The first 75% per cent of the story is very well done...the pacing is on point as is the characterization. Having Hermione surrender her virginity to her nemesis is unique and having Draco become the obsessive, possessive, protective dragon was also good. I enjoyed the way both Hermione and High Reeve Draco are portrayed. The later quarter of the book was disappointing. Having Draco allow Blaise to sexually be with Hermione was antithetical his 'dragon-esque' qualities. The ending was rushed. The story starts with the Death Eaters seemingly winning. Once Draco meets and becomes enamored by the innocent virgin mistaken as a prostitute who unbeknownst to Draco is Hermione, they soon become a couple and fall in love. Draco lavishes Hermione with expensive gifts that she gives to the rebellion. Added by the influx of money from Hermione, the Order wins the war, Draco is jailed for two years, meets his and Hermione's son, Julius. Draco and her work on rekindling their relationship.
