FEEL-GOOD, PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE

YOU CAN’T KEEP A GOOD MAN DOWN. The scorned woman and the loyal lawyer will charm you silly. This book is a certified toe-curler. I got a feel-good contact high just from the Kindle pages. My mama used to say that a woman doesn’t need to chase a man. If a man wants her, she’ll know it by his deeds and actions rather than words, and nothing will keep him from her. He’ll find a way to get to her despite all odds, so three cheers for hi-powered lawyer Sebastian Blake, the studly Leo who schooled me in just exactly what that means. Yummity, lipsmackin’, droolworthy, heart palpitating YUM. It doesn’t hurt that he has one of my fave names for a romantic hero, and believe me that scrumptious, admirable man puts his money where his mouth is. Smack dab on fetching chocolatier Amy Morgana’s willing lips. This winsome writing duo continues to charm me with the Zodiac love series of men that rouse and rile us in all kinds of goosebumpy ways, but ultimately prove that they’re worth every bit of trouble in the end.
If you’ve been following this series then you already know that the books and characters are not cookie-cutter carbon copies of each other. Each guy is totally different. Some of the romances are more hilarious, while others dish up more drama. This romance will not bowl you over with laughs. It’s a slow, careful glide to love with genuine, honorable characters, and a serious dilemma that threatens to pry the lovers apart. That’s not to say the story lacks humor and cuteness between the MCs, some rousingly entertaining sibling banter, and a couple of adorable kids. My heartiest laughs were at the barbecue. This one is mainly about making a real connection that doesn’t aim for laughs, yet still has lighthearted moments. I liked Amy and Sebastian. There wasn’t any reason not to like them, and the comedy relief comes from Amy’s funny bestie Chastity and part-time assistant Shawn from Amy’s fledgling chocolate business. A pair of funny matchmaking “snoops” who can’t see their own perfection for each other. And Sebastian’s assistant Miles was any boss’s gem employee.
Sebastian is hot as the sun, commandingly in charge, and seemingly perfect in his desire to protect others … but there’s a flaw hidden in there somewhere, right? And Amy is every bit his love match. An independent woman pursuing her passionate calling to start a business all on her own. There’s bound to be a clash when hearts are involved and fate throws an unexpected curve. The love, dedication, smoldering sex and selflessness of this couple ensnared me, and there were so many descriptions expressed in delicious, chocolate metaphors. Watch out though. This couple shares a date that will make your innards ripple. It all comes down to what constitutes a family and whether true love stand in the way of it.
This romance is what you get from a meet-cute via text to a stranger at the wrong number that turns into a perfect matchmaking accident, and a guy determined to protect, cherish, and help the gal he’s smitten with in every possible way. There are problem-making exes resulting from a philandering jerk and an accidental pregnancy, but divine intervention sets everything right. A cutesy Bridgerton series’ mention made me smile. I didn’t see the eventual conflict coming, and there were two unpredictable twists that took me by surprise. Pour yourself a cold one, relax, and enjoy a manly man we’d all like to know.

A story full of chocolate, a sexy AF lawyer, and some baby drama? Yes, please.
A horrible ex, an entertaining meet-cute, a Pomeranian named Lady Featherington, and an unconventional relationship made this a story I really enjoyed.
I loved the way they meet - a text to the wrong number…oopsie. I was immediately drawn to Sebastian from the beginning. He was very easy to be smitten with. His huge heart shined through in his words and actions. And although he’s a bit cocky (aka: confident), his intentions were always honest and heartfelt and good.
Amy is a chocolatier looking to grow her business. She’s a little down on her luck, but she’s not giving up. Meeting Sebastian wasn’t in the plans, but it certainly did help her situation. And they really couldn’t help the sparks that flew between them when they were together.
Sebastian gets quite the shocking news shortly after he and Amy start dating. His ex is pregnant. GASP. Can their new relationship handle the baby bomb and the stresses and the worries and the what-ifs? Not gonna lie, there was a point where I thought this was going to be too predictable and wouldn’t go the way I wanted it and I was afraid I was not going to like it. But I was wrong! I was very pleased with the way it went and ended up loving everyone, even the baby mama.
While some of the other books in this series are fun and good for some laughs, this one takes on a more serious tone. That’s one thing I enjoy about this series. Each one has a unique hero with different, charming qualities, and is always a special treat and a nice surprise.
Loyal Lawyer is another great addition to this series!

