexpected but oh so rewarding. There was still some feel good moments but there were plenty of dark moments. It’s not her normal feel good story with a touch of angst. This is a full turn left and then run off the whole dangblasted course!! But maaaaan what a ride!!
The introduction to the Icarus family was explosive. I mean Dimitri and Nicholas couldn’t have been more different than if they had been born to different parents!! Nicholas was a lost soul and he was jealousy and treachery made him ugly. Dimitri was determined to change his life’s course. Loving the right woman helped him stay on course.
I thoroughly enjoyed the introduction to the Icarus Family and can’t wait to read more. Job well done Ms. Young! Job well done indeed!!

I love reading about mafia/mob romances and families. Sage Young wrote a good one! That Nicholas is as "evil" as "evil" can be! For what he has done from the beginning of the story, leaves no doubt about what he will do in the next book (if he makes that far)! I was surprised (not to reveal too many spoilers) with what happened to the "good" brother Dimitri and I hope that Dimitri's sons take over the family businesses and take care of "Uncle Nicholas"! This was a very good read and Sage Young gave a great background to the upcoming books on this family. It is a BWWM romance even though it initially does not start out that way. I recommend.

Introducing The Icaruss family
I am getting prepared for this great family saga! The first book caught my attention even though it was not the ending that I wanted but I do not think I will be disappointed! It was hard to put down but I do wished it in a days time and had time to start the second book in the series! The first book I read from this author a few years go prepared me for more great reading from her! The young bogs left from their mother and father are going to be hard to control because of their father teaching! Their Uncle was an evil killer but I believe the children will be stronger and wiser! The first book I will give a 5+!

Off the chain
Oh my goodness I couldn’t put this book down. This is my first book by Sage Young and I can’t wait to read the entire series as they are released. The story starts off introducing us to 2 brothers Demetrius and Nicholai and how they fled Russia and went to America. Nicholai definitely the bad seed and Demetrius the good brother. Demetrius marries and starts a family but he doesn’t have a happily ever after. There are definitely surprises that you won’t see coming in this book. So looking forward to the next book.

A modern day God father!
A riveting story. Nicholas was evil on two legs, totally devoid of conscience. He was unbelievable. I wanted to plot his demise. I am looking forward to reading Constantin's Revenge. If it has as much action as this book, it will be an exciting ride.

Fast paced
The story was a quick, easy pace. Very compact. Liked the twist and that made me give it 4 stars but I can never understand grown, educated women who you act clueless when it comes to a pregnancy. It’s simple unprotected sex can cause a pregnancy. A 12 year old knows this. That ruined an otherwise good story. Also, Russian currency is Ruble or Rouble, not rubies.

Great introduction!
I really enjoyed reading about Nicholas and Dimitri! The brothers overcame so much. But, Nicholas was seduced by evil and power; while Dimitri walked away from the corruption. The story is a great setup for Konstantine's story. I hope Nicholas finally gets what he deserves.

Now that’s what I’m talking about!
Sage put together a series starter that made you jump out of your seat. It had love, erotica, suspense and straight up gangster tales. A wicked combination if I ever seen one for sure. My fingers are itching to get started on the next book. Kudos Sage Young!

meh
This 100+ pages took me longer to read than I would like to admit. The story was all over place. Jumping multiple times in each chapter. It didn’t get real interesting until the last quarter. If this was any indication of the writing and editing (or lack there of) I don’t think I can read this series. Hope someone proof read the other books.

Cannot wait
I need this series today. I hate Nicholas!!! I was saddened by the tragic endings but that just sets the story for the future books. Konstantin will no doubt get his revenge.

Surprisingly good read
The ruthlessness of Nicolas and the fairness and righteousness of Demitri balance out each other, except Nick is evil.
A very good read, with unexpected events keeps me intrigued to read the rest of this Russia Mafia story.

WOW!
Barring all the killing, this is a good book. Nicholas needs to go. He is bad to the core. I am so sorry he thought the way he did about Angela. Dimitri found two good women. I won't give away the plot, but its worth the read.

This had potential.but this was a.constant telling with zero.show. You have to get past the multiple POV (jumping without notice) but nothing was written to put you in the scene. Sadly I won't finish the series.
