‘Fun, flirty and filled with ex-appeal! I was on tenterhooks throughout this gorgeous book and LOVED Zoe’s strength of character.’
Hannah Doyle, author of The A to Z of Us

Where there’s always a second chance at first love…

Zoe has spent her life facing battles: fighting her parents for independence, struggling with her feelings for local bad boy Finn and, after a car accident at eighteen, adjusting to the fact she would not walk again. This was one of the best intentioned and worst executed romance books I've ever read. Tahiti, heroine in a wheelchair, second chance at love. But...

The characters were in their late twenties, likely to justify the hero's professional success, but emotionally they seemed like they couldn't have been older than 22 and more like stuck at age 18.

The fact that the hero found the heroine's inability to speak clearly under most circumstances charming makes him a better person than me.

And the heroine's nipples were like a third character. What woman doesn't own at least one lightly padded bra?! Not my preferred way of signalling arousal on a regular basis.

If you love a good second chance romance then this is the book to pick up, if you love a fabulous setting then this is the book to pick up also, this is a beautiful romance with fabulous characters that finally get their chance at the love that should have been years before, but of course their journey is little up and down but worth it.

Zoe Taylor comes from a small seaside village, Hawkes Cove, England and has been fighting for her independence practically from birth from her parents and everyone in the village, during her teenage years she has the biggest crush on the local bad boy Finn which again everyone jumps in to protect her, when at eighteen she is in a car accident that leaves her in a wheelchair Zoe becomes even more determined to live her life the way she wants and moves to Australia and becomes a travel writer. Life as she knows it is going to change again when she meets up with bad boy Finn at one of his resorts in Tahiti, and that crush is still there.

Finn had a tough life growing up doing what he could for his mother, but always knew he was never good enough for Zoe even if she had his heart, tragedy to Zoe made him feel it even more but he got on with his life and eventually moved away and made something of his life now a businessman running a chain of holiday resorts, putting Zoe out of his mind, he had to it was the only way to move one but now she is on his resort and all those feelings and memories are pouring back, this time he will not let her down.

A beautifully written story filled with love and romance as two people finally open up their hearts and souls and find that the love that had always been there. Zoe is a strong and beautiful heroine who deserved such happiness and Finn is a wonderful hero who shows so much love and caring, this is part of a series but can be read as a stand- alone and is one that I would highly recommend.

I am completely hooked on this series of books and couldn't wait to get my eyes stuck into Meet Me In Tahiti.

For a start can you think of a more picture perfect setting for a romance, its got stunning backdrops and all the little local bits of knowledge sounded rather authentic, so definitely well researched.

And Zoe is just a fabulous protagonist, she is gutsy and tries her hardest to be independent, and not rely on too many people despite one rather obvious part of her that many people just don't know how to react to.

So in some ways I feel it was fitting that I was reading this during the Paralympics, and just love Zoe's attitude to life.

She's a travel writer, rarely does the basic press junkets but was on this one as a last min replacement and thus had no idea that the owner of this luxury resort is Finn, the one who got away so many years before.

In fact Finn is equally shocked to see Zoe and seeing how they interact over the course of the book gave so many useful insights into both of their characters.

And of course the rest of the lost hours girls are present over the phone for Zoe too, so great to catch up with Malie and Victoria from the previous books and I am already looking forward to Lily's story next!

Its an all around joyful piece of escapist writing that I loved every single word of. Would love some more books set in places like Tahiti and Hawaii as I'd be first in line to read them!

Thank you to Mills & Boon and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily,

thank you to the publisher and netgalley for providing me with an arc of this!

this was a super light hearted, easy read and definitely one for the travel lovers. the tropical descriptions weaved throughout the chapters made me wish i was there with the characters.

first and foremost, i love the fact that Toff didn’t shy away from disability in this book; Zoe is left in a wheelchair after an accident in her teens. her character is independent, strong and confident, ensuring others look and treat her no different. i thought this aspect was written extremely well and a lot of thought went into the sensitivity of the topic.

the dual POV served to allow us an insight into both Zoe and Finn’s minds, and how they were both unsure of the others feelings. it was refreshing seeing Finn step back whenever he wanted to help Zoe with her wheelchair - he respects her and realises that she doesn’t need looking after.

despite all of this, the writing just didn’t work for me and i found it quite difficult in the beginning to get into. after the 45% mark, i started enjoying it a lot more and was really rooting for the pair of them - their tropical bubble was utterly perfect, and i better have a travel summer romance this magical one day!

