When she is not working as a nurse in her community, she can either be found reading, writing, or taking a walk while listening to music. She has been writing books in her mind for as long as she can remember but decided that maybe there were others out in the world that would find joy in the words she would put down on the page.

Cody and Honee

Cody is the VP for his club and he is ex-FBI and he was definitely a womanizer. Cody meets Honee the very same night he had a job to do for the FBI. Honee is a “normal” size woman who has been bullied for her size and now she has someone come to her rescue against these bullies. It’s non other than Cody and Honee can’t figure out how such a gorgeous man would want anything to do with her.

This book was fast pace and was loaded with action, drama, and everything needed to make for a good MC read. This author sure knows how to write books that make you fall in love with her characters and Cody and Honee were no different.

I just cannot get enough of the Djinn brothers! This is the story of Cody and Honee. Cody is the VP of the Boys of Djinn who also happens to be the player of the group. HE is hot, sexy and very confident about his abilities. Honee is just a regular girl who has no self confidence in herself and seems to always put herself down because she is a size 14. She’s always been bullied about her weight and looks (even now as an adult) and it just broke my heart that she thought so low of herself. She doesn’t trust very easily and has a hard time believeing anything her best friend Margot tells her. Cody just happens to spot Honee in the woods running away from him and he is instantly smitten with her. He stands up for her against a group at the lake. Cody sees her again and asks her out on a date.

To watch Honee come alive with the way Cody handled her insecurities made me fall in love with him. Things aren’t easy for the two of them, as there is some drama, passion, and trouble as someone isn’t too happy with the Boys of Djinn! Great story, amazing characters! You will love the Boys of Djinn MC as you follow these raw, gritty, sexy alpha bikers who play hard and love hard. Cody and Honee's journey together was fast, emotional, dangerous with plenty of steamy moments between them.


Cody is VP of the Boys of Djinn who is this sexy dangerous biker who just happens to be a manwhore. The banter between him and his brothers as they go at him for his womanizing ways is hilarious and at times ends up in a brawl. When his brother Wyatt who is also the Pres of the club informs Cody of his next job as they work hand in hand with the FBI, he is told he needs to bring in a young woman who is robbing banks using his skills. Honee, is a sexy voluptuous young woman who lacks self esteem due to her being body shamed by others regarding her size. Her good friend and boss Margot begs her to go out with her to the lake. At the lake her night will end up being a nightmare when she is bullied and harassed by a group of men who make fun of her body.

Cody who is with his mark Kim, does what he does best and gets the info he needs about the bank heists while at the lake, but the more he is with her he sees she is selfish and self centered and can't wait to get rid of her . When they are in the midst of a sexual act he sees a beautiful woman running by crying. When Kim makes fun of her, Cody pushes her away to investigate just in time to save her from being attacked by a group of men. Now these two will have an instant attraction towards each other as Cody for the first time finds he is sexually drawn to her, when her friend finds her she leaves Cody. Now Cody, his brothers along with the FBI are able to bring Kim in but he gets into a confrontation with his brother who teases him about his sexual escapades and storms off. While on his own he walks around town until he sees Honee working in a boutique and goes in to talk to her. The conversation between them will be the beginning of a beautiful relationship as these two will both go through dramatic changes. Honee can't believe that his sexy man with his cover model looks would be attracted to someone like her. Now Cody has to show and convenience her that she is sexy and beautiful as he helps her embrace her body bringing out her sexual side. Cody for the first time no longer wants easy hookups as Honee has changed him. Once they give into the passion, Honee blossoms into this sexy, sensual young woman and for the first time Cody wants to claim a woman.


This story is full of intrigue and danger when someone sets the club house on fire leaving a cryptic message targeting Cody. With the club on lockdown Cody has to bring Honee in for her safety but a misunderstanding once he arrives at her house, has Cody leaving Honee. Honee who is fighting off her assailant who was connected to the woman that Cody had arrested was able to record her attack when she got away. Now she races to the clubhouse seeking Cody but they begin to argue as she has the proof of her innocence as Wyatt and his brothers learn that the man who has targeted them is non other than Zion enemy of the club. These two finally have the opportunity to be together and have a night full of unbridled passion. Now we have a race against time to get to Honee's friend Margot when she calls Honee and informs her she is being held by the same man who attacked her. Can they get to Margot in time as they see her store up in flames? Will Zion finally pay for his crimes against the club. This story had a sad climatic ending, but through all of it Cody and Honee will have a start at a life together as Cody's ol'lady. Now we have to wait for Sparks story which promises to be full of intrigue. You will fall in love with these Boys of Djinn MC as Rae B. Lake continues to take her readers on one hell of a ride!!!

