A brilliant new comic novel about love, marriage, parenthood and the million tiny little things that conspire to trip you up on the rocky road to all three.
This was a fun romp through the William Walker increasingly disaster created first year of father hood starting with the horror of a birth that didn't go according to plan through the shock of new babyhood and finally to a happy ending. Upbeat and fun and good bed time reading.
Quite a sweet book.. written in diary form, telling the story of William Walker, and the first year of his sons life... William ends up in a variety of mishaps....
💚 I loved William's escapades as a new dad. The observations on mum controversies and the antenatal class were accurate to the point of inducing flashbacks. The humour is just as dry and just as prevalent as in the original. The speeding incident was one of my favourite moments.