Oh my word get ready for the swoon worthy Sebastian Blake. Our suave, intelligent, compassionate and total hottie of an attorney. When a text gone astray finds him he feels like it is kismet. He has just finished a huge case and wants to pay it forward.
Amy Morgana is our talented chocolatier. She has fallen on tough and infuriating times. A two timing boyfriend is about to ruin her good credit and she is on the cusp of starting her own business. Oh he also took her dog and left their rental in a shambles. When she sends an angry text it just so happens to go to the wrong man or is it the right man? Loved their texts and calls!
This was a sweet, funny, sexy tale of two people finding one another in the big city and navigating their hurdles to finally figure out what they want and need. Blake wants to help Amy and Amy wants to bring her dream to life but what they weren't expecting is the connection that is undeniable. Loved it !!

I was really enjoying this up until the pregnancy with the ex! I think the H Treated the h terribly I thought she was being so understanding given the circumstances & he threw it all back in her face. I was hoping for a different outcome with the paternity test so was disappointed where the story went!

5* Sexy Lawyer Stars
This instalment of the Zodiac Series was such a fun, sexy and heartfelt read. Amy, who is a chocolatier gets an unwanted call from her ex-landlord demanding that she pays the outstanding rent due on the apartment she once shared with her ex-boyfriend Hardin.
When she sends an angry text to him, she does not expect to receive an instant call back. To her astonishment the call is not from Hardin but from a guy called Sebastian. Amy text the wrong number! Not only does Sebastian sound sexy and charming on the phone, he is also a lawyer who is more than willing to provide help pro bono.
When they meet their chemistry is instant, but both are hesitant to act upon it due to their pasts and what the future is presenting. Decisions must be made for their relationship to move forward. There were a few angsty moments and a twist thrown in that I did not anticipate.
The characters were so likeable and their story real! I loved this book which was well written and flowed well. The epilogue finished off their story perfectly and I was so happy for them all.

I love this astrology based series. I scored the banter and chemistry in this one and hoe unconventional the storyline was. I did have a few issues about Lauren in the end and that drama that came about, but all in all, a fun story.

The entertaining story of Sebastian Blake and Amy's story is fun to read, we get the famous wrong number to text to. The storyline was interesting, the twist and turns had me reading it at a good pace. it was overall very entertaining. I always enjoy the humor and lightness these authors have for their character's interactions as well as how they have me reading through it like no time passed.

I was intrigued when I read the blurb for this one and couldn’t wait to read Loyal Lawyer. I fell hard and fast Sebastian Blake, what a swoon worthy man who ticked the boxes for me and is everything you would want in a book boyfriend.
All it takes is one action to change the course of ones life forever. That's what happens when Amy sends a scathing text to her ex, or so she thought. Turns out Sebastian was on the other end of the text and so fate puts them together. This was an entertaining story that had me invested in their story from the first to the last chapter.
There were a number of twists and turns, some that I didn’t see coming that had me hooked. Could Amy finally have found the man she never knew she needed in her life or is fate going to rip it all away just when they realize that they are meant to be together?

Honestly this book was a breath of fresh air. Fantastic loveable characters and a storyline that held my attention till the very end. Only problem is I need so much more from these two. Is there potential for these two to become more despite the bumps along the way?

An unconventional meet cute, a sexy, trustworthy, devoted, hardworking lawyer who fights for the right things. These two have the simmering chemistry ever since they met, but as they grow a bit closer, surprising news puts a pause in their pursuance of each other.
I couldn’t put this book down! Twists and turns, complications, a really charming hero, very likeable characters, loved the storyline and I was hooked!

I am just loving this series, this one is my favorite so far. The connection and strong pull that Sebastian and Amy feel is so strong you can feel it coming off the pages. The crazy things life can throw at you can be heartbreaking and relationship breaking. When this happens with them, will they tough it out or will one them not be able to handle it? You will have to read to find out. This was very well written and loved the kind of laugh out loud moments and the vulnerable ones. I truly loved this book and I am looking forward to the next one.