Boys of Djinn are back and we get Cody's story. So we start out with Cody getting yelled at by a woman. Why is that? Well Cody is a man with needs and he has a way with the women. We also learn that he used to work for the FBI but something happened and he we don't get a lot of information about why. He just won't go back. However, we learn that the mc takes some jobs for the FBI. So he is assigned a case. While on the job he meets Honee. Now she is a curvy woman, with some self worth issues. People are not nice to her and degrade her by her looks. It is sad that she lets these words slay her. She sees herself not good enough for a man like Cody. What is weird though is with the women Cody has been with are the pretty ones who all guys flock too. However, there is something about Honee that draws him in. She doesn't like to be in crowds because she knows what they say about her. It makes her feel uncomfortable. Now we also see a side of Cody that I did not expect. It seems to me that he may have been hurt in the past by a former girlfriend in some instances. As they get to know each other Honee is waiting for the shoe to drop and her happy moments gone. Well something happens and it was not what the boys that would happen. Their relationship is tested and it is just a matter of whether or not they take that leap. Will they let each other go cause they can't handle the heat? So how does it all end? Read this book to find out.

Better than the first. Cody is a wimp though, with love.

So I have to say that this author really annoyed me. Honee is a size 14 US and a 18 U.K and shes 5’8”, so shes curvy. According to this author Honee is abused everywhere she goes! In the shop where she works, at a restaurant, and at a beach party. IT’S RIDICULOUS!!! No one gets bullied that much.

Honee has major insecurities, about her weight, her skin, her stretch marks. So when she meets Cody who looks like a model, she won’t believe him when he says she’s gorgeous. He gives her confidence and they start dating. Everything is great apart from Cody. He hears her pleasuring herself and is convinced that she’s got a man in her room. Even though she’s very obviously a virgin. He’s constantly questioning himself about how he is with her but then he doesn’t trust her at all. He lets her down so badly I would have dumped his arse!!! When it becomes obvious that she’s in danger, the Mc lock down while they try to figure out who wants to harm her.

The danger is really good, but I found the book really depressing. She has so many insecurities, she questions everything and thinks he’s tricking her so he can laugh at her. He was a man whore so he doesn’t trust her at all, as he was always with slutty women. And I absolutely hated the end! Will I read the next one? Yes probably as I want to know what happens.

Can’t go wrong with sexy, tattooed, bikers Cody sexy as all get out lady’s man who didn’t mind the ladies, VP of the MC but his brother’s and the MC is his family and with family you do what needs to be done so when his President asks him to do a job he doesn’t hesitate to accept. Honee is the ugly duckling (or so she thinks), low self-esteem, has been bullied for her curves and differences but that is what makes her so attractive. The moment Cody lays eyes on Honee everything is at a standstill, each breath is hard to take in and let out just from her beauty. She has a best friend that is always in her corner and wants the best for best friend and will stand up for her against the bullies who feel it is their right to make fun of her. Trust isn’t easy for her especially with a sexy as all get out man asking her out on a date, protecting her but the question she keeps asking herself is why her and is it all a joke being played on her, will Cody be able to convince her he is all in and that it is all her?

Powerful, Raw, Emotional

This second book in Boys of Djinn series is going to put your heart through the ringer but you will love Cody & Honee!! Cody is a playboy and has been with more women they he can remember and he has no intention of stopping soon. He’s happy for his brother finding his true love but Cody doesn’t think that’s in his cards. All that changes when he lays eyes on Honee. She is voluptuous and oh so sexy. He loves every curve her body and he can’t believe how mean and rude people can be. He wants nothing but to protect her and keep her smiling. He has a hard road to battle because Honee doesn’t have the best self esteem in herself and she can’t believe a man like Cody could want someone like her. She is so attracted to him but she worries it’s fleeting. Their love story is intense, emotional, and raw. There are dangers being in an MC and Cody will do anything to keep her protected but sometimes collateral damage does occur. This is intense but worth every minute. Happy Reading!!

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW of Cody, the second book in the Boys of Djinn MC series by Rae B. Lake. This is a relatively quick read that is deliciously sweet and spicy! While there are some spoilers for the first book, Wyatt, this read could be read as stand alone as it does have some resolution. There is a bit of a set up for the next book, Spark, but Honee and Cody's story does wrap up sweetly. I loved the action and the drama of this story and thought that Rae B. Lake did a great job with the romance development for Cody and Honee. You could feel Honee's stomach flutter of the first flirt, the anxiety, uncertainty and wonder of that first step into a relationship. Throw in an MC, the trouble following Cody and shake violently. A great read that combines sweet, sexy and nerve wracking in the best possible way. Mature Readers Recommended.

I am a little perplexed as to how to write this. I honestly love the author's other books, and usually I am not ashamed to tell everyone about it. From the beginning, the book had great promise. I mean bikers, FBI, undercover missions, bank robbers, and a girl who has been bullied all of her life. Totally loved where it was going.

