He was her first love.

She was his first heartbreak.

No matter how hard they tried, Nevaeh Mullaney nor Andrew Jones could shake the all-consuming thoughts of what could have been. In turn, being separated for the better part of ten years did nothing to prepare them for the moment they’d be reunited.

Their past is deeply rooted in hurt, and their future depends on what they do in the present.

*Please note, this is a standalone novella drenched in pure unadulterated black love.

2.5 ⭐️ I gave it a 3 stars to be generous.! I feel like the relationship was blah, didn’t capture and hold my attention at all. Maybe if it would have started off with the way they met and got into all of the other things concerning their relationship, it would have been better. What happened with the baby was sad, but I felt that they only focused on Nevaeh’s emotions and going through it alone and completely skipped over and disregarded Andrew’s feelings and emotions. If Andrew was as in love with her as it was written in the book, I feel that he indeed felt way more deeply about the issue then expressed in the text. I don’t know the whole thing just completely missed me. I’ve never really said that about any romance novel I’ve chosen, but especially one written by an author of this caliber!..

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beautiful! Seeing women grieve after losing a baby will always ache. Since I am I nursing student with plans on becoming a mother and baby nurse this subject will heart the most. I’m glad that Asia Monique books recognizes all problems that both men and women struggle with. As for Veah and Drew there story was pretty short and I can say that this has to be my least favorite couple out of all the books I’ve read by Asia so far. I didn’t really feel a connection between the two like I have in the other books. Nonetheless the book was still good and nicely paced.

I needed a little more depth from Drew and Neveah’s relationship. This was more of a novella. Maybe it was rushed. But true love won in the end!

Each other's earliest loves were Nevaeh and Andrew. These two are driven apart 10 years by misunderstanding and a sad secret. It was truly a short novella that got right to the point. I thought it might have been a little bit longer, which is probably why I didn't feel connected to this pair, but it was still an enjoyable read.

Asia! You have a gift of creating these amazing heartfelt stories, with minimal drama and lots of love and family! I have been anticipating Neveah and Drew's story, and you did not disappoint. Their love was easy, and they were great together; until they weren't. I couldn't understand why Neveah walked away from her love, when anyone could see that she was crazy about him. Her fears and insecurities took over her mind, making her think that he would be better off without her. Drew was absolutely sick without Neveah, and he never really understood the root cause of her leaving. But, he was going to get down to the bottom of all of it! When she finally revealed her truth, it tore Drew apart! Finding out the love of his life had endured so much alone, broke his heart! Do over! The love that they began years ago, was still just as strong; and it was time to reset. Such a beautiful second chance love story! 👍👍👍

Nevaeh & Andrew

This was super cute. A second chance love. I loved the healing and the real conversation they had to have. I loved how they had to face the issues of the past that hurt them both. I love reading Asia's characters. They're smart, educated, and so beautifully wealthy.

Mad

I'm so mad. How could part one be so good and this book last 5 minutes. Goodness, this was the quickest book ever. I don't like that. I mean no depth at all. I did think Neveah would have ended up with Axel, but oh well.

“Forevermore” by Asia Monique is a captivating second chance novella that artfully explores the complex themes of love, loss, and reconciliation. The story centers around Nevaeh Mullaney, a successful PR business owner and middle child of the Mullaney sisters, and Drew, a seasoned and beloved NBA player. Their past relationship was intense and filled with passion and explosive moments that ultimately ended in separation. A decade later, circumstances surrounding Nevaeh’s sister Nyla’s marriage to Drew’s friend Asan force Nevaeh and Drew into each other’s orbits once again, reigniting old feelings and unresolved tensions.

Monique skillfully navigates the delicate process of rebuilding a relationship that has been marred by secrets and misunderstandings. The forced proximity of Nevaeh and Drew allows them to confront their past, uncovering the reasons behind their failed relationship. This journey of discovery and honesty is rich with emotional depth, highlighting Monique’s adeptness at exploring the nuances of grief, loss, and the possibility of finding love after trauma.

What sets “Forevermore” apart is Monique’s ability to capture a wide range of emotions in a concise novella format. Her writing draws readers into the hearts and minds of Nevaeh and Drew as they navigate their complicated feelings for each other. The character development is remarkable, with each protagonist displaying growth and a willingness to face their past mistakes and vulnerabilities.

Monique’s treatment of sensitive topics such as grief and trauma is both respectful and insightful, offering a hopeful perspective on healing and second chances. Her narrative not only entertains but also resonates on a deeper level, encouraging readers to reflect on their own experiences of love and loss.

Cute

This was cute. I thought the characters had good chemistry. This is a re-read for me. It's been a while so I was it was almost like reading it for the first time.

3 stars becauseI noticed that the author is charging for the books instead of letting an entire series remain on KU. It's disheartening because I already pay for KU so I'm not going to pay for something twice. I also don't like paying for digital books because you don't actually "own" them if Amazon ever decides to get rid of Kindle. The joy of KU is you don't have to buy a book you've never read and risk not liking it and then you're out of money; especially in today's climate. It's like taking a book out from a library. Also, if I really like a book, I buy a hard copy, like I did with Forbidden. I just won't read the books she's charging for. A lot of author's are doing this now and it's unfair to the readers. I just don't understand the reasoning behind it.

"The heart wants what the heart wants," that quote describes Neveah and Drew to a tee. They both knew it was no other person that could complete them. They really did need each other as well as Anastasia. Anastasia looked up to Neveah as a big sister or somewhat parental figure. I can tell that she did with Drew too. Drew and Anastasia's mother must have been a real piece of work since she didn't have a scene in the book.