Not my favorite of the Meet me books if I'm honest. I did like Giana's journey though. The disability rep (paraplegic wheelchair user) and trauma from a car crash were great but I just didn't feel the chemistry between the two main characters like I wanted to (only the very end did things get super emotional and heartfelt). I also wasn't a huge fan of the audiobook narrator either. Just an okay read for me. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early digital copy of this re-release.

I love this series and this book even more . It’s my favourite from all of them and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a heartwarming story with so much heart and soul in it. Some of the topics in here are very well discussed and I loved how everything comes together in the end.
Everyone need a happily ever after in their lives.

Very grateful to the publisher for my review copy.

This was the most addictive of the meet Me series so far. The relationship of Zoe and Finn (or Finlay). Zoe proves she is more than her wheelchair. The strongest most determined of the women so far in the series. There is nothing not to like about Zoe. As for Finn he is so unpredictable to guess, I loved everything about him too. Easily 5 stars

This series is definitely what I’d class as my comfort reads. You know exactly what you’re going to get but it doesn’t matter because they just make you smile and feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Meet Me In Tahiti delivers just that as we continue our journey learning about the lives of this group of friends and this time it’s Zoe who definitely had the worst outcome from the accident as she is now in a wheelchair.

The story doesn’t wait around and we are immediately introduced to Zoe and Finn, eyes lock across a crowded room and the love story begins. Yes it’s a little over the top in places with the romance but I wouldn’t want it any other way with this series – I want to be swept away in this whirlwind romance! I especially loved the fairy tales about mermaids that both Finn and Zoe told – it felt magical at times.

Whilst it is your standard love story, I think it’s the first I’ve read where the main character is disabled and I think it was handled really well throughout. It was mentioned, along with the difficulties she faced but I also loved how it really captured how she felt when people did things for her assuming she wasn’t capable of anything.

Overall this was another brilliant installment in the series which was once again full of dreamy romance and loveable characters!

Sorry Toff but I didn’t enjoy this one, the previous 2 books I loved.

This one I just found a bit boring, I couldn’t feel any chemistry between Zoe and Finn, not like the two last books they had lots of sizzling chemistry between the two main characters.

The book is written in a way that it gives the reader some insight into the difficulties for a person in a wheel chair.

Thank you to @netgalley @millsandboonuk and @georgiatoffolo for this #gifted ARC copy.

Having just finished the second in the series I was keen to dive straight in to this one! If you haven’t seen my review of Meet me in Hawaii, this series focuses on a group of four women who are very close friends, but spread out all over the world. It is Zoe’s turn to take the spotlight in this one. As with the other books, the timeline moves on but we get to find out a lot about the past of each woman as we go through.

Zoe is a travel writer, and travels all around the world writing her blog. Following a serious accident when she was younger, Zoe is now in a wheelchair, and her blog focuses on accessibility for disabled travellers. When we meet her here she is in Tahiti, filling in for a fellow blogger who was unable to take the job. It seems like just another job until Zoe meets a blast from the past who shakes things up a bit and makes her question her past and her present.

This is another cute, warm and fuzzy romance which I loved. I didn’t think this one flowed as well as the previous two for some reason, but I still really enjoyed it even though it was not my favourite of the series so far. Zoe is strong and independent and I thought her disability was well written and portrayed in a way which showed that it did not change who she was as a person. The POV changes between Zoe and her love interest Finn, so we get to see what each character is thinking. There were times when I just wanted them to be brave and go for it which was very frustrating! The setting as always is amazing and the descriptions are in such a way that you can picture the tropical islands and setting sun.

This series is perfect for anyone looking for a light read, a cute summery romance and characters that you fall in love with and root for.

