This really was more than a love triangle between Diamond, Porsha & Capone as there were two others involved. The author gifted me with a few lines that were funny and some that had me giving the "auntie" nod in agreement. i.e. The streets are cold for a black man, but the right black woman can change the temperature. The story moved fairly well despite there being a few lulls in certain areas for me. All in all, a good story that I read in one sitting and I can see why the ladies love this author. He has a talent for writing characters who appear to be speaking to each reader.
Side note: I appreciated the author's transparency in the acknowledgment section

Omg, I don’t know if I can’t wait for part 3 uugghhh. Capone is a straight B***h!! I Can’t wait till Diamond puts his paws on Capone. Capone swears he’s untouchable!! Fingers crossed Diamond, and Porsha stays together. Fingers crossed Porsha’s Dad is okay. Fingers crossed Capone gets what’s coming to him!!!

Quardeay thank you for this series. Can’t wait for part 3. Keep up the good work.

Wow

Ms Rose your father is WHAT??? Man ain’t no way you ended this book like that!!! Whew child… can you say jaw dropper??? I love how part 2 picked up exactly where part one left off! Part 2 did the same as the first book and that’s pull me in! Every turn of the page kept me wanting to read more! If you haven’t started on this series I suggest you do ASAP!!! Next part me please!!

Bentleys and Porshas

Part 2 of this series is just as good as Part 1! I’m just as invested and couldn’t put it down! From the word play to the vivid description, and even the deep immersion into the world that Milwaukee is all on its own, this book and the series as a whole does not disappoint! I’m jumping straight into Part 3 because I HAVE to see how Quardeay brings this story full circle. (That, and the cliffhanger at the end of the book has me in a full chokehold lol)

Pt 3 Pt 3

I didn’t leave a comment on pt 1 because it was 🔥🔥🔥 and I needed to get to pt 2 ASAP. Lord Jesus I wasn’t disappointed at all. Although I’m not familiar with your books I definitely will be reading them now. Can’t wait for pt 3 to drop. Hopefully it’s ASAP!!!!!!! 🔥🔥reading 🔥🔥🔥writing. "CAP"

Capone, was a pure mess. He did just what he wanted to do until Porsha finally stood up now he doing the most in making things hell. I love Diamond how he carries himself and the way he handles things. The ending was a big cliffhanger. Can't wait for the next part to come out..good read

Boy I swear Capone just messes everything up. Can't wait until he gets X'd out fr. I hope Porsha's dad is okay. I hate that they were arguing and stuff when he had that heart attack. Can't wait to see what's gone be poppin in book 3. Good job Quardeay with these two books.