I know this was a novella, but a well informed one. It was a lot in this read and I have few questions. I am most definitely looking forward to the next installment in this series. I am wondering who Axel is going to end up with and feels like it's much more to Naija. Peyton is a special little girl and I just adore her personality. If you have not indulged in this series, I recommend you do. It will pull you in and hold onto you.

Nevaeh and Andrew were each other's first love. Miscommunication and a deep secret push these two a part - Nevaeh with a lot of pain and a secret and Andrew with no real closure.
Fate brings these two back to each other, and the past has to be settled. True love never dies and their feelings are just as present as ever.

There was a lot for these two to work together, and the major bombshell in this book was told very near the end of the book and lacking a bit of closure, in my opinion. For over 10 years of separations and feelings of resentment and hurt still to the surface, though I know this was a novella, it seemed to come together so quickly.

There are some updates for other members of the Mullaney Chamberlain family that makes me interested as to who the next book will be about.

really 3.5

I enjoyed this book - not gonna lie, it was annoying at first not knowing what this big act of betrayal was at the beginning since it affected the story (felt as though I was just thrust in a book & was trying to jump through some hoops to keep up/understand - but thankfully the explanation came sooner than later & once that did I felt like the story kinda went into overdrive and felt a bit rushed. I wish we got like 50 more pages or so to really be able to flesh some things out. But it was sweet & emotional - my eyes got misty lol. But all in all, I enjoyed their story

The heart wants what the heart wants...

Naveah is the PR guru and the middle daughter of the Mullaneys. Drew is an NBA star. Now, Vaeh and Drew had a steamy fling when they were younger, but Vaeh ended it with no reason why. Years later, they still hold a torch for each other, so when they see each other on a call, their hearts still beat for one another. Going out on a date made them realize that they still had feelings. Vaeh had a secret that she kept from everyone, and Drew just wanted to know why she left. When all is answered, they survived, and a beautiful relationship was back. I couldn't get enough of this story and really wanted more. The ending was perfect!!

This series is fire

This Mullaney-Chamberlin crew is taking all of my emotions and feeding them to a tree chopper, expelling them back to the earth and growing a loving tree. I am having so much fun reading up on these two families. They are really embodying the true meaning of family and love. Drew with his ‘I’m that man’ mannerism didn’t let his past impede him from being open and honest with his love and going back for her. I’m a little sad that Veah had to go through that pain by herself but glad that he was willing to go through the storm with her if it should come again

This is book 2 in the Mullaney-Chamberlain series and a second chance romance that’s heart wrenching. CONTENT WARNING: miscarriage/stillborn

Navaeh and Drew reconnect because her sister and his best friend are married and they share a god baby. From the start you feel that they have something big that happened in their past and you feel every bit of the tension between these to characters.

Once you find out what happened between the two of them and how they moved forward once everything was out on the table, the story was really just a step by step to their happy ending. No games played, no drama.

True love never dies !

We all do crazy and indecisive things when we're young. Tomorrow often looks scary. Sometimes we're afraid of disappointing love one's because of their expectations of us to the detriment of our own happiness . So we run ! Try to escape all the pressures that surround us until we get older and a little wiser. That's what the heroine in this story does. Her true love didn't understand at the time but he never have up hope that love would bring them back together.

Too Short!

My only complaint is that it was too short. There a few minor editing mistakes but that did nothing to take away from the story. I enjoyed it. I was very emotionally attached to the characters. I wish I knew the back story about the family feud and I wish I could have seen Drew and his sister interact with their mom. It left me feeling like this book is a part of a series. Nevertheless it was a great read.

This second chance at love story was fantastic
It showed how if you are true soulmates, destined to be together you will find your way back to each other no matter how many years you are apart
Even though this was a novella it read like a full length novel
It was enjoyable and definitely a great
2nd story

Long Lost Love ❤️❤️❤️

Drewski is baeeeeee and I love love Navaeh. This author understands the assignment when it comes to love and understanding!

I kind of knew where the storyline was going once we found out the real reason for wanting to leave Drew once they really got serious.

I’m glad they were able to find forgiveness towards each other and move forward with their forever love!

I highly recommend this book!

Second chance love are the best💕

Queen Asia Monique gave us a tear jerking second chance at love story.
Ten years is a long time to bye away from the one you love. For Drew & Vaeh time seemed to intensify the love they shared. I'm glad they were finally able to talk about the breakup and their loss and heal from it. Although it was a novella we for their full back story and the ending was perfect💕
DEFINITELY A MUST READ🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Breathtaking…

This story was breathtaking…Nevaeh and Drew were so sweet together, and I am glad that they were able to reconnect. I liked that there was no drama in the story, but rather two grown and sexy people realizing their mistakes and moving forward. As always, Ms. Asia Monique writes amazing stories, and I can’t wait to read the next one!

Love the second time around is always the sweetest!

Love this life story, it was way to fall in love with the time two young people we in love and immature and inexperienced. Loved how their tragedy and miscommunication was unpacked and they were still in life then years later. The ending was sweet. Hopefully we will hear more about them in the hear future.

Finding Their Way Back

This is a beautiful love story of two people who were meant to be finding their way back to each other. Communication in any relationship is key. Lack of communication can often lead to loneliness, regret, and unnecessary heartbreak as Neveah realized. The love and the passion these two shared was evident and very palpable. Great read!

Simply beautiful

When two young people share a love that is undeniable, what is next? Drew and Veah share a beautiful past that does not end in a good note. Can her present reunite them? Pay attention to P, she is the glue to this family.