I can’t wait for the 4th in the series to see what happens next!

Meet Me In Tahiti is an emotional, gut-wrenching story of a second chance with love and moving on from the past. Having read the first two books in this series earlier this year, I already knew I was going to love this one.

Zoe Tayler is a fierce and strong-willed heroine. As being wheelchair-bound for the rest of her life, she is unable to do many things she wants and it’s so inspirational, for other people who are in the same situation as her, to read about how she doesn’t let fear take over, she is determined and her journey throughout this book was beautiful. Of course, she had flaws and she makes mistakes but Zoe is perfect in her own way, and she is a spectacular main character which we all need more in books.

Finlay Doherty is a man who knows what he wants! His story was as heartbreaking as Zoe’s and as always, he makes mistakes but he loves with everything in him. He was just such a fantastic hero, and I could not think of anyone more perfect for Zoe than him. He is strong, loyal, and so forgiving. He understands so clearly and doesn’t dwell on the past. He was a magnificent character to read about and it’s always a joy to read about the character finally getting their happy ending!

Together, they just fit like a puzzle. Zoe and Finn just balance each other out so much, and although there may be times where sometimes fear takes over their senses, they just know the other is there. After years of heartache, they finally overcome the past and start living in the present. They just love each other so much, and it’s that one of a kind, once in a lifetime love you can never replace.

This book is magnificent, and I recommend everyone to read this book. I loved every bit of it, from the first page to the last, and I am beyond excited for the next instalment in this series.

5⭐️

Having read (and loved) the two previous books in this series, I couldn't wait to travel to Tahiti to meet fabulous and fearless Zoe, our next leading lady.

MMIT is the first romance novel that I have read, where disability is represented so well. Amongst all the typical traits of romantic fiction, at no point was Zoe's disability dismissed. It's beautiful backdrop of the French Polynesia, transports you to the heart of its vacational fun, where you'll revel in Zoe's real zest for life and get caught up in Finn and Zoe's touching story of a second chance at love.

Both characters are perfectly flawed and still harbour feelings for one another, yet their fear of rejection keeps them holding onto the 'what ifs' of the past rather than admitting their feelings. With plenty of will they/won't they? moments, that'll have you holding your breath, it's a love story fuelled by emotion and a relationship you can't help but root for!

It's obvious that Finn and Zoe were always meant to be together. There's no shortage of passion, their chemistry is unabashedly sexy and their connection undeniable. So witnessing them slowly rekindle their long-awaited romance and right the wrongs of their past was an absolute delight and the stupidly romantic ending was just the perfect happily-ever-after - I loved it!

Meet me in Tahiti is the third book in the ‘Meet me in’ series and Georgia Toffolo has done it again with this absolutely fabulous tropical romance.  These books could all be read as stand-alone novels, but I think to get the most from them you should read in order of release - London, Hawaii and then Tahiti!

This time we follow our Lost Hours Girl Zoe on her recent trip to Tahiti as a travel journalist and her opportunity at a second chance romance.

Zoe is an amazing character, she has had her fair share of challenges throughout her life and overcome such significant barriers to really come into her own.  Zoe is not your average heroine and the representation in this book is on point!  Not all heroes wear a cape, some have 4 wheels.

The Meet me in books are quite possibly my favourite series, I would love to have a friendship group like the Lost Hour Girls and I wouldn’t say no to going to Tahiti either!

Roll on the fourth book and getting to know Lily that little bit more as I feel I know the least about her.

I have absolutely loved this series of books, which follow the lives of 4 childhood friends, and their lives as they are now. Each book focuses on one of the friends, and this is the third book in the series.
As a full time wheelchair user myself, Zoe's story was the one that I was most looking forward too, as I wanted to see how the character was portrayed, as I have never read a romance book where the main character was disabled.
I liked the fact that Zoe was a strong, and independent woman and that she was very successful at what she did, yet the story also showed that she also had some vulnerabilities too.
I felt this book didn't flow quite as easily as the other 2, but I didn't enjoy it any less - it was just a bit more of a complex read as it delved into Zoe's past a lot before and during her accident.
Fantastic read, which is part of a great series and would definitely recommend.

