I first came across The Omnipotent Sorcerer through Maestro Laycon, and I am glad I followed the recommendation. Roger Aplon’s poetry is bold, raw, and striking in how it captures the turbulence of human emotions. The way he confronts politics and society with unflinching honesty makes this collection stand out. It’s not an easy read, but it’s powerful and thought-provoking exactly the kind of poetry that lingers long after you finish.