Amy meets Sebastian by texting him when she thought she was texting her loser ex boyfriend. Sebastian just happens to be a lawyer who thinks her text is amusing and want to meet her and help her out. They fall for each other quick but both of them want to takes things slow. Throw in some baby drama and this book keeps your emotions up and down and continuing to turn the page to see if they make it til the end.

Wonderfully fabulous!! I am loving this series and this is the Leo book and wow!! Amy accidentally texts Sebastian and they hit off. Sebastian is a noble and all round good guy helps Amy out with her ex but wants more. They have a wonderful chemistry but there is a bombshell announcement that leaves things uncertain. I was riveted wait to see what would happen next and with this charming man and wonderful woman. This story certainly had me hooked and I didn’t want it to end. This book and series is irresistible and I want more. I received this book as an arc.

But then, this book popped up, and Dayum... I started it right away.
Jeannine Colette and Lauren Runow are the best. Their writing completes each other and you will be hooked from the beginning.

What a book... What a story this was.
Perfect plot, very well written, super engaging.
Once I started to read it, I couldn't put it down.
I loved every chapter.
Every up and down, every hot scene, every emotion.
It made my heart so big I thought it might burst.
The characters worked perfectly with each other and you could feel the love they shared.
Of course that every good story must have its conflict.
Not everything in life is a bed of roses, sometimes we must be careful with the thorns.
This book was perfect in every way, and I wanted to keep reading.

Loyal Lawyer is a standalone romance by a great writing duo! This book is for Leo.
Loyal Lawyer is Sebastian Blake and Amy Morgana’s story. I think that Sebastian must be the perfect man. After all, Amy thinks that Sebastian is “handsome, witty and brilliant”. But he is a man and he does have some baggage. Such as a baby by another woman. It isn’t what you may be thinking. He didn’t cheat. He broke up with the woman that is now carrying his baby. Sebastian is torn. Between the woman he loves and the woman who is carrying his child.
Amy is trying to get rid of her own baggage and Sebastian is just the man to help her with her legal troubles.
I loved Sebastian and Amy’s story. This book has all the feels. 5 STARS

This is an amazing and beautiful love story, first and foremost, and secondly, a powerful tale of two people finding acquiescence within themselves and with one another. I love the cover (OMG, he is sexy and fine!) and the blurb for this story. Sebastian Blake and Amy Morgana meet in an unconventional way by Amy texting to the wrong number—Sebastian—and not her unfaithful boyfriend—giving Sebastian an eye full within the message. Of course, Amy thought she was texting her no good boyfriend, who left her owing back rent and having to fix the apartment because he trashed it to the landlord, and when Sebastian called Amy to tell her she sent the message to the wrong number, Amy was ready to give him an ear full, until she heard the sexy and deep voice on the other end—this was not the no good ex on the phone. Amy is a chocolatier trying to grow her business, but she has one faithful employee as well as her bestie friend. Sebastian is an attorney, a Leo, swoon worthy, is carefree, focused and successful, loyal to those he cares about, and he is not looking for a relationship; but he is intrigued with Amy’s story and would like to help her. The zodiac series is one that I cannot get enough of, each story is a standalone that you can read in any order. Amy and Sebastian’s story is filled with so many emotions. We’re given a wonderful blend of romance, drama as well as heartache at times. The storyline flows beautifully straight from the beginning until the last words are written, you can easily connect with each of the characters. I loved both Amy and Sebastian’s personalities throughout this story, the passion both of them have for life and the things they want out of it are inspiring. Its not too common to hear about people like them in the world but it’s nice to think that they are out there. I would love to see a possible mini story with Charity and Shawn in the future, they were great secondary characters.

He is amused by her outburst and offers to help her sort out the financial and legal trouble she finds herself in. As it turns out, he is a very successful lawyer, determined to give back where he can.
Sebastian is very easy to fall in love with. He's charming, sweet, dedicated, and sexy as all hell. When they meet, there is instant attraction, but a complication arises in the form of a pregnant ex-girlfriend. Amy decides she doesn't want to stand in the way of Sebastian's chance at a happy family life. I mean, I get not wanting to get involved with a guy with a kid, but that's not it. I think a deeper conversation is warranted here.
Amy is the youngest of five children and determined to make her business a success. She also has support from her assistant and her best friend. These characters and their interactions make this a well-rounded story; Amy has a life both before and after meeting Sebastian. Does he add to it? Yes, definitely. Is she a damsel in distress? Not particularly. I like reading about a feisty, independent woman. And her dog is just precious!