However, somewhere along the way I got lost. Maybe it was all the negative comments about being fat, ugly, and having no moral values when it comes to the opposite sex. Maybe it was the rushed plot and ending. Nothing seemed to coherently stick together in the right manner.

Honestly, this one is ok for a fast read when there isn't a lot of time for a slower novel. Wish I felt better about reading it, because the author is really a good writer... Just not feeling this one.

I like when a book has imperfect characters. The story is more real, if they are older, have normal bodies or even odd personality quirks. In this one, Honee is portrayed as having love handles and is a plus sized woman, which is perfectly fine. She has a hard time of it as the "mean girls" and others make fun of her and consistently put her down. However, the author emphasized it over and over again to the point it was tedious. These are people in their 20's, not high school teenagers, and that part of the storyline and the characters came across as immature. It was great that Cody and one friend were able to see past her size, but the point was over the top. It didn't help when Cody, who is supposed to be ex-FBI, takes pride in being able to get any woman to hop into bed with him. He also doesn't question it when he thinks Honee is stepping out on him even though she is a virgin. This is an okay story, but geared more for a younger reader to match the maturity of the characters.

This is my first read on this series, and i can say I love it. It is a gentle heart endearing romance to where the main characters are not instantly on each other.
Cody is the family ladies man, he doesn’t deny it, and on occasion uses it to the advantage of the club. When he sees Honee getting picked on at the lake, he steps up and helps her out. He can’t seem to get her out of his head. The next time he sees her he finds out where she works and goes in and hits her up.
Honee is a shy person, who has been picked on all her life because of her weight and appearence. When she and Cody meet she has been laughed at and teased, so she runs, not knowing she left an impression on Cody.
They start to date and get to know each other better, then an old enemy comes back to life and attacks Honee, and there are misunderstood sightings by Cody.
They work it out and she comes to love the club and her and Cody find the love that neither thought they would ever find..

Cody has always been the playboy of the group. He never has a shortage of women. When they Boy of Djinn are asked to help stop a bank robbery Cody gets sent in to stop the woman. He uses his charm to get the woman to trust him and tell him her plans. The same night Cody meets Honee and is enthralled by her, he saves her from being bullied. He knows he wants more from her and realizes he doesn’t know where to find her.

After taking down Kim the bank robber Cody gets into a fight with his brother over using his “charm” take down Kim. They get in a fight and Cody leaves. He gets on his bike and rides off and comes across Honee. One thing leads to another and fast forward to Honee almost being raped and a fire with horrible consequences. I really liked this one. Cody’s life is the MC, working out, and women. He knows exactly what to say and do to get almost any woman and does it, even for work. When he meets Honee, his world changes in an instant. They both have some big insecurities, his mostly hidden. He makes her feel attractive for the first time in her life. Her esteem makes her sound a lot bigger than she is at a size 14. I really expected her to be a much larger person with the way people treated her. I love that he immediately works to build a relationship with her. He scene with him looking in the window is horrific on both sides. It broke my heart a little, but she takes care of business and does what needs doing. I love how the MC accept her, especially Dela who really helps Cody.

Cody: Boys of Djinn MC is an action-packed book with steamy romance to keep you reading. The characters are believable. Despite starting as an arrogant prick, you cannot help loving Cody as he quickly becomes clueless in love. He has a good heart underneath all the MC gruffiness. Any woman would want him to be their knight in shining armor. Honee is an excellent representation of what so many women go through regarding their body image. Just the interactions between Cody and Honee made the book entertaining. The storyline is compelling with a few twists, a shocking tragedy, steamy romance, and suspense. I am ready to read the next book in the series, Sparks.

Rae B Lake looks like producing another good MC series. Cody is VP and playboy, passing
through scores of women time and time again. His sweet talking ways are needed when he has to ensnare and trap Kim, female bank robber, during which he comes into contact with Honee, sweet, honest woman, taunted and bullied because of her size. Instant love and the feelings he has for her are a revelation. She cannot understand and accept that he is genuine until an unfortunate incident causes them both to face hidden truths.
Mistakes and misunderstandings on both sides, but trust and honesty is the key for happiness.

I really liked this read by Lake. I liked the development Honee went through. She is beautiful, stronger than she gave herself credit for, and so very compassionate. Cody is course was the exact opposite. Alpha, bossy, and unnerved by a few new beginnings when it came to Honee. These characters, along with some other's, and theme's, made this book great.

About the book: Honee is a beautiful, curvy woman. She has been ridiculed her whole life by people smaller than her size. One night after a bad encounter with said people, she gains a friend of the Superhero kind. Only he rides a bike, and has a few brothers at his back.

Cody, VP of the Djinn Mc, he was a player to be sure. But things started going wrong when he saw a beautiful girl in trouble been harrassed, but he couldnt get her number as he was in the middle of a case. But what broke him was his brother calling him as he was. However that was when he road and met up with Honee in her workplace. He fell in love. He didnt care about anything he had done before, she was it. But this time Cody has to chase and go slow for what her wants. And in the middle of all things a criminal comes back to give them more than a little grief!!

