Now nothing is what it appears to be. Everything I’ve known up until now was a fallacy. This ghost has me questioning everything that I know. Running from the past isn’t something I can do. Honestly…. One star is generous.
The dialect was so scattered and ADD, the characters were very shallow in description I was constantly confused with who was who, the hero and villain bounced around so much I had whip lash.
Let’s just lay it out….
Cheating girlfriend
Madly in love with friend
Knocked up cheating ex
All three brothers have twins and get married
Then all the wives die….
Then the love comes back but ends up being a crazy MC gang girl??
Then the fbi is involved but then the fbi is bad? I think?
Then he meets another girl and falls in love
People die? People fake die?
Oh they add in some BdSM because his new love used to be a stripper/ DOM at a club 😂😂 like what?!
This book was just too much. Like just pick a trope and play it out don’t try to smoosh in every genre and trope in one book. Terrible is an understatement.

Phenomenal book full of twists, turns, drama and action that is well written. The author has written a beautiful story that flows and has taken the time to make sure the readers can follow the story. Parts got confusing but in the next paragraph were explained, flashbacks are written in italic to make you aware you were reliving a memory and when Italian was written in the next sentence we were told what was said so you don't have to look it up. The characters and their stories are amazing and keep you guessing as to what will happen in the end.
This story is about Trent - Trent and Rose are high school sweethearts but Rose hurts Trent and they breakup. Trent and his best friend Aria hook up and Trent is heartbroken when she up and leaves. He ends back up with Rose one drunken night. They have kids and get married - then lies are uncovered when tragedy strikes, leaving him a single dad. Ghosts from his past show up and a few days later Trent meets Kimberly. Trent and Kimberly connect and have great chemistry. Then between in laws and past ghosts the drama begins taken you on a wild rollercoaster ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Will Trent and Kimberly's love survive when the odds are staked against them? You'll have to read the book to find out.

What a fabulous series this is but this book just completely floored me. My heart was broken again and again with Trent’s story. He would have to be the most unlucky in love man on the planet but he is totally devoted to his two daughters and his family. I felt every ounce of anguish, grief and pain that Trent felt and when he locked eyes with the love of his life, Kimberley, I thought his luck had truly changed but unfortunately someone from his past enters his life again and turns everything upside down for years to come. So much drama and uncertainty with Trent and Kimberley but their love is strong to withstand everything that is thrown at them. Loved all the drama and angst that was brought to them and I loved reading all about them and their extended family. A great storyline that will keep you on the edge of your seat and biting your nails with every word you read. This book is definitely my favourite in this series. Congratulations to Alandra Knight on this five star read.

Stacked Against Us blow me away from the start!
Alandra Knight is a spectacular author. She has a way with words and knows how to draw you right into her storylines. She makes you feel every emotion that her characters go through and let me tell you her characters take you through a world wind of emotions and every second of it is worth it.
Having Trent and the Brentwood brothers back was just what I needed. Watching Trent transform into a family man was one of my favorite things about Stacked Against Us.
You get a bit everything with this book twists, drama and yes some amazing steamy parts!
One of the biggest question is will Trent's past come back to haunt him and will he finally get his happily ever after?
I highly recommend this book and series to anyone looking for some entertaining reads!

Whew, lemme tell ya! The angst I felt while reading this book? No words! I swear I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. If I was a mail biter I’d probably have no nails left. No lie.
While the angst was off the charts, it did not take away from the emotions either. Just like the previous books, this book will take you on one heck of a roller coaster ride. You will laugh. You will cry. You will get stabby- on MORE than one occasion. And you will swoon. OH will you swoon. This couple really deserves their happy ending, and boy do they go through some trials and tribulations to try to get there.
There were still some issues with time gaps without warning, but not many. The story is very well thought out, and the character development is off the charts amazing.
I can’t wait to find out what comes next.

This book is just WOW!!! I feel like I've waited forever for Trent's story and he officially has my heart now! Everything this family has been through together and they are still just as strong. I always knew there was more to Trent than meets the eye and this gives you that look inside of him. I even found myself learning more about each of the Brentwood brothers in this one too!
Alandra did an amazing job and had me feeling all the emotions at this one. I was happy, sad, mad/angry, in love & heartbroken, but all in the best ways possible. You should definitely give this book a read and if you haven't read the rest of the series check it out too!

Wow! What a book, just when you think you have the story, another twist. I kept reading just to see how this comes together in the end. The story spans about 10 years and the trials and tribulations of whether Trent will get his HEA. The ghosts, the drama, the chemistry, a strong family, the surprises in almost every chapter weave a tale with more turns than Lombard Street. This is the third book in the series but can stand alone.

This is an amazing book! I loved it! I have read all of Alandra Knight’s books and they are all Fantastic, this one being no exception! This book pulls out all the feels! You will Want to laugh, cry, throw things, and probably curse out a character or two! You definitely do not want to miss out on Trent’s story, or this series for that matter!

Wow, another amazing book. This series just gets better and better. We finally find out what is going on after things happened in other books. I couldn't put book down.
I loved Trent and Kimberly together, they had a instant connection when they meet. But they have so much to overcome because of circumstances Trent can't help.

A tangled web. That is a phrase used over and over in Trent’s story. And it truly is. There was so much confusion while reading this, and it took me time to get all the characters straight. Characters from Jaxson and Xander’s stories that I was confused about too, but in Stacked Against Us it became clearer. One story to go…

Wow wow wow!!! This is i believe my favorite book in this series. So many things happened. My head is still spinning. That ending blew me away. I never seen it coming!! The wait for this book was so worth it. Fantastic job Alandra❤❤❤❤

WOW! Love this finding our forever series. The Brentwood brothers have been through so much. But with each book in this series we get to find out more and more about them. Alandra does an amazing job of brining these characters to life and making them hard to put the stories down.

Interesting but a bit confusing. This story fills in some of the holes from the previous two books but added some questions as well.
I have a soft spot for all of the brothers because of what they went through. But Trent seems to have taken too many wrong paths to his HEA.

I thought this book was fantastic. It was the juiciest book so far . Filled with intrigue.. heartbreak.. and true love! I love how brave Kimberley is ! Trent needed that in a woman. The web of lies and deceptions that surround the MC group $ well done AUTHOR ALANDRA KNIGHT

We keep getting more info out of the same story line. It is never what I expect. There's so much drama. I can't believe that it all happened. I am so happy that they will finally get their happy ending.

I love this book. It was amazing and gave me chills from the start. Trent has to go through many challenges before he meets Kimberley. Kimberley changes Trent and he found love again. I loved it

This book is full of drama and twists and turns from the gate. I love the Brentwood boys and highly recommend this series.
These boys have all been through hell and back. Trent's story is no different. He suffers unimaginable heartache and pain. Then he suffers the death of his children's mother. There are so many questions for him to work through. He finally finds the girl of his dreams and you are so excited for him and Kimberly. Then the skeletons start coming out and he has a tough go. In the end Trent keeps the girl and you get to fall in love with the both of them. I highly recommend this book and series as a whole. You will love it and fall in love with the Brentwood boys. I can't say enough about Alandra's books they are fantastic.

I wish I had read the first two books, just to see if I missed anything important. Though I did not, i loved this book. The characters felt like family to me. Ginger was amazing, almost as if imagined into existence. The steamy scenes were so well written I felt like the female in all of them, and also wished I was the female during the scenes. The family dynamic and undeniable love was something from fairy tales and generations ago. Finding your all-in-one sounds like the most amazing feeling in the world. Calla and Jazzy were amazing as well, I loved watching them grow up and turn into the beautiful young women they did. I will definitely backtrack and read the rest of the series now.