Loyal Lawyer is another entertaining book in the Zodiac Series. This time it is a Leo, and a perfect Leo you will meet when you read this book.
Amy is trying to work on making her Amy Morgana Chocolatier a success. Then she gets a disturbing call from her old landlord. Seems her ex-boyfriend stopped paying rent when she moved out and trashed the place, too. She had moved out three months ago, when she caught her boyfriend in their bed with the dog walker. The one she had hired. To add injury, they had keep her dog. A Pomeranian named Lady Featherington. It was Amy's name on the lease, because she was the one who had good credit. The landlord wanted her to pay up. Amy is so mad that she tries to call her ex. The voice on the other end of the line sounds nothing like her ex. She had deleted his phone number & had dialed from memory. This is how she found Sebastian Blake, who happens to be one of the best lawyers in Philadelphia.
Sebastian Blake is perfect. He is everything she always wanted in a man. He is gorgeous to look at also. He is her dream man and she couldn't believe he could still be single. They end up talking to each other and he ends up giving her some pro bono legal help with a landlord issue that she’s dealing with. Amy is a chocolatier, and Sebastian is a lawyer, and they just mesh. Sebastian is one of the most likable lawyers in the world of fiction, and readers will likely swoon over this guy! Amy creates chocolate confections that sound amazing! It would be awesome to have these two as friends.
This book will hold the interest of readers, as it has a compelling storyline that pulls you in. The tension and pace are perfect for this story, and the protagonists and supporting characters are fun to read and react to. There are a few issues that need to get navigated, but there is a HEA ending, so they do figure it out. There are some precious scenes in this story that most readers will enjoy. And there are a few cringe-worthy moments as well. There’s a lot of growth and depth in most of the major characters, and that elevates this story quite a bit. This story is a great candidate for a vacation read!

Loyal Lawyer : A Standalone Romance Novel by Lauren Runow and Jeannine Colette is the story of Amy Morgana a young lady who finds out her ex stiffed her with back rent and damages to an apartment she left months ago. Furious she texts him to give him a piece of her mind. She doesn't have the money and she is responsible for the cost because hers is the only name on the lease. Instead of the dead beat ex she get Sebastian Blake a hot shot attorney. Intrigued by her text he decides to help her. Reluctant at first to accept his help she relents. The chemistry between Sebastian and Amy is instantaneous. Another hit in this zodiac series. If you haven't read the previous books please do so. You will not be disappointed. Amy's choice of men has been disastrous so when Sebastian shows interest she is not willing eventhough he is sexy as hell. When Amy decides to give Sebastian a try they no sooner learn his ex is pregnant. The fact of a new relationship and a baby with the ex can cause many issues. The journey to a relationship between the two was rather interesting. Between her family, trying to get her business off the ground, the treacherous ex and her friend and worker I was thoroughly entertained. I did laugh quite often. It also didn't hurt that Sebastian was not only sex on a stick but a really good, upstanding guy. Certainly not your typical arrogant holier-than-thou lawyer, he is a girl's dream man. I couldn't put this book. When these two authors get together I am always in for a real treat. Between the story and my love of the characters, this was a 5 star read.

I devoured this book! Loyal Lawyer is a sweet, flirty, swoon-worthy, emotional story. Amy has been dealt a difficult hand recently because of her ex-boyfriend, which leads to a chance encounter with Sebastian, who happens to be lawyer that is intrigued by the wrong number text messages. Once these two start talking, the conversations flow, flirty remarks tossed, and a connection that can't be ignored. But what happens when the past comes back and Sebastian is dealing with a baby on the way and they've only known each other a short time? Amy is independent and determined to get her chocolate business on track with her plan, and has been burned in the past that could affect her future with Sebastian. These two have an off the chart chemistry and take us on one seriously emotional rollercoaster. I loved these two and got swept away by their journey. Don't miss out on a fantastic read!