Set in romantic Tahiti, Zoe and Finn meet again after twelve years and find that the attraction still burns brightly between them but are they brave enough to overcome past differences? Zoe is a travel writer who explores holiday resorts to discover their accessibility. Zoe's story is a journey of self-discovery, coming to terms with her past and taking a second chance at love with Finn. The story features Victoria, Lily and Malie and is told from Zoe and Finn's viewpoints.

The setting is well described, and the friendship dynamic between the women is pivotal to the story and well written. This is an enjoyable chapter in the Meet Me series, humorous, poignant and romantic.

I received a copy of this book from Mills and Boon via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

A lovely, romantic comedy with a love/hate relationship and a wonderful cast of characters.

Zoe wants to escape somewhere tropical and when she is sent to Tahiti for work, it is the perfect time for her to relax and unwind. But a spanner is firmly wedged in the works, when it turns out her bad boy ex - Finn - is the owner of the hotel she's gone to review.

The will they/won't they trope had been seen 4billion times before, as has the bad boy ex turned good. But this story is sweet, progressive and has so much charm you can forgive some of the obvious clichés.

I enjoyed this book a lot - it was like a warm hug and a tropical holiday all in one. A great instalment in the series and I'm looking forward to the next.

Having read the previous two "meet me in" books in the series I was looking forward to reading this one.
However, I felt that it was very predictable and didn't flow as well as the previous books. I did feel that Zoes's disability was portrayed in a way that showed that it didn't change her as a person.
This series is perfect for anyone looking for a light read.

Aww its great to see these friends back together again. I like the way series links up so much. This one definitely did not disappoint. Hot, steamy, fun. I do think there is not enough representation of wheelchair uses in stories so really appreciate the diversity of this story and the emotion that comes with it. Such a great story.

The perfect summer read! This was the first book of the Meet Me series I'd read, so went in completely blind with what to expect, but ended up loving it and getting invested with all of the characters and their development, especially Zoe and Finn's slow burn romance story! The flashbacks were really nice as well, giving context to their life back in Hawke's Cove and introducing clever parallels, and loved the references to the other girls who feature in the Meet Me series. After reading Meet Me in Tahiti, I can't wait to go read the other three girls' stories in the series and experience more of Toff's writing style!!!

It's not often I choose to read a romance, let alone continue with a series. But Toff certainly has me hooked on her Meet Me series, and now I just have to see how every story plays out for each character.

Meet Me In Tahiti is another warm, authentic, and beautifully written romance with strong characters and a lot of personalities. Zoe is a fantastic character, and I love that her disability is always one of the last things to be mentioned about her, never the first. Toff does a phenomenal job of writing her character and repping her wheelchair use, and every issue is tackled sensitively and honestly.

The love story is very different from the first two books with it being a "second chance at love" so although it does follow a very similar structure, it still feels like an original story, with Zoe and Finn already having a history from which resolutions need to be made.

But because I knew how the story would play out, it didn't grip me in the same way that the first two books did. Still, it's a romance that I enjoyed reading which is a rarity for me, and it definitely adds a lot to the series as a whole so I only have positive things to say!

The previous two audiobooks have been narrated by Toff herself which is part of the reason that I was so engaged with them. This time, Toff chose to use an "own voice" narrator which was a great idea.

I love a good second chance romance and this book really didn’t disappoint as we follow Zoe and Finn throughout this book. Zoe comes from a small seaside village in England, and has been fighting for independence from the village and her parents all of her life. Finn had a difficult life growing up , and never felt like he was good enough for Zoe despite loving her. Zoe is involved in a car accident and ends up moving to Australia to take control of her life, and Finn has become a successful businessman and made something of himself running a whole chain of holiday resorts. When Zoe ends up at one of Finn’s resorts will the spark between them still be there? Will Finn let Zoe down again or will he make it all up to her? Read this wonderful book to find out!