Totally loved and enjoyed this story, this one really is a must read. Five plus stars

Cody is a ladies' man who can charm them into doing his bidding. When the boys of Djinn are asked to help stop a robbery Cody is sent in to get next to the woman in charge of the robbery, he thwarts her but also meets Honee a woman that has come to terms with her life and thinks that she will live it alone. That is until she and Cody meets. They are captivated with each other although they are totally opposites. Do they have what it takes to take their relationship to the next level, and will it lead them to a happily ever after? I connected with Honee because she reminds me of myself!

I actually enjoyed this one more then the first! It follows the story of Cody, the VP of the motorcycle club and the beautiful curvy plus size FMC Honee.

Cody is one of the younger Djinn brothers tends to have a bit of an anger problem. He is your typical F boy until he lays eyes on Honee and then all he sees is her!

Honee is a beautiful curvy plus size FMC who has many body image issues and deals with bullies on the daily until she lets Cody in and he shows her how truly beautiful she is!

The spice in here is slow burn but every moment leading up to it are intense and so worth the weight!

It's hard to review these ones because they are so good and I don't want to spoil anything and all the best parts are spoilers!! Just read them from book 1 on and you'll get what I mean!

Cody is the VP Djinn MC, a bit of a ladies man, and the club uses that to their advantage to get information. When Cody is informed of his next job, to bring in a bank robber by using his “womanly” skills, he goes to do what he does best, and along the way he meets Honee. I loved the interactions between Cody and Honee, they had sizzling chemistry, and they were just perfect together. A great read filled with heartbreak, suspense, action, drama, angst, and steam.

Cody is VP of the Djunn MC and a Hugh playboy so when they are helping the FBI to track down a lady bank robber he sees the curvy Honee being humiliated by some guys and he comes to her rescue. He is attracted to the voluminous woman and she is shocked that he rescues her. Thinking he would never see her again but is shocked when he sees her working at a boutique so he goes in to talk to her which leads to them getting to know each other and he knows she is the one for him even though he never thought that he would want to settle down but he does with Honee.

Cody is VP of the Boys of Djinn and the club happens to be working with the FBI. Cody is charged with using his charms to get some info out of a woman. While with her he meets Honee and sparks fly. Honee has little self confidence as she is teased and bullied about her body, she doesn’t understand what Cody sees in her. He is more that happy to show her and keep her safe from the danger she is in. Fast-paced MC read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with plenty of drama, suspense and sizzling scenes. I liked it.

I adored these two. Cody is the man***** of the club. He is a hit it and quit it type of guy. He also can get any woman to fall for him or forgive him by turning on his charm. When he meets Honee all that changes. Honee is very self conscious about her weight and how she looks. When Cody is nice and compliments her, she doesn’t really believe him. They both need to trust each other. When danger comes knocking, who is doing the knocking? These two had such an instant connection and Cody is just knocked out by how beautiful and sweet Honee is. I loved this story and the characters I met.

Already hook on this series.

I just discovered this MC series and I’m hooked. Cody is the VP for his club and is known for being really friendly with the ladies. When he first see Honee he doesn’t know what hits him, but he has his work cut out for him as she doesn’t believe him. I love how patient he is with her as she discover that he may mean wha5 he says. As their heat level sizzle so does the danger against their club. Will he be able to divide his time with an insecure Honee and his club. What else would you expect from an MC book? It's a good one though, even if a little predictable. Cody is a good man who is finding his way. Honee is a sweet and luscious woman who has to put up with the ignorance of others. Can they find happiness together? This was a great addition to the Boys of Djinn series and Spark's epilogue is intriguing, so I can't wait for his story next.

Cody is a ladies man and the club use it to get information. Honee is happy in her book cave, thinking she will spend life alone she had comes to terms with that, so when Cody shows interest shes skeptical of his intentions. But what ensues she's could never imagine the outcome. Well written engaging story line and characters, a great addition to the series.

Cody is a player while Honee is sweet and very self conscious so I able to relate to her in a lot of ways. Their first meeting was anything you could see he saw her differently than the women he was usually with. The second time changed both their lives forever. I loved that he didn't like her putting herself down. I laughed, I teared up, my heart sank and I wasn't sure how it would end. After the preview at the end in so ready to get my hands on Sparks book.

Hot and Heavy

I love Cody and Honee's story! It's an EXCELLENT love at first sight sorta read that pulls you in and holds on tight. Cody and Honee are attracted to each other as soon as they set eyes on each other. My favorite part of this whole story is how he handled Honee.
But, if you've read any books by this author you know with her boys It's never smooth sailing. There's always lots of excitement and chaos involved.