This book had me gripped from start to finish and I devoured it very quickly, I love a good romance book that has believable characters and doesn’t seem completely unrealistic for the events to happen, and this book nails that. Zoe and Finn are strong, relatable and lovable characters and I loved getting to know them both. You can really see just how much Finn cares about Zoe and honestly it times it made my heart swell to see how he acts around her and with her. I absolutely loved this and would recommend to anyone looking for a really cute romance book.

Thank you so much to Mills & Boon for sending me a proof in exchange for an honest review.

It's finally time for Zoe's story. Whooo!

Although petite and on a wheelchair, Zoe is a force to be reckon with. After being cuddled her whole life, she decided she had enough and started travelling the world reviewing resorts on their accessibility. Everything seems to go fine, until she finds out the owner of their latest resort she's reviewing is her teenage crush, Finn. He has come a long way from the poor bad boy that he once was, and now Finn can count numerous accomplishments to his name. However, when the two of them meet, it's like nothing has changed and they both want to make the other acknowledge their own success. With a lot of head butts and friends who know what's better for them, the two can't help rekindle their love.

This is the third book in Georgia Toffolo's "Meet Me In..." series that follows 4 friends, Victoria, Lily, Malie and Zoe. This instalment is Zoe's story.

Having really enjoyed the first 2 books, I was very keen to read this one, and it didn't disappoint. Zoe loved Finn as a teenager but circumstances were such that they could not be together. A chance meeting in Tahiti brings them back together, can they overcome their memories and finally be as they want?

I love how each book in the series stands alone but weaves threads of the previous stories in, how we can clearly see the strength of the girls' friendship. I now cannot wait for the fourth instalment!

We rejoin Victoria, Malie, Zoe and Lily. This time we learn Zoe's story about how she came to be in her wheelchair and how she has adapted to the struggles she faces and over come them.

This was a brilliant book written so sensitively with an understanding of how a disabled person can feel and lessons to be learnt about how to help without making them feel as if they are a burden. It explores the dynamic between independence and learning to accept help. This is a brilliant book about Love and Friendship. 2 topics that Georgia Toffolo seems to write about brilliantly!

I cant wait for Lily's story.

A very enjoyable addition to the series. Despite the injuries Zoë received in a motor accident when she was eighteen; which have left her in a wheelchair, she has carved out a successful career as a travel writer, looking at travel from the point of view of a wheelchair user. From a small child she had been cosseted, everyone in the village of Hawkes Cove watched out for her. After the accident her parents became over protective, taking her round the world seeking treatment that might help her walk again. She had a real struggle to become independent, but had succeeded, her parents were happy that her assistant Cristina was always there. They still panicked if they did not frequently hear from her, but Zoë was now able to live a reasonably independent life, having made Sydney, Australia her base.

Before the accident she had worked in a cafe with Finn Doherty, and she really liked him. However he was from the opposite side of the tracks, a bad boy, her parents thoroughly disapproved of him. After her accident he went to the hospital, and said he would look after her; but it was impossible, he was already looking after his very sick mother, with very little money, and anyway - her parents would never agree to it. Shortly afterwards they began their ‘extended holiday’, in reality the search for a cure, and Finn was left, always feeling not good enough.

After his mother died Finn left the village and nobody knew where he had gone. He worked hard in the travel industry, and eventually became very wealthy, creating luxury resorts around the world. He was married for a while, but it was more of a business arrangement between friends, each providing part of the equation that made a successful business.

Zoë is feeling restless, she soon has to go home to Hawkes Cove for her friend wedding, and she has avoided going back for a long time. Another wheelchair travel writer falls ill and she agrees to go to a new resort in Tahiti in his place. She hasn’t done her usual research, so is very shocked to find that the owner of the resort is Finn! He is due to leave the next day, but finds he can’t - he has to talk to Zoe. What follows is an interesting week, it takes a while but they do eventually have all the conversations they need to soothe the hurt they both suffered all those years ago. Zoe also learns to talk to her parents honestly and rell them about the life she is leading, which allows them to calm down and stop panicking if they don’t hear from her several times a day.

It is a very positive story, a few sad bits, but a very happy ending. Well worth reading.
